Well I'm probably logging off shortly myself. ^^; But we can take pause and shorten our posts for maybe 2-3 over dinner if we want Kurama and Botan to talk after dinner and just keep Shiori's bit to during dinner?

I don't think he would investigate it but he'd have made note of it and it got buried in the records at least.

Hmmm. I think the 2-3 demons wouldn't appear tomorrow then if you want there to be a big event. Maybe there's some kind of play or recital at the school at night? Botan/Kurama step outside to get air and the demons make their move to the crowd? The demons go to find a new target and notice someone with Kurama? Maybe they target or plan to target Botan? We will need to think of something to have one of them give Kurama/Botan information without it being a lot, when they do confront each other. But then again we can figure more details out when we're both not so tired.

Aww. Well, it was bound to end sometime ;c if Botan and Kurama are going to enforce the former's backstory, it could be that Shiori talks about Botan's classes, if she's in any clubs, if Shuichi's tutored her once or twice in the recent past, what kind of boys she might like--Kurama will let her have this, because she has never had this opportunity before. I wonder if Botan will play along and give a legitimate answer.

Let's talk about this another time. We have too many possibilities and we're getting very lost in the details--which are many--so I think we need to get some rest and handle that another day. But we dun good Gen, we dun good.

I do think Botan would get a kick out of having a conversation with another woman. Sure, there's Yukina or Genkai or Keiko or Shizuru, but Shiori is so nice and normal and makes Botan forget about how complicated her life really is. And I think Botan would try to inject some truth in her answers, as best she could anyway so it's easier to live the lie. It's gonna really nag her as time goes on. </3 shiori is so nice and she's lying to her.

We have figured out a lot of good stuff already and we don't need to skip to the next day yet so we're not too pressed for time. I mean, the demons don't NEED to appear the next day, that might be risky anyway. We get to deal with school drama anyway, either way.

I didn't consider that. It must be nice being able to have a conversation without demons and spirit detectives and all that shit popping up. Just a, "How was your day at school, Botan? I hope Shuichi isn't letting you struggle along!" she says it super loud so he hears it in the other room xD what sort of truths does she suggest to Shiori, who doesn't know any better?

Ooooh right I almost forgot about that. A couple days of the school drama, the rumors, the envy, the confessions Botan gets at her locker on day 2 xD

SO: The meal was tonkatsu, looks like this. They are seated at that kotatsu, I think I just called it the table though :3 Shiori's at the head, Botan to her right, Kurama to her left. When dinner is concluded, and after Botan answers any other string of flattering questions related to Botan's status with men, we can have Kurama and Botan have another quick talk before bed. Or, we can fast forward it. It's mostly just for final thoughts on what they gathered today. Maybe Koenma could have gotten back to her about the data she sent before they retire?

I just googled Japanese Dinners and chose what looked fucking amazing. I have never had more than pack ramen so I'm sure that I am missing out. Yes to getting information later. You could start us off at arriving, where we get the student body's first impressions of these two arriving at school together. We can make a schedule up now; not sure how different the Japanese education routes go. I vote gym being near the end of the day tho XP

You are SO missing out but a lot of people are. It's a shame but quality Japanese food is tough to come by. :/ I guess I'm spoiled with my ramen shops and sushi joints around me. I'd love to treat you to a bowl though, you'd never go back to cup ramen. *drools* Mmm...miso ramen is my fave though, nothing beats miso. But yes a schedule.

Maybe I'll tact to the CS tab so we can use it to keep track of important side info?

Maybe one day a week they can substitute a class or two for something fun like say Cooking or Computers? Something with more interaction between the classmates?

After some sleep and going back to your schedule, your idea of free time for interaction is good. I think Gym could be that class, since it's encouraging health, teamwork, and all that stuff? I'm not sure how accurate we want to create the full Japanese educational experience, but it sounds like you have a good setup already. With lunch being an hour and gym being a chance to interact between exercises and activity, do you think it's spread out enough to offer enough 'events' taking place with Goshikuro's lackey(s)?

Sleep is always good. But then again, since I just got my PS4, I need to manage how much time I spend there and here. ^^; And with my brother buying me Star Ocean 5 soon...I'll be busy but then again, it's not fun rushing a game for hours and hours...anyway!

We probably want to re-sum up what we want to do with Goshikuro in terms of pacing and who he has working under him. I think we wanted Botan and Kurama to settle into a routine prior to something happening next? Didn't we want another suicide happen?

I believe we wanted them to settle into their routine for a few days to almost a week. It was going to be a bit of filler, nothing more than handling their new status in the school, and getting along together. It's the first time they've really been alone together for long periods, so without the threat of danger we can use those days to help them get along even better than they already are. I think Goshikuro's lackey would begin to affect another chosen student during the week at some point, which Kurama and/or Botan pick up the signs or sense, and move to apprehend the one behind it all. OR, he could try affecting Botan, and Botan can either resist the effects or Kurama can stop her before she absentmindedly does something reckless. She DOES stand out.

And yeah I recall that now. I do like the idea of Botan being a new target. Maybe because the lackey thinks she might be a potential threat to its master. And if it can affect Botan, then it must be gathering more power and influence while Goshikuro continues to get stronger and heal up. In terms of filler, we were thinking of have Botan learn a few tricks? Maybe just one basic move "just in case"? Also we were thinking of getting her and him involved in a gardening club maybe? There's also the possibility of them sneaking out to deal with low rank demons in the general neighborhood.

Botan being the unforeseen third target would not only be a twist, because neither Kurama nor Botan at the time believed it could affect them like it could a basic human, it would also let Kurama be the big hero. By saving her from another incident, word might get around about it, making him a hero (which he wouldn't really want. The guy keeps to himself.) and intensifies the way people look at them. The 'rumors' start to be seen as even more truthful. If not that, then Kurama or Botan just say that they are going out ahead of time to prevent any harassment for the other party, mostly Botan.

Botan's moves, yeah. I think I remember you saying you didn't really want her to be a plant-based combatant like Kurama. He could just teach her simple tactics in dangerous situations. Botan is a bad ass survivor girl so she won't need much in the way of that training. You could let her use that ring amplifier that let Yusuke use the Spirit Gun when he first started out?

Yes, Kurama and Botan use the gardening club as a cover to not be home so early with Shiori and to get work done without being disturbed. It's also where Botan can hone her healing talents in private. I think some guys might try to join to get closer to her, which fails no doubt.

When you say low-level demons, do you mean scrubs like little imps, or people like Rando? Because compared to Team Toguro, everything that Yusuke and the group dealt with up to that point were bottom-barrel losers xP
