Rogue: Battle of the gods

Long ago, the gods battle for supremacy, carving out areas of the planet within which they had absolute power. The one industrious god or group of gods, no one knows which, created humans. To the waring deities, they were an interesting, but fragile, diversion. The deities instead formed pantheons which split up the various domains between multiple deities, and the world stabilized, as the various parts of the planet were no longer dominated by a single, or group of domains.

Soon the humans began to worship these deities as the ones who gave them live and protected them from the harsher aspects of the world, and the gods discovered that within the humans remained a spark of the divine power which created them. When they devoted themselves enough to a deity the humans developed a “Divine Blessing,” a deep magic which tied them to a particular deity, giving them abilities similar to that deity. In time the gods discovered two other ways to give humans the Divine Blessing. The children of a god and a human automatically got it, and a person would gain it if a deity drew a certain magical signal on the human.

Those with the blessing gained runes across their body, the symbol of the deity on their hand and other, arcane deep-magic symbols across their bodies. Any god or human with the Divine Blessing can sense the others with this magic, but it is hidden from the mundane humans by the will of the bearer.

For thousands of years the gods have been at a relative peace with each other, but something has arisen to threaten that peace. A new group of Divinely Blessed humans has arisen, calling themselves the rogues and targeting other Blessed humans. They are claimed by no god, but wage war on all gods. For this reason, most of the gods have banded together to try and put an end to these rogues. We are one of the groups the combined forces have put together, newly Blessed humans who were ordered to locate the rogues and to give the gods the knowledge they need to end them.

This takes place in a medieval society.

Cold: Create a cool area in front of your hands. Doesn't get cold enough to freeze water.
Shocking hand: Your hand shocks a person to stun them.
Insulate: Protect a person from uncomfortable levels of hot or cold.
Protect: Protect against one spell at this level.
Empathy: Feel the feelings of a target.
Polyglot: Understand and speak another language. Starts working with animals at G level.
Glamor: An illusion which changes physical appearance a bit.

Sonic boom: A loud boom of sound which can deafen any that hear it, and may cause damage to nearby things.
Illusory image: An image of something is created, and can be tied to an object or creature.
Weak TK: The ability to move up to a kilogram slowly with your mind.
Transfer Mana: Gives mana to a target.

Fire hand: Lights a persons body, usually the hands, on fire. Not harmful to the user.
Ice hand: Creates freezing cold air around a person's body, usually the hands. Not harmful to user.

Necrosis: The target area on any living or once-living thing begins to rot.
Camouflage: Illusion which allows another to see through you, though imperfectly.

History/Bio: He grew up as the son of a merchant, working a stand which made and sold medicines of various kinds. His father even taught him how to read and write, and how to make poisons, which his father told him to be careful who he revealed that skill to.
He spent much of his time in the temple of Hecate, goddess of herbal medicine and poisons. One day a woman approached him, and questioned him as to whether he was serious in his devotion. When he said yes, she revealed herself and touched his chest, writing runes upon his skin. When he woke up and few minutes later, he had a torch tattooed on his hand, though when he wished to hide it, it disappeared. "You are now my servant." the woman said, "for I am Hecate." She taught him to use his new power, then sent him to meet another group of people who had been blessed by other gods.

Deity: Well...this is a bit complex. Linus was born not through normal human reproduction, or normal Human-Divine reproduction, but was rather born from the Spilled Blood of Yeshua bin Yosef (yes, him) when he was crucifed in Golgotha, and the tears of Mary Magdalene. This technically makes him the Grandson of God.

Personality: Linus, being born from blood, tears, and earth, used to feel distant from humanity, but has grown to love them, due to his long centuries of experience. However, despite said long centuries, he still hasn't grown out of adolescent rebelliousness, and although loyal to his family and their cause, is a bit harsh towards their Earthly followers, with the Catholic Church, despite being his main allies, getting the brunt of his annoyance, due to their acquisition of money and power and certain...interpretations of the holy writings.

History/Bio: Linus was born, fully formed, clad in a white robe, some time after the burial of Yeshua bin Yosef, but his emergence into the world was overlooked because of the great events that happened some days later - at the same time that the Ressurection happened, Linus was already wandering upwards to Syria and Asia Minor, seeking answers to the question of his existence. Several years later, he reemerged in Greece, at the city of Corinth, where he was part of the fellowship of Priscilla and Aquilla in the early Christian Church, before leaving to wander east, towards Parthia/Persia and India, finally reaching China a century or two later, where he fought with Sun Quan and the Kingdoms of Shu and Wu in the Battle of Red Cliff.

He stayed in China for a few centuries more, then, after hearing rumors of what happened to his family's Church in Europe, raced back there, taking several decades to reach the region, where the Western Roman Empire had fallen and the East was in dire straits. Apparently, Judaism had split into three religions, each claiming to be the true voice of his Grandfather, and which were warring with Polytheists and Zororastrians and Machineans. Each of the religions had their own merits - and that's all he would say about that - but he was rather annoyed with the successors of Priscilla and Aquilla, the Catholic and Orthodox Churches, who despite praising Priscilla as a Saint, completely and utterly forgot that she was a female leader as well, one who held power over men even after 1 Timothy was written.

Swallowing his irritation at this, he put himself in the service of the Catholics, doing charitable jobs for the Church and fighting bandits, sometimes non-lethally, sometimes not; he wasn't his father. That said, though, another source of his anger were the rumors that his mother was a prostitute, but that was dealt with by a pact with the Church - they would stop spreading those rumors, in exchange, and this was also to keep the balance of power in Europe - he would bestow the Church's Holy Relics with the largest portion of his power, reducing him temporarily into the level of an Initiate-rank Demigod.

He still has doubts about that deal. But for now, though, best to see what this 'Rogue' business was all about.

Personality: Artorias is short tempered and swift to jump into a conflict, but not before carefully planning his first move; and maybe his second, third, and fourth moves as well. Some people admire him for his strength and divine linage, while others dislike his flaring hot temper and habit of starting conflict. However in the battlefield he can rally troops regardless of their opinions of him and has the spirit and charisma of a natural commander.

History/Bio: Artorias's mother was a blacksmith, she had a strong will and rough hands; probably why Ares took a liking to her. Although not enough to stay with her after getting her pregnant, he did leave his future son some gifts. His inheritance so to speak. After Ares left his mother to return to Olympus, she was very distraught. But she didn't want the village to see her as weak, so she married a rich and brash man by the name of Brandon shortly after the god's departure.

Brandon stayed with her throughout the pregnancy and was there when Artorias was born, effectively making him the boys father. Although it wasn't exactly a healthy relationship, Brandon was out most of the day during Artorias's early childhood and his mother had to attend to her forge. So during his free time alone Artorias learned how to read, it was difficult with nobody to help him during the day but after a few years he had mastered it.

It was around this time that it was becoming apparent that Ares was his father. He was very strong for an eight year old and got into alot of fights with other children in his village, this was all small evidence compared to the crimson arcane runes starting to show on his body. Once when he was twelve a child made the mistake of picking on him for the markings in his ignorance of their power, Artorias got very angered and for the first time his power manifested and the bully was set on fire by the power of his divine blessing markings; kinda ironic huh?

When Artorias was thirteen he apprenticed with his mother at the forge and learned basic weapon and armor smithing, but he decided it wasn't really his calling. He wanted to be a warrior, the thick of the action was his dream. In hopes of bettering his skills for this he enrolled at the soldier's academy in his village, where he studied for several years and learned the bulk of his combat knowledge. He was at the top of his class upon graduation and was easily the most powerful warrior in his village. When he returned home from his graduation ceremony at the academy his mother was waiting for him, with the gifts that Ares had put aside before he left her.

She bestowed upon him a two handed battle sword and a crimson suit of armor, of finer quality than even she herself couldn't create. This was the best present Artorias had ever recieved, he was thrilled; and couldn't wait to test them out in the heat of battle. Everyone told him that he had huge prospects as a guardsman, but he thought that was a boring lifeless husk of a career. and decided that he wanted to become a sellsword. It wasn't difficult to get business being the best in the village and all, after several successful jobs Artorias became known as one of the best out there; not just in his village. That kind of attention attracted all sorts of people, especially with the knowledge that he is the child of Ares. He began hearing whispers of a group called "rogues", he didn't know much at all; only that they had something to do with the divine and that they were bad news. Seeing this as a business opportunity, Artorias had advertisements established in the big city. He hoped to attract the enemies of these "rogues" and to charge them a pretty penny for his services.

@Minato Namikazejust a quick glance over your CS, but I see two problems.
1) you have an extra skill point left to add. They should total 34 points of exp, for future reference.
2)those spells are a bit much for starting powers. Fireball is an E level power, for reference. Those would be at least the same level. Can you start with something a bit more basic, like heat or boil/burn, or some kind of "pull aggro" move? Samples of level H,G, and F magics are listed in the OP.
We should get to that level soon, though.

Appearance: Best described as sickly, Aeron stands at an unimposing 5'7 and sports a build comparable to that of someone who hasn't eaten in some time. His fair skin and tidy hair are gone, for paleness and unkempt black tendrils have taken their place. Possessing an angular face, almond-shaped black eyes, and full lips, the boy could be seen as attractive if he didn't look like he was dying. Most of the bruises on his seemingly frail body have healed but the scars from his time at the brothel remain.

Personality:
Aeron is defined by his submissiveness. He'd rather not start a conversation, will hesitate to share his thoughts, and is just on overall doormat. Kind and selfless, he is similar to what he used to think all people were. Beneath all of this Aeron is wrathful. Self-hating because of his compliance to those who impose themselves upon him, he lusts to be the one who is powerful enough to make others feel as weak as he did and to never again fear being too weak. The swordsman possesses a dislike of authority, physical contact, and restraints. Among the few things capable of compelling him to take action is harm to an ally or his paranoia. Also, he really fucking hates the smell of lilacs.

History/Bio:
His father, Qiang, was a farmer, and like other farmers he thought that having a few extra helping hands would be wise. Out of this belief sprang bouncing baby Liu and his many sisters. His father, ever the practical opportunist, implanted the belief that those in charge would do good by those controlled and it was in little Liu's best interest to serve his family the best he could. And so, the child worked hard and followed his father's every command, among which were to farm and figure out how to use a sling. If he kept practicing he'd eventually get to use the family repeating crossbow!
One day he caught the eye of the man who owned the farmland and Liu ended up fetching quite the pretty penny. Qiang, ever the practical opportunist, sold him to the man. Unfortunately for the teenager he wasn't to become some sort of house slave, he was going to become a prostitute.
After a couple of months of being used, Liu became an absolute mess of emotions. He hated himself for believing that those who told him what to do wouldn't play him dirty, he hated how his own father betrayed him, and most of all he despised himself for letting it happen. But he wouldn't do anything. He couldn't. Luckily for him, Eris could. Attracted to all of the disorder found in one 16 year old boy, she decided to visit him, and in his first display of defiance he broke out of the brothel. The goddess gave him the equipment necessary to survive, gave him a new name, and gave him a goal: find the other blessed people; she'd tell him what to do after that was accomplished. Not knowing what else to do, Aeron followed Eris' instructions and set out to find them.

@BombardierThe closest thing to a problem I see is that your second spell doesn't have a level. Other than that, it's good.
