[IC] Magic Knight Squires

When they pass the gate they would suddenly feel themselves being tugged on like they was being pulled hard, until their thrown through the other side in the middle of a open field surrounded by trees that look very familiar to the edge of the forgotten lands. They would be on a small dirt path. behind them would be a stone arch way. forward there is a cabin and a lake. The Grey knight would be almost to the cabin, he would glance back raising an eyebrow that they all followed. he would enter the cabin with his bag and after a few more moments comes out walking towards them. "you all surprise me... guess this means you've made up your minds sense there is no going back" he states with a chuckle. and puts his hands in front of him facing each other with good amount of space in front of him, energy would gather then a flash of light and there would be three outfits in his hands. "Take an outfit each and change into them" he tells them "These outfits are my specific training outfits, they all have weights mixed into them, both phyiscal and magical weights" he states.

(outfit appearance will be added later, when ever I can find an appropriate outfit)

Griffin accepted the outfit. He wasn't overly impressed by the clothing. But it wasn't any worse then what he had on. He shrugged. He didn't care what he wore. He looked around for a place to change. This place wasn't set up as nice as the other camp. He took his clothing and went behind some trees. Others might not care about being seen but he wasn't comfortable with anyone seeing his body.

Lance took the outfit as well, it seemed a bit strange. "Since we are now associated with you, what is your goal? What do you wish to achieve?" Lance asked. He wondered because the knight sided with neither kingdoms.

Lavy took the outfit with gentle hands and almost rushed to hide behind a bush to change, since she was the only female. Though the clothes she now held were nicer than anything she had ever worn in her short life.

The grey knight would look towards them "my goal? what i wish to achieve?" he chuckles at those questions. "The one thing the others don't, peace" he states "No fighting, no wars, just peace between all" he states "But in order to do so one must fight.." he says pulling out his wooden sword "Once your dressed and ready, come at me all three of you at the same time" he says as the wooden sword gets a slight gleam to its look "time to test your skills" he states.

Lance listened to the knights, in a way it confused him but lit a fire in his heart at the same time. It was a first for him to hear a knight talk about wanting peace as well as going so far to achieve it by cutting all ties off. "If peace is your goal I will assist you in achieving it" Lance said, quickly putting on his outfit. He picked up his knives and prepared to spar with the grey knight, he knew he was quite the expert as he made light work of the monster back at the village.

Griffin doubted the knight's words. How could he want peace? Being a knight was all about fighting was it? He shrugged. Whatever. He changed into the clothing the man had given him. Then he considered how to attack the knight. He wasn't worried about the other two trainers. He didn't care what they did. They weren't a team yet. He didn't know if they ever would be. He was willing to work with them if they proved themselves.

Lavy's eyes flickered to the other trainees before looking back at the knight. Her hand tightened into fist. Those two may've had weapons but all Lavy had was her own will and a little bit of body strength.

The grey knight just stood there watching them "You three coming or not?" he says with narrowed eyes "Don't have all day, especially if you want a chance to eat today" he states for some reason.

Lavy took a deep breath before sending one last look at the other trainees before sprinting at him, keeping herself low as she threw a fist at him.

Lance followed up after the other knight aiming high at the grey knight, throwing a punch at the Knights upper body.

Griffin wasn't paying attention to the other two. One was going high and the other low. In a way it was funny. He was pretty sure they hadn't planned it but he found it interesting that they both chose different location. He decided on the head on approach, as he did with most of his problems. He throw one of his throwing knives towards the grey knight. Let him deal with three attacks at once.

The Grey knight would calmly swipe with his blade diverting Lavy's punch upwards into Lance's causing them to collide with each other stepping to the side forcing them off balance and to fall, while raising his hand and catching Griffin's Knife. "Never let go of your weapon in a fight, even if it's quick and mobile like a knife, it's a lot more affective in your hands than the air" he states tossing it to the side "watch your team mates and find a way to put your enemy off balance and divide his attention" he states to them before he swings his blade in an upwards ark at Lavy and Lance, and throwing Griffin's knife back at him, of course aiming for simple non lethal sense not wanting to kill them. "seeking to simply kill an enemy will cause your defeat" he states to them, "Anger is the first sign of weakness, if it consumes you in the middle of a fight, you have already lost" he states, "

Griffin impressed. The guy was decent to be able to deflect all three attacks. "I am not stupid enough to throw away my only weapon. I am not angry." He said it honestly. He didn't know what to do to the other man. He wasn't big on close combat attacks. And it hadn't seemed to do either of the two any good so why would he use a technic that had already failed? That made no sense to him.

"I just don't know how to fight...." Lavy mumbled, standing up straight and dustying herself off slightly. She then started to clenth and unclench her fist to let them stretch out a bit.

Griffin saw the knife coming. He was impressed by the magic that redirected his throw. It wasn't something that most people could have done. Which was probably the point. The Grey knight had magic. That's what he wanted. Something that would give him power. The power to help those who couldn't help themselves. He didn't have that yet but he did have the skills he had learned growing up. He dodged the knife and grabbed the hilt before it passed him.

Lance got up after Lavy, he knew from the beginning that the grey knight wasn't any ordinary knight, he was able to wield magic which was a big advantage over the novices in battle. Lance then takes out both of his knifes and resumes battle with the grey knight, slashing at the grey knights chest.

He would be surprised only one had started to keep fighting, he simple danced as if out of reach of the blades "It's not about knowing how to fight... even a novice can beat a trained professional" he states "it's all about your state of mind" he tells them, he glances over to Griffin "I haven't even used a trace of my magic" he states having done everything by hand so far, he moves into Lance's reach and uses his wooden sword to take out lance's legs to make him fall. "when one remains calm, and focused even ones such as you three can notice holes in your enemies defenses" he states "sense two have seemed to have given up fighting already.. then I suppose we'll call it there for the sparring" he states and walks over to pick up a rock "I'm going to give you three a simple test to see how you do" he tells them, putting his finger to the rock and uses magic to draw his symbol on it, then something mysterious on the back. and he shows them his symbol on it "Your mission is to find this stone.... The last one who returns without it doesn't get to eat tonight" he states to them "now... go find it!" he says as he turns towards the trees behind the house and throws the stone and it goes flying out of sight "you got until sun down...better get moving" he grins "o by the way.. the forest has a good amount of dangerous beasts in it, good luck"

Griffin watched the stone through the air. He knew tracking it would be hard. He wasn't worried about not eating. He had gone hungry before. He could do it again. But he still wanted to be the first to find it. He took off into the wood. He tried to calculate where the stone might have landed from the arch he had seen. The grey knight was stronger then most people so he tried to keep that in mind as he took off.

Lavy nodded, taking off with quick steps. She knew she wasn't smart like the others but she had to prove herself, and yeah even if she didn't find the stone she knew she could go hungry and be fine. She had lasted a long time without food before. Though she was worried about the beast lurking in the forest she kept that fear pressed to the back of her mind.
