> The option with the most votes FOR will be narrated when I get around to it, and the story will continue.
> In the event of a tie, the option with the fewest votes AGAINST will be chosen.

Zurnt: First, a quick tutorial on the color-coding of this story. Several options in the game are context sensitive, and the [Things] with which you can interact are denoted by the pair of brackets: [...] and corresponding color.
> Things that appear in [Blue] only work with Inspect.
> Things that appear in [Orange] work with Inspect and Pocket.
> Things that appear in [Yellow] work with Inspect and Talk.
> Things that appear in [Green] work with Inspect and Go.
> Things that appear in [Purple] work with All Options.
NOTE: All Options can be used with All Things, but if you vote for something that doesn't work, you'll usually just get a nonsense reply.
Specify an option and thing in the following format to have it count towards the vote.
FOR: Inspect > Soil
AGAINST: Inspect > Soil

Part 001
[You] awaken in a [Hole] deep beneath the [Surface]. The [Soil] is moist and compact, oozing a beautiful, terrible array of sights and [Smells]. [Bits of Worms] wriggle on the floor as if they had been cut in half, and the tails of tiny burrowing [Rodents] peek at you from the threshold of various small [Tunnels]. After a moment, they scamper off into the [Darkness] with a flurry of little squeaks. A [Soft Light] illuminates the confines of the hole and fills you with a warm sense of composure and dignity. It makes everything feel alright. Even taking into account the fact that you're in a dank pit somewhere, you seem to be doing alright for yourself.
Though... you're not sure exactly how it is that you came to be here.
Just a short while ago, you were in your usual spot: sitting at your prized [Desk] and playing an [Online Video Game] with your arch-rival and resident scrub, [CrybabyBanana413]. You can't stand that girl... She's one of those kinds of people... a roleplayer. You're definitely no good with that sort of person. You became so fed up with her happy-go-lucky bullshit that you lost all composure and refused to lose at any cost! Let's see... After that there was a [Loud Beeping] that filled your [Apartment] and a sudden surge of heat licking at your heels and neck. A cloud of [Noxious Smoke] descended upon your furiously gaming form and burnt your eyes front to back, as if someone had forcefully shoved your head into a barbecue grill full of smoldering coals.
Ah... then you suffocated and passed out. The last thing you remember are the words "Invader Repelled!" flashing on your monitor with an accompanying victory jingle. Good for you, you won! Just not at life, it seems.
