All but one within this fighting force is of a goblin-like race called ninti. The ninti are cuter than most goblins, however, having portions of their body covered in diverse fur color available to them depending on their region, with long whip-like tails with a fluffy ball at the end. They have long ears and flattened heads at the top. Most goblins are depicted with long, hooked noses, while the ninti have a more dog-like face with a short muzzle and nose the same color as their face. Their eyes are often yellow, red, or orange, in that order of rarity, with diamond shaped pupils. Most are short and lanky, but diverse body types exists. Few reach over 5 feet tall while average height is around 4 feet for both males and females only being a couple inches less. They have four fingers and four toes.

Some ninti are good while others are bad, although most tend to be warlike and selfish to some degree. War between their clans is commonplace. They're not generally as intelligent as humans but are capable of communication and basic technological advances for their era. Humans often paint them all as savages on the same level as normal goblins. Ninti often hate goblins so take being called such as an insult. They can be quick to anger. The good ones have to hold themselves back at times as their aggressive nature wells up within them.

They have a very high birth rate so can suffer massive losses in battle without much damage to their society. Around 10% of their females are called lesser queens, growing in size and girth to that of human sumo wrestlers, and are extremely fertile. They can have children from multiple men and babies only need four months in the womb. Normal females do not breed until the dominant ones among them become lesser queens to replace lost ones. Greater queens control entire clans and are often old, yet still capable of reproduction. Normal female ninti sometimes take part in military endeavors, as almost all capable ninti know how to fight. They're mostly for defending villages, with notable exceptions.

They have mounts called fuga, which are like lean mountain goats with four eyes and less hair. They are slightly slower than horses in general but are very nimble, even on uneven terrain.

Name: Glott the Ambitious
Biography: Trained for war from an early age, as normal in society. He showed great strategic capabilities on the level of human generals, allowing him to take over many other clans, absorbing them under the now mighty Glendtehwa Clan. Emboldened by his success, he also turned his forces against the nearby human settlements who they had bad relations with. Some were worse than others, so he aided one of the good ones for a price, making them like a vassal, and also took a lone female baby of a town massacred by evil human armies. Naming her Leeke, she grew up as one of them and serves as a powerful and ruthless bodyguard. 19 years later, Glott is nearing retirement after a long campaign, but before he does so he wishes to use his talents to smash through the wall of the world and create a lasting legacy for his people.
Appearance: He has graying fur and a longer snout than most of his kind, making him slightly resemble a wolf. He has a well toned, ferocious looking body despite his old age. He claims he's every bit as physically fit as he ever was.
Personal equipment and skills: He has a fancy golden and purple colored musket of normal human size rather then the smaller barreled ones for most of his forces, able to wield it with ease and accuracy not common among his kind. For short range he as a long, brutal looking curved dagger that's heavy enough to carve through light armor. Although very talented and experienced, he doesn't have as much stamina as he used to and his body is on the frail side. He's more of a glass cannon who would prefer to keep things at a distance or use very quick, lethal strikes and then pull out of range. He rides their grandest fuga in medium plate armor.

Name: Leeke
Role: A highly deadly, swift opponent over almost any terrain. She can fire a bow with great accuracy or use two swords at once. She seems to have very good senses, such as when an attack is incoming, so is very good at evasion.
Appearance: A human girl with pale skin and long, wild blonde hair that reaches her knees. She looks like how you'd picture a medieval bandit, having limited armor to instead focus on mobility.
Biography: Seen as a traitor to humans, despite being raised from near birth by Glott so was never really their ally to begin with. She knows she's a tool by him, as he's very open about this fact, but he doesn't treat her badly so she actually likes him and the tribe she's a part of, willing to fight to the death to help carry out their goals.

Unit name: Glendte Tarna Bombarders
Unit role: They have short barreled muskets for less range than human muskets by a little bit. However, they are easy to wield by those of their size. Most ninti are clumsy with advanced weapons, but the Glendtehwa clan has more practice fighting humans than most so Glott's bombarders are above average talent in general. To boost numbers for this attack, many other clans sent their own forces so are more disorganized. If females do join offensive battles, this is a fitting position for them, but are only about 5%.
Appearance: They wear only light armor that cannot stop bullets, instead mainly able to stop some melee attacks who manage to get past their bullets. The armor sort of resembles samurai armor that's less protective looking.

Unit name: Glendte Tarna Berserkers
Unit role: They wear limited armor, focused on swarming enemy positions with light throwing spears and curved daggers like short swords.
Appearance: They dress akin to bandits with some leather armor, but a lot of bare skin. A lot of other clans fall under this role, as they are more cannon fodder for the less experienced ninti.

Unit name: Glendte Tarna Light Cavalry
Unit role: They ride on fuga, firing either muskets (around 20% have them) or using their lances/daggers to harass enemy positions before pulling back. They're not very good if they loose momentum and fight in direct combat, instead best at smashing into flanks.
Appearance: Very lightly armored fuga with only leather armor themselves.

Unit name: Glendte Tarna Armor Guards
Unit role: They wear thick armor; uncommon for ninti. They can survive musket fire in their breastplates for a couple hits before faltering unless shot at point blank. These are the elite of Glott's bodyguard and wield lances or larger swords for ones of their size.
Appearance: Wear steel armor covering most of their bodies.
