The Dark Side of War (HEAVY WIP)

Alright, guys. My idea here is that all of the characters are soldiers of a fictional nation. They reside in a border guard station on the north edge of said country, defending it against its sworn northern enemies. This RP will focus on character interaction, the psychological effects of constant battle and isolation, and the concept of patriotism. The good may die, the bad may win. In the end, war does not determine who is right, only who is left.

That's all I've got so far. I just want to see if there's interest before I put a lot of work into it.

@Nevix Sorry to ask an obviously stupid question, but is this RP then going to be a modern setting (or, at least, can we go pew pew with guns) or is it going to be a more medievalish setting? Both are fine and I'm definitely interested but this was something I was curious to.

In the meantime, you guys might want to start working on your characters. I'm leaving the character sheets fairly open-ended. Make sure you include a name, age, rank (American Military please, we can only have one officer) and personality. You can make rough outlines of your backstory, but don't get too specific yet. Equipment might also be nice, as well as specializations. If there are any glaring holes in our roster (i.e. no one wants to be the Communications guy) I'll round it out. For equipment, think what we might have twenty years from now. Gauss is definitely going to be a thing, and drones might play a large role as well, but that's up to you guys.
