However, they must also have the user's IP address in their heads when writing the name, thus ensuring that non-mods cannot use the Ban Note.

Potential Ban Note users must give control of their member rights to Mahz, the God of Bans, in order to see a member's IP address above their user name.

After writing the username, a mod can also write the length of the ban. If the length is not specified, the member will be permabanned in 40 seconds after writing the name by default.
