A voice came from behind Devin: "Excuse me for wanting to make a good first impression." The comment had put Blaze in a sour mood. Very rarely did he clean himself up. Seeing it was a guy had made him believe he had wasted his own time; in his head "Devin" with an i was a feminine name.

Devin turned around at the sound of a guys voice. He assumed this was Blazed, he was shorted than Devin, but the guy looked alright. He did have this scowl on his face, but whatever they were already late. "Sorry about that, just hate being late to stuff. How about we start our 'start' over then?" He said as he stuck his hand out to Blaze.

"Name is Devin, nice to meet you." Devin said with a smile. He could only speculate as to how this partnership was gonna go.

"Don't worry children. Everyone will get out. This is just a test to see what your current level of residence is. You will fight each other as well as witches and other creatures found in the death realm. You will have one hour all though I suspect most of you will be out before time is up. You are out if you are hit three times." The grim reaper explained as he floated above them.

Blaze hesitantly took Devin's hand, shaking quickly before letting his hand fall back down to his side. "Blaze," he introduced briskly. The young man was still jaded about finding another partner, and it showed.

Devin accepted exactly what he got from Blaze. Baby steps, Sid said, baby steps. Devin put on a genuine smile after clearing his head. "Well lets get inside, Sid is gonna have my tail for being late anyways, so lets get going hate to miss the beginning." He said as he started to walk up the steps and inside. Once inside, he stepped in and the classroom was empty, but the moment he and Blaze took a seat they got teleported to some dark room with everyone else, and the Grim Reaper explaining the challenge. "Awww shit, well you ready to work, seems like they wanna test us out on the first day, and I don't know about you but I don't wanna die."

He smiled at her words. They did make a great team, and they could only get better. Then Lord Death started to speak. When he announced what would happen inside this this 'Labyrinth' got a little worried, this always happened to him before, Holland and himself went into battle, it was just a natural reaction, but when the got down to business, she blew him away every time. "You ready for this, seems like everyone else is?"

Holland listened to the Grim Reaper talk about what they would be doing and bit her lip her nerves building. She knew they could handle the fighting and all that, Holland was mainly worried about the labyrinth. She had been in one before with her parents with training and solving mazes was not easy for. They confused her and she got easily lost in them because everything smelled, sounded, and felt the same. She couldn't see souls that far away so she couldn't use that to get to the end of the labyrinth. So that made her worried for that part of the test they were being given. When Lewis asked her if she was ready for this she looked at him and smiled although it wasn't the brightest smile though. "I'm ready for the fighting and taking down enemies but I'm worried about the maze, they are the one thing that gets the best of me... I'm not sure how I'm going to remember where I turned if I need to retrace my steps. I guess I'm gonna need your help with not only fighting but navigation too." Holland told him her smile growing slightly.

Maria just smiles.
"If they just left them there, what was the point of letting them be here? Why not just make us all go into an arena and fight? They are the peace makers. And they are our trainers. Even if we don't feel we should trust them, we still should hope there's some form of safety here. Just like us," she punches his shoulder smiling. "Even if I think you're going to get us both killed, it's your job as my miester to make sure we don't. And I trust that, because I can feel it." She presses her hand against his chest and pats the spot.

Charles sighs some at Maria glancing back when the reaper says everyone will be getting out, then looks at her again as she talks "..don't know how you could so openly trust Death.. I mean it's in the name" he states shaking his head. he'd bring his hand up and put it on hers that she put on his chest looking at her with a sigh and smiles slightly, then looks around them "..I wonder how stable this place is" he says as some yellow electricity seems to spark around his free hand once before the yellow electricity vanishes, a visual affect of soul menace.

Zero rubs back of his head "..looks like we'll have to deal with a lot of a mess.." he says with a shake of his head "guess we should be ready at a moment's notice" he says as he takes Mia's hand, holding it so should be required he could turn weapon form without any delay.

@olcharlieboiMaria smiles feeling the electricity flow into her and she presses against him. It felt safe to be here. His question rolled over in her head.
"Death is something that is peaceful to her. It's something celebrated. Yes it causes hurt for the living, but death is something that is like the ending of a book. Not every end is going to be satisfying, but every story has to end." She smiles at her partner and she clasps her hand in his and transforms. She feels her mind slip back and set firm in his hand. Her black blade outstretched. She feels chills run through herself. She was ready.

"Could be worse," Blaze remarked. He could list a thousand things that were worse... and 941 of them hurt. He listened attentively now.

I watch maria transform into weapon form, and I look at my hand which it was holding by Cara I guess she was ready too, and to be honest I'm ready too, I close my eyes and transform into my weapon form.

Charles would look at Maria in her weapon form looking her over some then running a finger across one of the flat sides to the blade admiring it. "really look pretty amazing" he says not really sure what to say much about her weapon form. he knew he'd get use to it, he looked at the maze in front of them "...we will push past everything that gets in our way" he states.

A huge roar echoed through the maze. The beast wouldn't be able to be seen but it could definitely be heard. And felt. The room seemed to shake every time the creature moved. Where the beast was would be unknown until they ran into it. When they reached the beast it would look like it was made of of hundreds of souls smooshed together. It was the first of many challenges the group would face. Would they work together to defeat it or would one team alone be able to destroy the beast.

Cara feels her transform, she doesn't need to look her way. Cara smiles when she does look down, at her partner. Her blade reflecting the light, she wasn't heavy, but she was a bigger blade she was used to. But that was okay, it just means there can be more damage to the other person.

Maria feels him caress her blade and she was glad she was in her weapon form. She felt the blush across her own face, the heat tingling through her body. She feels his sure soul, confident, strong. She smiles and settles into the shadow of his soul.
This should be interesting.

Mia jumps slightly at the touch of Zero's hand, she wasn't expecting him to hold her hand without warning, but she doesn't resist and lets him hold her hand. "Yeah...What kind of weapon are you anyway?" She asks.

Charles looks towards the sound "sounds like a challenger has stepped up to the plate.." he states then charges off into the maze, yellow electricity would seen emit from his feet for a moment allowing him to launch himself forward using soul menace to push against the ground.

Zero looks to Mia with a smile "well I'm a type of scythe" he tells her "one with some nice additions" he chuckles "including a chain which can cause me to be used for long ranged attacks instead of just for close and medium range" he states.

Maria felt like she was soaring, his soul flowed in and out of her like a current. She felt goosebumps up and down her body. She's ready, she will fight for her meister. They were together till the end now.

Cara chases behind them, she kicks off the wall and bounces ahead of them. She closes her eyes, using soul creep to map out anything alive and where and how it was. She takes the opposite way the others and her sister are taking, wandering through. She opened her eyes and skidded to a stop, feeling the walls. Something in the walls were humming. She raises scarlet above her head and brings her blade down in between the ground and the wall, that thin line. Checking around her, she pulled up, wedging it and chipping the tile. She pulls scarlet away and the walls start to shift as well as the ground. The walls moving from each other, the grinding is ear piercing. The door opens, snarls deep inside behind them rip out through the empty air. She hums, "we're off to see the wizard" as she heads through.

I feel kinda relax in weapon form even tho Cara is swinging me around, everything is good, is just I never be hold before, I feel her soul, I smile and hum with her.
