HAH. HAHA... HAH.. You're funny, Icc. In fact, I'm working on an essay and memorizing a script for a scene right now... So fun and totally not stressful. I wholly underestimated the amount of work I'd be doing this semester and I am doubly regretting it.

You know, I always tell myself I'd make time to actually sign up for Steam and start playing some games, but then I end up never having any time and so I play vicariously through Youtubers. I know, shame on me.

Don't even tempt me lol. There's a good reason I've never attempted a reboot of that particular RP. It came together so perfectly in such a short of amount of time--too perfectly, too quickly though. It was like the stars aligned and everything just fell into place and it was my first damn RP on the site. I wouldn't mind finishing it out since I still have the story details, but man. It's too daunting of a task lol.

I think a huge cast is the main issue. Maybe if we doubled up on the roles? That way there'd be less wheels to fall off in the meantime.

In any case, if it ever happens...I'm on board. Whatever you need. That's the first RP that made me like this site, or what it used to be... probably why I even stuck around for the time I did.

It was great for sure. My first RP ever on the old site and so many great people attracted to it. The way it went was also what made me like the site. Running that RP allowed me to see how everything worked and it was enticing as hell. That'd be something to consider after this and my other RP wraps up maybe. There's no way I could do Collusion and something else at the same time and I want to see this one to completion at least.

And I haven't seen Rut in....god...I can't even peace together a timeline. But it was long ago.

Rut was last in the Amber RP. At least, that's when I last remember seeing him at all. The Amber RP was really good now that I'm thinking about it.

Well, it had potential. And we're like flies and certain substances when it comes to potential. Shame it collapsed on itself.

It started failing when Rut started going MIA bit by bit. The trump messages got all messed up since anyone who answered a trump actually needed to do it through a group message with him...and... yeah, it was a flawed concept to be sure. But that RP is what got me to read a lot of Zelazny's work. So it's all good.

I usually imagine something IRL happened for Kirin to fade out, but sometimes it just feels that he was a victim of his own trap when it came to Amber...I could see something like that burning a person out for a while.

It was definitely the trump messages that did it. Flawed concept, but, as you said, great potential.

I could see him being burned out, but for this long? I mean, he basically quit. I feel like something in real life happened that we just don't know about.

I miss those days more by the second I spend here.

That's the thing about clusterfucks...it's never just one thing. But, yes, I do think he'd have come back unless something else kept him away.

Haha, as they say, we don't appreciate what we have until it's gone. Of course, that's not completely true since this place isn't gone per se. It's just different. I think it's more the consistent group we roleplayed with that we miss more than the OldGuild itself. Back then, it seemed like if any one of us started an RP, there was a guaranteed group coming. And Bliss could always be talked into joining even though it got harder lol.

I remember that, we basically stalked each other, almost to the point where new RPs almost didn't need any marketing...we were all coming in bundles.

And I know what you mean. I couldn't care less for formatting and the site appearance. But it'll take a while for a group like that to regrow itself. I think I'll finally be content with this place when that happens.

A while indeed. That group was forged through multiple failed RPs and tons of OOC chemistry. It's gonna take time for sure, but it'll happen.
