Personality:
Felix's entire personality can be summed up in one word: solipsism. He is sure that the entire world is a dream that he his having, and as such, he is the god of this dream. This belief -- or, in his mind, this fact -- has turned him into a man of supreme self-confidence, always sure of himself and never doubting. While in most cases, such a mindset would have caused disasters, for Felix, it has turned him into a paragon of human achievement. Whatever he does, he does to perfection. It doesn't matter the art or the discipline -- martial arts, marksmanship, painting, acrobatics, engineering, or even cat whispering -- if he decides to do it, then it is done. Success is not a question of how or when -- simply of "why" as in, "why should I even bother?" Still, just because he could do anything does not mean that he wants to. He has come to the realization that some actions do nothing but bore him -- and there is nothing he hates and fears more than a world filled with boredom.
Consequently, this also means that he takes everything in the world to be for his enjoyment, as since this is a dream, he fully intends to take advantage of it and have fun, whenever and however he wants.
On the other hand, he also considers other people to be a part of his precious dream, and though he considers them to be merely figments of his imagination, he believes that to enjoy this dream to its fullest, and to do that, he has to let all the parts of his dream that he likes to come together -- to that end, the care he displays for the "characters" he feels affection for is both intense, and legitimate.
History:
Born in Boston and raised in an orphanage, Felix was an odd and silent child. He would always sit away from everyone else, and then watch them quietly, observing them. It was around this time that he began to believe that the world was nothing but his imagination -- or more accurately, his imagination was the world. He did what he want and live however he wanted, all with a smile on his face. He dropped out of college when he realized it wasn't as fun as high school and jumped from one job to another, always excelling but never lasting. He did whatever interested him at the time -- the circus, race cars, military, and at one point even worked as a hired killer and quickly became notorious for being able to kill anyone.
He was back home during the outbreak, as he was attending the wedding of a friend. As chaos gripped the nation, Felix got up from bed, smiled, and patted himself on the back. "This is an interesting dream," he thought. Then he stepped out, and did what he did best -- have fun.
Perhaps, in all of the world, Felix is the only one who is truly enjoying the current state of the world, and who is not even the least bit psychopathic.
