At this point they are still gathering a training. Having a relatively small but reliable force would not only make the conscripted forces more effective and easier to train, but could contribute to the economy through labor. Barracks also have to be a thing, which I plan to set up later on. Also, tax isn't a thing yet since currency hasn't been invented, Amestris is currently built upon Domestic Trade (without money). Since Amestris is rich in raw materials due to the mountain, and water is in abundance, not to mention land for agriculture, providing for it is not a problem. Im probably gonna go down the Assyrian route with this.

Lifprasil is generally on ok terms with most gods, but the most powerful one currently hates him by default.

So he's got that going for him, which is nice.

Eh. I believe the hate of any god, powerlevel aside, is already an issue for peps like Lif and Amartia.

And I mean actual hate "I will freaking kill you m8" and stuff, not just "You need to stop eating people's souls Amartia, I need them to draw pretty pictures".

Like, I think all gods have a way to destroy a city, most can even probably wipe out life on Galbar.

I figured it'd be best to break up my long-promised post into two parts, so that I can get it out sooner and it isn't a 50,000 character long leviathan of a read. So shtuff happens, it's revealed that the Horse People living in the Golden Barrens area have mostly independently (though perhaps with some help from Ventus) developed animal husbandry and started riding horses. Vetros has also grown and a big timeskip happened. But the important stuff will all have to happen in the next part of the post.

So, my priorities are now:
1. Bake a bunch of khookies to appease you lot
2. Make part two of that post
3. Make another ogre post

Edit: Oh, and I probably need to make like 10 sheets for random creations. Uhg. I'll have to get around to that at some point

If you haven't noticed my status update, on Friday I'm leaving for Canada and I'm not sure how active I'll be. We'll have to see.

But over the next two days I'll try to be a busy bee.

Ah, I've been meaning to ask if you've read a book called Things Fall Apart. Your story of the Eskandars recalled memories of that story; it's actually somewhat similar.
