I'm Otter! I've been off the guild for a little while due to classes, works, and a bunch of other stuff. I'm finally back though! So, if I had a roleplay with you previously and you want to continue it, just shoot me a PM and we can pick up where we left off. If you're new, then hi! I have a few ideas that I'd really like to give a go if anyone finds them interesting! Of course there's a few things you should know before hand!
Ps. Sorry I'm bad at introductions xD I tried!
Important Sh-Stuff.
-I'll attempt to post every other day. Sometimes more, sometimes less. I'll try to keep you updated with my schedule. - For the most part, I'm a casual roleplayer. I give about 3 paragraphs on average, of course it varies. It could be more or less depending on the story and how I'm feeling. However, I do accept Free roleplays as long as we keep far from one-liners. They can be relaxing sometimes. c: - I'm looking for someone who's up for collaborating and chatting about random things in the plot. OOC is an important aspect for me in a roleplay. If there's no OOC I probably won't stick around very long. - I like a little romance in my roleplays but it definitely won't be the focus of the roleplay. It also might not develop at all and I'm ok with that. - That being said, I prefer to do MxF pairings. I usually roleplay females but I'm perfectly capable of rping males so I'm very open to doubling. - I personally enjoy including multiple characters in a roleplay so prepare for a few side characters here and there! :3 If you want to as well, go for it! But it's not a requirement. - I like to roleplay over PM more so than thread but I can compromise. - As far as mature levels go, I'm ok with anything for the most part. I do prefer to fade to black with any sort of sexual scene though. Of course I ask for you to be 18+ for such themes.
Yep. That about covers it. :3

Two detectives worked closely together for a solid 4 years. They were a good team and put plenty of criminals behind bars. However, one case became personal. The case started like any other. There was a murder and they were on the search for the killer, trying to find what leads they could despite the difficulty of this particular case. One case became two, then three. A new serial killer was on the rise and threatening their small town.
Then the fourth victim came. It was the spouse of detectiveA who was killed, like a warning for the detectives to stay out of the killer's way. DetectiveA when off the deep end, wracked with grief over the death. She/he wanted revenge and planned to get it. DetectiveB tried to console their partner to no avail. The grieving detective devoted nearly all of their time to try to find the killer but every lead seemed to run dry and their obsession made them more aggressive than ever. It even caused a large rift between the two partners and eventually lead to the detective having to turn in his/her badge and quit.
A year later, DetectiveB has a new partner and the serial killers has since disappeared. DetectiveA, on the other hand, has sinked down far because of his/hers past actions, leaving them with a crappy job and a drinking problem. For the first time in a year, the two cross paths in a bar one night. They reconnect and bury the dispute they had previously over a few beers.
As they leave the bar and walk out into the dark streets, a loud cry is heard from a nearby alley. The two run over to find that a girl is badly wounded and terrified. As they question what happened and who did this two her, she replies that her attacker told her to tell them "I'm back, DetectiveA and DetectiveB. It's time we continue our game."
It seems the serial killer has finally reappeared and is looking to play a game of cat and mouse with the two detectives on a more direct level than before.

Years into the future, science is advancing at a surprising rate and giving birth to many successful endeavors. People praise the scientist that keep them happy and healthy. However, in order to receive, society also has to give. Both society and the government has turned a blind eye to the less than moral experiments that are taking place in the many labs. Scientist have been creating humans from beakers and cloning in order to test their many experiments. Society isn't fully aware of the exact details and most don't wish to know. Hear no evil, see no evil.
CharacterA has recently graduated from college and was also a science major (can be more specific later). S/he gets a small job at a lab thanks to family connections. S/he has very little knowledge about the dark secrets of a laboratory but assumes that they can handle it.
Turns out it was a lot worse than CharacterA expected. On her/his first day s/he is bombarded with the truth behind the labs as she witnesses experiments taking place. It is then that she runs into CharacterB, one of the longest surviving experiments at the age of 22.
The roleplay will be centered around these two as CharacterA is have a moral dilemma and CharacterB is finally finding some hope for a way out.

Gillamoor is an extremely small town hidden from most of the outside world. It produces most of it's own food and doesn't have much contact with the outside world. This is perfect for Gillamoor, for it is a sanctuary for the supernatural creatures that are trying to hide themselves in a land run by humans.
While nearly everyone within Gillamoor is some sort of creature, they still disguise themselves as humans due to the fear of travels as well as the fear one particular human learning their secret. CharacterA is a human living in a village of monsters. However, they don't know that. About 20 years ago, a family of three werewolves stumbled upon the baby human. S/he had been abandoned. They took him/her to the local orphanage that was used to housing monster kids who had lost their parents to hunters.
Because the child was human, there was a large debate over how they should handle the situation. In the end, the child grew up in the village as just another orphan. Though, s/he was often outcasted by the town, even as s/he grew up into an adult. As an adult CharacterA was forced to live off whatever they could get. They hunted their own food and often slept in the local barns and such. They were hated by most of the villagers to say the least.
CharacterB was one of the few who did pity CharacterA. S/he grew up in the same orphanage as CharacterA but kept their distance due to the fact s/he was human. Though, CharacterB eventually found a family unlike CharacterA. Even as an adult, CharacterB maintained distance from the human and went on with their daily life.
Tragedy eventually struck the town. Somehow, possibly by a spy or snitch, the town's secret was discovered by humans. Hunters, to be specific. They stormed the town one night in a large group and proceed to slaughter the villagers while they tried to either run or fight off their attackers. CharacterB watched in horror as their family was killed and was nearly next on the list until CharacterA stepped in and saved them.
The two escape from the village and the hunters together. However, now they have new problems to deal with. CharacterA now knows about monsters. CharacterB lost their family. Both of them are stuck together and have to figure out where to go now.

CharacterA is a vampire who has been around for hundreds of years. They've lived through thousands of good times and equally as many bad times. Despite their enemies, be it hunters or werewolves or other vampires, CharacterA is a survivor. S/he has since been living a rather average life within human society. As of recently, they bought a new apartment in a not so good part of a rather large city. But being a vampire and all, it doesn't phase or scare them that much.
CharacterA has just finished moving into his/her new place when they get the strangest feeling of being watched. Upon further investigation, they discover that their new apartment is actually haunted by CharacterB. Which wouldn't be a huge issue if CharacterA didn't have a natural fear of ghosts. Or if CharacterB didn't have an unnatural fear of Vampires.
Now the two are stuck together since CharacterA doesn't have the money to move out and CharacterB can't leave the apartment.
Characters
-Here are a few characters of mine that are fairly developed and in need of a plot. c;

Pyria Elynore
Age
24
Race
50% Elf, 50% Human
Bio
Long ago an elf named Nasir and princess named Betha crossed paths. Both were representatives of their kingdoms. Nasir was sent as a substitute for the Queen who had recently given birth. He was only an advisor but his King trusted him greatly. Betha was sent for learning experience as she was to rule the Miton Kingdom after her father's passing. The purpose of their meeting was to establish a trade route between their respective kingdoms.
While they were successful in their duty, there was also a spark between the two. It was false to call it love because it simply wasn't. It was a fling at the very least and a strong connection at the most but it was never meant to last.
Some time later, Betha ended up pregnant with Nasir's child despite having only crossed path's once with him. Her father, clueless to who the father truly was, quickly married her off to a noble of the court to hide the scandalous pregnancy. His plan would have worked too if the child had not been born with the ears of an elf.
The king was furious but let the child live under his protection. He made a maid take of the baby girl. Years passed and Pryia, the illegitimate child of Nasir and Betha, had reached the age of 9 and worked as a servant to her birth mother. One day, things went south.
The King of the Labia Kingdom (Elven Kingdom), came for a visit and alongside him was his faithful advisor, Nasir. Pryia was warned to stay out of view from them but curiosity got the best of her when she noticed they had pointy ears like her. She revealed herself to the two which lead to the Elf King questioning Betha's father. Nasir eventually put the pieces together and revealed that she was his and Betha's daughter.
This caused a great uproar from both kings and ultimately it was decided that the child must be killed to avoid any vicious scandals for both kingdoms. There was no objection from either Nasir nor Betha at this decision. The next morning Pryia was taken out into the woods by a knight. However, instead of ending her life, one knight gave her pity. He took her far from the castle to a small village where he knew a couple of seamstresses that would take care of her.
Pryia then lived the seamstresses. They doted on her as if she was their own kin and even tried to show her the ways of the seamstress. While Pryia appreciated their kindness, she had no interest in the work of a seamstress. She was much more interested in learning how to wield a sword and fight. She eventually befriended a skilled swordsman who agreed to teacher her everything he knew but only if she would accompany him.
At the age of 15, Pryia said goodbye to the seamstresses and traveled with the swordsman. She was a natural when it came to wielding a sword and as the years past, became an expert at it. Sadly, nothing gold stays.
During a harsh winter, her mentor and friend fell terribly ill. Despite her best efforts to help him, he eventually perished to his sickness, leaving Pryia to travel on her own.
She is now 24, 4 years after loosing her mentor, and is in the neighboring kingdom of Miton known as Marus. She makes her living off of doing small favors and getting occasional jobs at shops and such as she roams.

Mechanic/Inventor
Bio
Tera grew up in a big and always had the desire to build and create things. She was smarter than your average fifth grader by the time she was in third grade. Eventually, she managed to skip a few grades and proceed at a fast rate with her education. She devoted most of her time to taking things apart and putting them back together, which often drove her parents made whenever they bought her something new.
After attending her dream school, Tera worked for a large company. However, it was short lived. While doing a few experiments of her own on the side, Tera ended up severely crushing her right arm and was forced to have it amputated. This had a terrible effect on the inventor because she could no longer do the job she loved with just her left hand (especially since the right was her dominant hand). So while technology moved forward, Tera moved backwards, sinking into a depression.
Eventually, world of an underground mecha ring gave her an idea and some hope. She sought out one of the mechanics and begged him to build her a working arm, even providing him with blueprints. He caved in and built her a robotic arm that almost worked as good as a real one. Though that one deal forced her to join his team as both a mechanic and a fighter.
Tera wasn't exactly thrilled but the sport appealed to her and she has since been a dedicated team member of his.
Kendra Hendrix
Age
30
Occupation
Survival Expert
Bio
She grew up in a big city full of crime and little justice. It was bad. Kendra lost her parents during a driveby shooting at the age of 13. The cops tried to comfort her but there wasn't much they could do. She had been inside their small apartment when she witnessed it. The killers were never caught.
Years later, Kendra was set on becoming a cop to provide true justice to the city that never had it. She turned out to be rather good at it, handling guns, stopping the bad guys, and so on. However, she was a bit of a wild card and at times, she took justice into her own hands. No one ever caught her when she did, except for her partner maybe.
When the apocalypse hit and zombies roamed the earth, she hit out in the police station, where she just so happened to be stuck. Many of her comrades ended up dying right away, leaving her alone at the station. Kendra grabbed all the guns that she could and drove far from the city and out into the country side.
There, she met a small group of survivors. They banded together and traveled in search of a safe haven. Their numbers grew despite loosing a few people and eventually they were able to build a small community in a mall after building walls and securing the area.
Kendra was in no way the leader but often acted as the sherif and scout of their small community. Whenever their food needed replenishing or other supplies or even to look for new survivors, she would take solo trips out to scout for such things.
On one trip out alone, she was attacked by other survivors and barely got away with her life. It was how she lost her eye.
