Okay, so before we get into plotting some things out, do you have any questions about what I have so far for the plot?

I think I'd need to know what the symptoms are if the human's been without vampire blood for a while. There's probably much more to ask, but this is the first thing that came to mind.

Well, when a human has had vampire blood, they get stronger and faster than normal. When off it those powers start to diminish, then they get even weaker, start to shake, lose their appetite, get a fever, it's almost like they get a flu. But, if it gets past that part, they'd experience that they are easily wounded, even scratching an itch can cause them to bleed or a particularly hard touch can cause a bruise, they could also experience terrible dehydration and organ failure.

So the blood is essentially a trap, then. I can see that being used by my character as he hides the downsides from the unwary until they get rebellious. Are there ways in place to hide the fact that vampires only can get out at night? If not, I'd imagine my character would masquerade as a human club owners, to scope out more toys for his twisted games.

I kind of like the idea that the vampire owns a club. Maybe only for the reason that I want my character to work as a bar tender at a club. If he is more into being a vampire, then it might just be that he's more prone to acting like a classic vampire. I do want to allow vampires to be able to go out into the sun. I'm thinking it's direct sunlight that burns them up. So, being in the shade can allow them to walk around unharmed. Rainy and cloudy days can also allow them to walk freely then as well.

So they can pass up for the more gothic kind of humans without problem, got it. :)

Yeah, basically. It's still more easy for them to just go out at night, since weather isn't totally predictable and the shade could be inadequate.

I can see that! :)

Do you prefer to develop the characters as we go along or would a character sheet be more to your liking?

I prefer to develop the characters as we go along.

Also, we should discuss how the characters first meet. I'm thinking either they meet before my character kills the first vampire that he was living with and my character decides to go to your character after the withdrawal symptoms start getting bad. Or they could simply meet through the human applying for a job at the club.

Also another thing we need to discuss is what happens that makes the two change their mind. I was thinking that it'd be kind of fun if it was something like my character getting into a fight, your character goes to stop it only to get attacked, and my character steps in the way to take the damage instead.
