Alright folks, I've had in idea bouncing around in my head for awhile, and before I put keys-to-screen as it were, I thought I'd check here to see if there was any interest. For those of you unaware of what Discworld is, it is a book series created by the immortal Sir Terry Pratchett, based upon a fantasy-style world that is a flat disk, set atop four massive elephants, perched on the back of a space-faring sea turtle. It is satire at its finest, in my opinion, using fantasy tropes to their extreme to point out how ridiculous certain aspects of both fantasy and real life are.
The plot of said RP would mainly revolve around the city of Ankh-Morpork, a bustling, stinking, oozing metropolis on the coast of the major continent of the Disc. Murmurs are stirring that an heir to the ancient line of city-kings has appeared, and the corrupt, but very efficiently ruling Lord Vetinari may feel threatened by this usurper to his rule (Though some would say his office is the original usurpers, but pay them no mind, they're on their way to the scorpion pits anyway).
YOU would play as an ordinary citizen of the city, be they human, dwarf, troll, vampire, zombie, were-beast, gargoyle, liberated golem, goblin, Nobby Nobbs or gnoll. The time will come to choose a side in the coming 'political debates', which may be a good deal more bloody than any party hopes for...
I'm not sure if I want this to be a Free play or Casual, and am open to suggestions either way, as well as any suggestions you may have otherwise.
