I've heard it's really hard to learn though. My sister tried to learn it because she and I are primarily Russian and my grandpa (completely Russian) knew some, but she stopped rather quickly XD

I've heard its the Cyrillic that's hard to learn. After that, it's supposed to be easy to get the Russian grammar and such.

The same goes for ancient/modern Greek. Once you've got the alphabet down the actual language is pretty sensible.
