[OOC] Experimental Army

Scientist have found a way to give human unusual abilities. The government has agreed to fund this experiment. The question was where to get volunteers. After much discussion it is agreed to offer the option to young criminals as away to avoid jail and turn their lives around. As one of these young criminals you will have to learn to control power. If you survive the training you will became a solider defending the United States. The teens are kept an apartment complex that was build under ground. The idea was to give them enough space not to kill each other. It was understood that the teens would do exactly what they were told or they would be destroyed. They would be tested and educated. It was hoped that they would be the soldiers of the future saving others.

1. This is my RP. What I say goes. If you disagree with something we can discuss it.
2. Do not attack other characters without approval
3. Do not attack NPC without clearing it with me. I don't want random destruction.
4. If you are unsure about something ask I will answer to the best of my ability.
5. If you shift your clothing will wither shred or you will be limited in them until you're either helped out or you figure out how to get out of them.
7. If you have a suggestion let me know I welcome suggestions
8. No fighting in the OOC. I don't mind discussions and disagreements.
9. Taser means your out 5 posts (more if we are very active). Stun gun means your out at least 10 post.
10. Use the mention button. It helps people know your talking to them. Especially me ;)
11. Internal thoughts are great but please make them appear different from your spoken words. I don't care if you use color or italics.

Bio: Oliver was born to parents who couldn’t afford to raise him, nor did they have the desire. Feeling unloved by parents who hated him for ruining their lives, he ran away. He quickly became affiliated with a gang by the name of “The Serpent’s”, denoted by the Ouroboros tattoo on his upper left arm. Oliver was mostly involved in cat burglary or, more often, smuggling. When the gang leader’s son shot a rival gang member, the leader chose Oliver to take the fall. He was arrested while reading in the public library and declined to speak to an attorney. Since he later pled guilty to smuggling as well as the murder, he was put into a juvenile detention center for six years, only serving two of those years before he was chosen for the program.

Basically he can control the shape in which his molecules form, creating new elements inside himself

Personality: calm and self aware, Aydon Keeps to himself but isn't shy to stand up for himself or for the ones he cares about. He can be one that people say never talk, but it is hard for people to get him to shut up when he's comfy, and he likes to think he has a good sense of humor. Aydon prefers not to talk about his past, he keeps the past in the past, all he knows is he is in the military now for his family, his mother would be proud.

Bio: Aydon was born in downtown New York, where he was mostly raised by his mother and older brother. His father left him when Aydon was a young age, not an unlikely tale sadly. Aydon's mother struggled raising two boys. As soon as Aydons older brother, Dylan was old enough he went to work as much as he could, unfortunately finding himself in crime acts for money. Small robberies, nothing big, but it was good, their mother just thought it was good money from work. Until one day when Dylan ran into some problems at a store and was shot and killed. Aydon was soon off to work as his mother struggled even more now barely making money and depressed from her lost son. Aydon too turned to crime. He was different though, he was good at it. He had a knack for sneaking around and stealing. Only thing that ever could have been his downfall was trust, a bigger hit ended up in a mess that Aydon didn't like, but who he was with was killers, they pulled a gun on him and he did what he had to do. It was too late to run as the police were there, walking in a scene of Aydon surrounded by bodies. Wasn't giving much to argue in court. He ended up in a cell and getting the choice...

Skills: He is really good at running, so basically athletic stuff is what he's good at.

Power: Blood manipulation - he controls his own blood for whatever purpose he wants.

Bio: Flippy and his brother were raised in an orphanage after their parents "tragic death." He doesn't remember what happened after that, but what he dose recall is him and his brother in a cardboard box.

Jason Takeshi

Code name: Skeleton
Age: 17
Skills: Jason is good at most types of combat, but mostly ones you would find being used in street fights.

Power: bone manipulation - He can manipulate his own bones and grow them out making them bend and turn to form what ever he desires.

Bio: The orphanage was a great place till the night Jason learned what happened to his brother. One night Jason had stumbled upon a room in the orphanage that most kids were told not to go into. Of course Jason wasn't a kid so he took a peak inside and what he saw was something he'll never forget. The room had a chair sitting under a light, a table with a small arrangement of needles and knives, and a light hung from the ceiling. Jason only assumed that kids were drugged in here and then they were at mercy to what the owner's want to do with them. That night Jason took his brother with him and ran away. In the end they ended up living in a box in an ally way for a long period of time. This caused him to resort to stealing from local stores one day he got caught and was followed back to his box home where the store clerk and was held at gun point. His brother had distracted the clerk and in that time Jason punched him sending the gun flying towards his brother. After a couple seconds Jason found himself almost being strangled to death, but that was till his brother had picked up the gun and shot the clerk hitting two major organs and then bleeding out. In court Jason and his brother were found guilty and sent away.

Real name: Ivy Calloway
Code name: Leech (which she hates)
Age: 16
Skills: Ivy is a great problem solver, being very level-headed and logical. She has no formal weapons training, but is competent enough with a gun.
Appearance: (I don't have any pics yet) Ivy has a round face and hazel eyes. She has short, curly, somewhat uneven chocolate brown hair that comes to about her chin at it's longest. She's pale and freckly, with a thin build. She's high-waisted and notably lacks any real curves otherwise. She's pretty short, about 5'2".
Power: "leech life," She can manipulate energy or absorb it from other sources (plants, electricity, other humans). It can be used to heal others or herself, or she can create "energy spheres" that can be hurled at enemies. Due to the unusual and experimental nature of these powers, as well as Ivy not really knowing how to use them yet, they're very weak right now.
Bio: Ivy ran away from home at a young age with her older brother. They were both arrested last year for robbing several banks, convenient stores, and homes across New England. She was charged with armed robbery and being an accomplice to the murder of a store clerk and accessory to that of a police officer (both killed by her brother), was tried as an adult and sentenced for fifteen to thirty years. Her brother was sentenced for life (possibly to death for the murder of a federal officer) and she hasn't seen or heard from him since.
Ivy is quiet and distant, not terribly social. She can be very bitter and hostile towards others, having a very short temper and being excellent at holding a grudge. She's very grateful for this second chance, and has been trying to be kinder and more open to others now that she's in the program.
