Vincent can hear it, and anyone else who didn't leave the infirmary, including any characters who didn't get a post in this round. Moth and Kat can probably hear it faintly, as they're not too far down the staircase yet. Everyone else should be completely oblivious to what's happening in the infirmary.

@rechonq I have one small (teensy) complaint to voice about your post, you can explain away and I'll probably think it's fine in the end and I feel I'm partially responsible since Vincent did conclude from his own personal knowledge about Rune Magic (and a PM from our wonderful GM @Mokley) that the pink stone found floating by the petrified people were in fact souls. It's totally reasonable that someone else could come to the same conclusion through logical reasoning, but never once has Vincent revealed his knowledge.

Ultimately, it is your character, so you can have Flor come to that conclusion himself, but the following quotes are metagaming information until that reasoning is addressed.

'The Grit are using our soul stones for power?' ...

Flor didn't really have any grudge or hatred against the Grit, until he found they were feeding on their souls.

I don't want to upset, I just want to address the issue before too much happens.

No that's fine, I never did address him assuming they were souls until now, and using someone else's thoughts is metagaming. He does assume they are a soul though. It's why he's collecting them, with hopes of restoring the people. It's probably an empty hope but it's a hope nonetheless. I was going to introduce it later, but it seems Vincent wants to use that power, which Flor will probably be against. Since he sees it as their soul and basically once their soul is destroyed its murder. It's why he got mad at the rabbit boy.

@rechonq Alright, that's cool. It always feels awkward for me to call out things like this. I can understand holding back character assumptions for some things, but I personally think that it's good to make almost all character assumptions clear so uncomfortable situations like this don't happen.

Flor's views on the souls will definitely create an interesting conflict with Vincent's desires. I look forwards to what happens between the two of them down the road.

Looks like you guys have it sorted, but I'll chime in for anyone else with the same question! I think most characters have come to the logical conclusion that the stones are important to the people who lost them and are probably needed to turn them back to normal, if that's possible at all. I've been referencing them ooc as soul stones, but the characters have no way of knowing for sure that's what they are. However, again, the character could come to that assumption through logic, especially given the nature of magic and enchantment that they all grew up with. Someone with little experience with enchantment might actually be faster with that conclusion, since they might not be aware that a soul has never been known to take a physical form.

That's a long-winded way of repeating what's already been stated, haha.
