Just want to congratulate you all, the IC has been alive and kicking (for the most part ^^') for more or less six months. That's two and a half months longer than Mk.I

Excellent.

What's a seven foot tall guard compared with a Fretzkick? You were in no danger whatsoever xP if anything, I pity the guard who gets the job of trying to stop you taking pictures xDDD

@The Irish Tree...I should've left Belvast to that terrible Fate some people had in store for him, birth-wise.

Current plans for unspecified time frame that should end up being really soon

-do shit in space (section done)
-hide Heartworm from Jvan (done)
-email Astarte (halfway done)
-catch up with diaphane's kids (should be a short section in the context of the space shit, already planned it all)
-put things in the caliginous mangrove (planned but not started)
-give agriculture to the urtelem (planned, still has plot holes)
-deal with urtelem/sculptor cultural norms about zombification (still gotta plan that out)
-make creation sheets for all that shit (not even gonna try that yet)
-introduce a bit of culture-related tech (lol nope)

Dropping this here to remind me to get in gear instead of dicking around with ancient Linux games from my childhood.

Ok that's like three or four things checked off the to-do list. I'll go back to catching up on everyone else now.

Ed: Also I want Ernst Haeckel to come to my house and stamp on my face in heels like wow. Kunstformen is such a cool inspiration book, guys.

I looked up Kunstformen, half expecting it to be a bawdy German- no, Belgian pornographic novella. I was disappointed with that I didn't find, but I was also pleasantly surprised with what I did find.

The promise of an invasion of Jvanic life from spaaaaace is an interesting one. As well, I'm going to mark down the following of Slough's reincarnation as an official start to her cult amongst the local hain.

Just one thing: I am going to assume that there's some magicks at work with influencing the white giant that is following along. They don't really have the physiology to be influenced by pheromones.

Updates to the History of the Hain

Added to my character post. I've named the big battle arbitrarily, so anyone can come up with other names if they like.

??: The battle of angelblood ridge results in some chaos hain joining Lifprasil's budding empire. These are the first hain believed to have joined him.

??: Hain develop djinni fighting techniques with their shamanistic magic. They do not initially work very well. This is in response to some stories of tribes being slaughtered for their second hatching rituals. Hain that consciously avoided second hatchings fell victim to anxiety, fear, and eventual madness as what they would normally carve on their shells became vivid hallucinations. The only cure for this was to undergo the ritual.

??: The event that caused many life forms to follow the tracks of the reincarnation of Slough occurs here. This marks the first chapter in the history of dedicated Slough worship by the hain skirting the Venomweald. Previously, there had only been reverence and respect for Slough.

Now I have two reasons to start a space age: get people to mine Teknall's moon, and go look at Jvan's space life.

How much would Vowzra hate Teknall if he rushed a civilisation to the space age?

I don't think it's possible to rush a civilization that much. The might cost would be immense

Very much. Very very much. Enough to all-his-Might Vowzra-smash your civilisation into oblivion. He would be creating destruction. Haven't yet read Antarctic's latest post, but whatever it is, best not to react by creating a space-age civilsation. Unless, of course, you would like to do so in your own plane and have them escape and colonise a planet or something, in which case fair enough. But no space age civ on either Galbar or Arcon.
