@The Irish Tree According to the OP, whether your immortality is permanent or based on conditions is up to the god who makes you a hero to determine, so it could. I feel that some gods, like Zephyrion (God of Change), might forgo making your immortality dependent on your loyalty.

Ah. I think I'd just have my guy START human, and if anybody wanted to have him be a hero or something they could, but since that idea sounds pretty boring, and highly unlikely. So, I might just go with the demigod of doorways or bridges or something.

@The Irish Tree If you want him to start off mortal, I suggest making a sheet for him and showing it around, see who is interested. We can't determine what god would elevate him until we know what he/she is like, but there are twenty gods here so it shouldn't be a problem finding one.

That makes sense, yeah. I'll try and get around to that when I can. I'm digging the diversity and creativity put into the roster of gods though, so I can't really say I wouldn't be happy to be a hero of just about any one of them.

@Legion02That's true. There's still an incentive to just make their own city (with blackjack &c.), but @poog the pig could have a business going providing worshippers to the less building-inclined gods in return for their protection (seeing as they don't want to lose their own worshippers).

Reathos sadly doesn't care about worshippers. He cares about servants and such. But the only way to receive full protection from Reathos is to make Fate stop him. Reathos worships Fate's word above all other gods (Yes even Logos, in fact Reathos won't even listen to Logos very much). That or you strike a deal as said before. As an emperor it's probably not that hard to make sure that those on deadrow actually get the axe.

@poog the pig, Teknall isn't especially interested in worshippers (he'll happily have worshippers, though), but he is interested in civilisations. If you're going to be ruling as god-king over the first civilisation of Galbar, Teknall will be extremely interested.
