Hello, all. I've recently been wanting to expand my load of roleplays, so thought I'd fix up an interest check and see what attention I can get. To start off, I'm a 23 year old male RPer. I tend to lean towards male characters as my main, but I am open to doubling up. Honestly, I typically double up anyway since most stories need NPCs somewhere in there. So, I'm not strictly looking for male or female partners. I don't do MxM romances, simply because I don't believe I portray it that well. I am opening to having two male leads, though, as a kind of brother relationship rather than a romantic one. Finally, I typically write at a casual to advanced level. I give what I get, but I want at least two paragraphs. So...yeah. Not too many limitations on what I want out of an RPer.
So, without further adieu, I'll get on with my plots. I've separated them into original and fandoms. So, whatever strikes your fancy, let me know. Hope to hear from you guys soon. Just shoot me a PM or leave a message here.

During ancient times, there were two ancient rulers that walked the world: Inioch and Elwyn. Both of Elven descent, they ruled their kingdom with benevolence and kindness. The elves prospered under their rule. However, while the king and queen were great rulers, they kept their race secluded. As such, when the humans breached their forests, there was little they could do. Inioch stood against them and fell to the humans' blades. Elwyn fled with her elven subjects, further into the woods, using the last of her life to protect them from the woods, the last of her magic driving the humans out. With that, she ascended to godhood, a goddess of nature.
However, some elves were not happy with this seclusion. They wanted revenge. These elves left their bretheren, following the teachings of their late king in arming themselves for war. They descended into the depths of the earth, hiding themselves away from the world and preparing themselves for the inevitable war that would come. This separated the elves into two faction: the forest elves and the dark elves.
So, that's the basic setting. My idea is that we would play characters of opposing ideology. I don't have a set plot for this setting, but I thought the setting itself was interesting. We can either play enemies with clashing ideology or two elves of matching thoughts, different from their separate sects.
Once upon a time, in a land far away, there was a kingdom that stood for all that was right and just in the world. They were known for their fair rule, growing at an exponential rate as they would bring other, smaller kingdoms into their fold. As times passed, though, a challenge was presented to this great nation. A darkness crept through the land, swallowing the land as it came. Great champions rose to fight it and fell just the same. The king, in a moment of desperation, performed a ritual. He cast out his two children, twins, and sent them to another world. There, the two could grow up in peace, until it was time for them to return to their home and fight the darkness.
So, my idea here is that the twins are separated at birth. Neither had an easy life, finding strange occurrences happen in this new world as they grew older. It's a sign of the darkness growing strong enough to breach into that world. As it gets stronger, two guardians are sent to find the twins and bring them back. We would play one twin and one guardian each.
This is a possible small group RP, if I get enough attention. Up to four players.
This, I have far less thought out. It's based off a song I listened to called Ai no Scenario. The basics are that there is a woman betrothed to a royal. Over the course of time, she becomes friends with a peasant who visits often. When the royal catches on, he commands her to stop seeing him and, in response, the peasant helps her run away. The two are hunted down by the royal and killed for their treachery, a curse placed upon them in their dying breaths. Years later, in modern times, the spiritual successor to these two are going to the same school, though neither know it. So it would basically be their love story.
As a fair warning, I am largely unfamiliar with writing romance as the main focus. So I have no guarentee of my writing skill with this. I am looking to expand my writing talent, hence opening up to this plot.

*WARNING* SPOILERS AHEAD FOR SOME PLOTS
Based around the anime, One Piece, my thoughts with this would simply be to have a plot with an entirely original cast. Given the huge changes the characters make to the world throughout their journey, I think this is the easiest way to make something happen.

Years after Acnologia is defeated, the wizarding world has come to find peace. Many guilds, looking up to the legendary Fairy Tail that had defeated this menace. Long since disbanded, Fairy Tail is more a symbol than a physical guild anymore.
Our characters would be from a relatively small guild as we work our way up. My thoughts were that one of us would be scouted for the guild during a tournament.

This is based around a relatively new manga, Platinum End. Thirteen angels have chosen thirteen god candidates to fight in an elaborate tournament to decide who is the next god. One thing is held in common between the thirteen candidates: each one of them is inherently miserable. They are not happy with their lot in life and, because they have been made to feel that low, they are seen as worthy to inherit god's position and make the world better. I'll explain more in depth about the way this tournament works and powers that come along with the candidates if I get interest, but that's the basics.
This could work as a small group RP. Max of 13.
This is based around the anime, but with a few changes. Instead of members of history, the Servants reflect fictional heroes or villains. The magic is changed as well to reflect a magic system centered around fictional works. The idea is that you can use objects from fictional works as well.
This is a possible group RP. Max of 14 (for individual Masters and Servants), but more likely 7 (for paired Masters and Servants).
Oh, the Shadows in the Light plot sounds like it might be up my street! I'd be interested in us maybe talking it through a little more and seeing if we could get something going out of it? ^^
