It's difficult to tell. Falkenburg heard thunder for hours before the antlion struck before. That sound is probably just them tunneling beneath the earth. Who knows when they'll break through.

Hahaha. Is it done or are you still working on it? I notice it was posted two hours ago.

By the way I write all of my post drafts in Google docs. Saves what you've typed to the letter, even if your computer crashes or the browser effs up. I recommend it highly to anyone. I HATE losing posts.

Only problem is once the docs get huge (I never delete anything) they get sluggish and eat a lot of processor power, so I have to make a new one every so often. After making about 60 docs I started losing track of what was what because I never named them. So I've begun doing so. Currently using a doc called Draft Doc 7: A Few Good Drafts.

Quick announcement: As of Saturday (March 12), I'll be gone for about two weeks to visit some of my girlfriend's relatives in Mother Russia; that means I almost certainly won't have any internet access whatsoever until I'm back (not because of Russia but because of the relative's internet situation). We'll be back on the Easter weekend but since those are national holidays here in Germany, I probably won't be able to do anything on the forum or even catch up on what I'm missing until after (think March 29).

Maybe I can participate in the next round of posts if you, @Life in Stasis, initiate it sometime before Friday, 16:00 (GMT+1), but after that, all I can do is hope that I'm not missing anything too cool to react to.

If everyone posts in the next two days I should be able to post and give you a chance to react. (If not, I may post anyway. It'll be a climactic post you don't want to miss.)

To help the numbers, I have a couple people waiting in the ropes for me to pull in. I may have to do so. After the next round, there'll be another opportunity to organically introduce some more characters.

Unless you want 6 paragraphs of him angrily yelling at elves and such. It could be fun, and definitely in character, but I feel like the mage might offer a helping hand soon, so I don't want to waste that chance by having Lothren place a batallion of Elves to guard Gawain.

@Errant Son Well I had thought he could knock Lothren on the head and make a run for it. He and all the elves are scurrying around in a huge fuss. You know that the King is SUPPOSED to be here, but he's missing. I'd say that's cause for your monarchist knight to worry, and to do something about it.

@Life in Stasis I would be inclined to agree if it weren't for the fact that the mage seemed somewhat interested in perhaps freeing the knight. I'd hate to waste that chance (he's basically the only ally, plus some interaction between him and other people would be nice so he's not RPing in his own corner) and I feel it'd be kinda metagamey if Gawain just so happened to stumble across the mage.

There's some kinda deal with Sega games up until the 13th, but I've never really been a Sonic fan. Nothing else really looks good either, except some of the War hammer RTSes.

I might try out Just Cause 2 and make that my obsession over the weekend.
