[OOC] Experimental Army

Scientist have found a way to give human unusual abilities. The government has agreed to fund this experiment. The question was where to get volunteers. After much discussion it is agreed to offer the option to young criminals as away to avoid jail and turn their lives around. As one of these young criminals you will have to learn to control their powers. If you survive the training you will became a solider defending the United States. The teens are kept an apartment complex that was build under ground. The idea was to give them enough space not to kill each other. It was understood that the teens would do exactly what they were told or they would be destroyed. They would be tested and educated. It was hoped that they would be the soldiers of the future saving others.

1. This is my RP. What I say goes. If you disagree with something we can discuss it.
2. If you are unsure about something ask I will answer to the best of my ability.
3. If you have a suggestion let me know I welcome suggestions
4. No fighting in the OOC. I don't mind discussions and disagreements.
5. Use the mention button. It helps people know your talking to them. Especially me ;)
6. Internal thoughts are great but please make them appear different from your spoken words. I don't care if you use color or italics.

Power: Enhanced Perception (Time appears to slow for him, giving him much more time to think and react to any situation. He can perceive a high velocity bullet moving as slow as a centimeter per second if he concentrates.)

Appearance:

Bio: Eryx was arrested at a young age for violent outbursts, he is cold and uncaring yet completely honest. He has never spoken a lie to protect himself. He was always a fast thinker, using this to get into and win fights, stealing, and calculating how to get away with theft. After stealing from the wrong people there was an unfortunate event where in his cold mind he executed an enemies child in public and resisted arrest, laughing despite mutilating and maiming police. He was sitting and waiting to enter deaths row when he turned 18, but was instead taken in for testing...

Property Absorption
Ryan can absorb the properties of the materials, whether liquid or solid, without transforming into the material. He can expel the material in whatever form he pleases (i.e. if he absorbs a concrete based propety, he can shoot concrete blocks/slabs/whatever). However, he will gain the negative weaknesses of the material he absorbs.

Bio: Not much is known about Ryan's past. Ryan doesn't even know himself. All he knows so far is that when he was younger, around five or six, he fell and hit his head. When he hit his head, he activated his property manipulation. His parents were horrified, as they watched him play with his power dangerously. Ryan would absorb rocks and launch rocks everywhere. As Ryan grew up, his parents strictly forbid him from showing his powers to people. One day he disobeyed this rule when he turned 18. Ryan was robbed in an alley. He had no plan B, so he absorbed metal off of a metal barrel nearby. He then made a metal pole and fought back. This attracted police attention. He was then sent to the place that would be known as the Experimental Army Program.

Name: Julia Reed
Age: 18
Power: Heat Manipulation - Julia is able to control the kinetic energy of atoms, thus creating high temperatures to melt or burn objects by touching them. Her resitance to heat increases with her abilities.
Appearance:
Bio: Julia lived a normal life. She had caring parents, a younger sibling, who went on the same school as she did, and many friends. She was a lighthearted and cheerful person until she met a man with the ability to set things on fire. Julia never talks about this person or how he passed his ability on to her, but after this event, her life changed. She wasn't able to control her power, thus she burned everything she touched. At the end, there was no familiy for her to return to, no home or friends. It drove her insane. She ran away, leaving a trace of burned areas behind her. Finally the police caught her and instead of being locked up for her life, she joined the Experimental Army Programm.
