Moeasha could understand now why so many of the guild's members were wary of Azerus, but she could also tell he was powerful and able to hold his own. Taking the coins, she made her way inside to procure a room. The innkeep was asleep on his counter, so Moeasha lightly poked him. The innkeep startled awake, shouting.

Apologizing to him, Moeasha asked for two rooms and quickly was paying for it and being shooed away. Taking the keys, she waited by the door for Azerus to return so she could tell him his room number.

@RaeoftheLight A man soon approached Moeasha, but it wasn't Azerus.
A large burly fisherman brandishing a heavy club like it infused him with authority staggered up to her and spoke with the clear heavy scent of whiskey on his breath.
"What'cha think ya doing here lassie?" he aggressively questioned.
"I think ya one of tha's wizards com to cause us trouble again!"
He uses his size to lean over her as he intimidatingly stares her in the eyes.

Moeasha wrinkled her nose at the stench of alcohol, but smiled up at the man in a placating way.

"Hello sir. I am just waiting for my....friend...to return. Then we will be sleeping and hopefully tomorrow we can rid your town of the dangerous monster!" Moeasha discreetly placed her hand over the top of her water skein, ready to pop it off if the man raised his club against her. But Moeasha was trusting, so she wasn't going to immediately act defensive.

The man recoiled as he let out a deep bellowful chuckle.
"Arghhh ha, you puny li'l girl can't get rid of our sea monster!"
He chuckles some more before his face grows red and angry.
" AND WE DONT WANT IT GONE ANYWAY!"
He practically spits whiskey on her as he shouts.

Calming himself he sways a little as he continues his speech.
"Look, I don't know who keeps hiring you wizards but your worst then da monster. Dun worry bout waiting for ya friend, my buddies will look after him good, jus get you pretty little self out of mah town."

He bats the club on his palm as he lets out a deep burp. "well sugar?"

Moeasha glares at the man, her usually calm blue eyes turning harsh.

"What do you mean, you do not want rid of it?" Moeasha pops the cap of her pouch off, beginning to grab control of the water inside. "And your 'buddies' plan on doing what to my friend?" Moeasha lashes out, her water arching through the air, slicing a small cut into the man's hand. It isn't enough to seriously injure, but the shock of it caused his club to fall. Moeasha quickly kicked the club away, then formed her water into the shape of a dagger, pointing it at the man's nose.

@RaeoftheLight her sudden moves left him speechless and dumbfounded. Wide-eyed he stood in shock, gasping as he frantically tried to figure out what was going on.

"Damn all you wizards!"
He eventually managed to spit the words out as he fearfully backed away.
"Wizards are why it's here and the on'y reason it keeps comin back! Ever since your kin showed up ere it's been giving us trouble...

He spits on the floor and slowly backs away.
"Just Don't go making it angry with any flashy light ok!"

..."please"

Moeasha made her water flow back inside her pouch, watching the man sadly.

"I assure, we only wish to make it leave. Flashing lights? I will keep note. Now, where are your friends who you said will harm mine?" Moeasha moves forward, not wanting the man to leave if he has information she could use. She knows Azerus could keep his own, but the townsfolk here seem more afraid than dangerous. She doesn't want Azerus to make the situation worse!

@RaeoftheLight It was right then that a sudden explosive crack of lighting burst a splintering hole in the wall behind the burly man.
Azerus voice could be heard trailing on the wind traveling through the new window.
He shouted threats and with each escalation of his voice, a wave of light longed the damaged makeshift window.

Clearly he hadn't got the same memo, Or had he...
The sailor had fallen to the floor, his face white with fear.
"oh no, oh no, oh no!" he sobs as he scampers down the stairs.

Next a bell echoes out loudly and the cobblestone paths are almost instantly filled with commotion as people almost magically appear and all flee in the same direction.

Azerus distant threats fade amongst the noise.

The bell continues to chime out, people continue to rush to safety, something stirs in the distant water.

Oh no!, Moeasha thinks before quickly dashing through the newly created hole, hoping Azerus would be easy to find. With everyone rushing about Moeasha doubted it. Coming out onto a new street, Moeasha was shoved aside by a rushing citizen, slamming into a rough brick wall of a building. She winced at the feeling of open skin, but didn't have time to treat it. If that man said it was a sea monster, maybe I can head it off at the shoreline! Moeasha decided to leave Azerus to himself, knowing he would probably show up soon anyway and not wanting to waste the time dodging the rude people in the streets.

The citizens evacuation was well practised and timed, all had retreated to the safety of the heavily fortified stone church before the sea shore line began to ripple. All of the citizens except one distressed panicked mother.
"ELLA!"
She screamed out over and over again. The mother was not on the shores but Moeasha could see her young daughter was.
The child stumbled innocently along the long creaking wooden jetty, chasing a very scared kitty to its end.

Multiple lines traveled just below the waters surface, rushing in on a wave.
When it became to shallow to hide in, five massively large serpent like heads burst out from the sea in a giant spray of ocean water.
The following oncoming rushing wave threatened to steal the child and cat right of the jetty.
Meanwhile the multi headed monster snapped around wildly flicking its long tendril like bodies around like whips, snapping up dirt and crushing any outdoor furniture or debris it came in contact with.

Gardens were getting ruined, small shops and stalls crumpled.
Fishing boats destroyed.

Azerus was nowhere in sight but the sounds of a scuffle softly echoed of distant walls.

Thinking fast Moeasha skidded to a halt a few stone throws away from the child. Raising her hands up she pushed her will into the water, making the waves that were about to crash upon the child halt in the air. Grunting, Moeasha pushed her arms forward, and in answer the waves flowed back down into the sea.

"RUN!" Moeasha screamed at the child as she halted another wave, face pinched in concentration, arms straining with her magic.

The child looked around confused.
"Mommy" she cried hearing her own name being called out. Unaware she was just saved.
Ella had began following the direction of her mothers voice, her feet slapping the cold floor as she raced through the darkness towards safety, when the monster slammed down only meters away from the young girl.
The impact and surprise took her off her feet. Stunned she sat shocked in the dirt.
The giant tendril recoiled and looked as though it would slam down again right on top of the child!!!

Moeasha quickly forced the water she was holding up to lash out at the monster, wrapping around the monster's tendril and jerking it backwards. The creature's momentum brought it down on a,luckily empty, nearby shop. Wincing, Moeasha dropped her hold on the water. She ran to the child, standing in front of her, keeping eyes on the monster. "Hurry," Moeasha urged the young girl, "go to your mommy!"

The young girl quickly obeyed. Moeasha will notice that the tendril didn't act or move quite as expected. It didn't resist the opposition she posed upon it, it seemed as though it wasn't even aware.

Suddenly the sky lights up as a bright glow emanates from behind a nearby shack.
One by one the monsters tendril like arms slap violently at that location. Dirt and debris fill the air as it heavily thunders down with attack after attack until the light fades.
In the short time that the sky was illuminated Moeasha will notice none of the tendrils actually held a head. There were no eyes, ears or mouths.
Just a silver band wrapped tightly around near the slimy dark green tendrils end.

Where is Azerus? Moeasha silently asked herself. She hope whatever light had happened, Azerus was not hurt, nor anyone else. Moeasha waited a few moments, but with no sign of Azerus she quickly moved into action, running down to where she had seen the tentacles tied together. It was worth examining, and she wanted to know what was driving this monster.

Each long faceless tendril was spread apart from the others and disappeared into the water approximately 6 meters away from its nearest counterpart.
Beneath the surface the dull shadows could be seen all converging in a singular location much further and deeper down on the ocean.

With all the lights extinguished the beast begins to settle, swaying gently in the waves as it's tendrils hover about auspiciously.
Suddenly a blinding bright glow burns in the darkness and begins charging towards Moeasha until the beasts tendrils come plummeting down shaking the earth as they crush it, extinguishing it in a thick cloud of dust, dirt and debris.

Moeasha gasped as the quaking ground unexpectedly made her fall. She got back up and looked at the water, watching where the tendrils emerged from. She seemed to be hesitating about something, then shook her head avidly. She turned back to the monster, jerking her hands to cause a jet of water to come from the ocean and slice a tendril in half.

The creature sliced open as expected, maybe even a little easier. It showed no signs of evasion or even pain then after. It's innards didn't look living at all, more solid like a really large vine. Something wasn't right...

It was even more prevalent when everything below the clean cut simply fell away lifeless to the floor. Meanwhile everything above the cut dangles in the air suspended by the metallic band wrapped around it.

The monster was not a monster at all.
These strange silver bands merely manipulated the giant lifeless tendrils.
But who manipulated the bands?

Azerus had seemingly come to the same conclusion. After the last tendril struck the ground he had gripped it as it flung him into the air.
The tendrils with no sense of touch didn't notice as he ran and jumped along them.
He soon discovered the bands were tough and could not be broken without the use of magic.
His arm lights up and he attacks the band he was standing upon.

As before the tendril falls lifeless beneath him. At the same time two of the others react to the light and swipe at him. He continues to jump and bounce off them while throwing back his own attacks. He is kept busy by the two tendrils attacking him and doesn't notice the other one, along with the floating one, heading up deeper into the town. Destroying Everything in their path.

What ever it was it seemed angry now and set on punishing the town.

Moeasha watched Azerus work, then decided to let him take on those tendrils as she moved to save the town. She was already tiring from the amount of magical energy she had spent bending such large amounts of water to her will, but she powered through her exhaustion. She called up another wave of water and had it slice at the band on the tendril, making it fall away and rendering one of the appendages useless. The second one swiped a village house into smithereens, and Moeasha hurried to stop it. It was too far from the water's edge though, so she couldn't call upon the ocean to aid her. Quickly she jumped atop the tendril, hanging on to the band tightly, using the water in her container to slice back and forth like a saw. It was slow going, as it was only a small amount of water.

Max walks in all beat up"Sup"he says in a voice that sound like if you were sick
