Hmm...okay. To clarify: Virtuoso's on the same planet Cee is and is simply using a gigantic drill thing to core it out elsewhere?

Gotta admit, I've never seen someone just...outright ignore the other guy's intro post before. That is defo a new one. Okay...will see what I can do for figuring out a reason Cee missed a planetary exploder drill operating in the system on her initial approach. May take a short bit.

@DLL I didn't ignore it, I just couldn't work with it. It would have put Virtuoso in the middle of some random dead civilization without any real reason to be there. So I put him by the crashed ship so your post wasn't entirely moot, to at least clarify that the two of them were on the same planet and vaguely the same area.

Edit: By this I don't mean to say your post is bad, that's not at all what I'm saying. I'm actually saying that your post was too good. In the regards that you didn't leave me an actual opening other than just BEING there.

I’m making an effort to be as clear and unambiguous as I can when writing, but I’ve been playing Cee pretty much exclusively with people who know her almost as well as I do for years now. I’m used to leaving some things unsaid for the sake of story flow since the usual suspects know it all already; been a while since I’ve been writing in a forum with mostly-strangers. Still shaking some of the rust off the ol’ big-board skillz. If I forget to describe something, or if something catches you weird and you’re not sure what’s going down, do lemme know.

@DLL Yeah, I'll be able to post tonight, and probably tomorrow morning. They had me scheduled every day from afternoon to night. I get home about midnight, I have a sleep disorder so I wind up in this near incoherent stupor for the next few hours till I fall asleep in the morning. And I wake up about an hour before I go to work. So I rarely have time to do anything if I don't have a day off.

@LeeRoy As a note for the future: both the earlier Krakatoa and these Pompeii shots were intended as piercing beams, not explosive bursts. I apologize for not making that clear enough, but yeah - the Krakatoa is a one-shot monster-killing radiation sword, and the Pompeii are gamma lasers ('graser', in DLL shorthand). No need for adjustments at this stage, I'll roll with it, but if the weapons come up again, they're penetrating bolts and not blasts.

Heh, trust me - you'll know if Cee starts blasting.

Anyways. Will get to the IC reply as soon as I can manage. Shouldn't be more than a day or two at most, I hope.

Hm.

Cee has a gargantuan library of spells, weapons, techniques, and other stuff she can call up mostly on a whim. I tried to convey that in the sheet, but if I were to try and create a comprehensive itemized list of everything she has, it'd probably run another twenty pages and still not really be comprehensive. Is that going to be an issue?

EDIT:: Gonna try something new in the IC, once I get it written up. Hopefully will alleviate the issue in the future.

@LeeRoy A'ight, IC is up. Any technique/weapon/whatsit marked with a '*' is given a brief(ish) OOC description in the hiders at the bottom of the post. Hard to fit all of that information properly into a readable IC storytelling flow (though I do try), and I just kinda refuse to build a twenty-page library of junk ahead of time when any such document would be obsolete three fights later. Hopefully this is a workable compromise? Lemme know if I missed anything.

I figure that you knowing my schedule should help you out. I'm NORMALLY off Mondays and Thursdays. But I'm an Intermittent, so my schedule sometimes bounces.
