Just a little roleplay that takes place in the Half-Life 2 Universe in the famous City 17. Probably just before the Battle of City 17. If you know stuff about Half-Life you'll know what I'm talking about.
I was just wondering if there's an audience for this sort of roleplay.
A dystopian future where earth is ruled by a "benevolent" alien force known as the Combine, who are on an unseen universal crusade. Humans have been augmented into the enforcers on Earth, the Combine themselves are never seen by the populace, and are only referred too as "Our Benefactors" in propaganda messages. In the game, the player saves the world and stuff, and the events in the game may happen in the roleplay if it picks up enough speed. We may even get to the Battle of City 17. But I would like the RP to focus on the things before that, the life of a citizen living under the thumb of the Combine. The players could play as a human enforcer, a resistance member, or maybe one of the various aliens that have found their way onto the planet via other means that can be explained in the lore of the game or in the RP.
If you're knew to Half-life and have never played the games, don't worry, I'll explain it decently enough in the RP.
