Energy Pulse is actually a ranged attack, not a close distance one. Ill still give ya something else cause you got a good roll, but I was just letting you know that Energy Pulse is a projectile.

Also Card I recommend raising Projectile Weaponry and Dex if you want to use projectile attacks (which includes ranged energy attacks).

But I DEFINITELY recommend raising Mike's Vit big time. Otherwise he will be dead the moment any Imp happens to score a max damage hit on him. Vit is probably the most important Stat ever in the history of ever. Sure stats for attacking (whether with magic or melee) are good and all, but that HP and Resilience are two good things to have.

Oh. Well most 'pulse of energy that expands from the body' move usually have a range of about a foot. So I assumed this one did too

Also, I might end up putting some points into VIT (although I'm planing to have him ask about any defensive skills the others have after the fight) what I really want to focus on are INT and WIS. My plan for him is to be the healer/support (since everyone else seems to be going the physical attacker/magic user route). That's why I want to get points into INT and WIS early, to buff up my MP and MP regeneration. Hopefully, he can eventually learn a teleporting move to make up for his crap DEX

Your Energy pulse is a projectile that shoots from your hand. Like mana bolt. Don't worry though, I think you'll like what I have in mind.

Also I posted. And yea, Card, you just got an upgraded Energy Pulse. Its better than the previous one (but it uses more MP, so if you wanna save MP and just wanna use a pure knock back then I would go with Energy Pulse rather than Force Pulse)

Posted. I managed to roll you guys a mob boss (I have a chart where I roll to see if you guys get a mob boss after the encounter, you guys got one, its a rare thing). Then of course, just playing Ren here, I managed to get really, really good Rolls for Ren (trust me, the chance of getting that experiment off were only 20%, abysmally low essentially).

He does it. Getting the spinning off, even lower (10%)

Then he gets a max damage hit on him, does the EXACT damage needed to take him out (trust me, tried to make ultimate chargy finisher attack as balanced as I could for a level 9 chara who has had the power for a month, remember that part there)

So you guys don't get to fight it... damn DX Was looking forward to it too (although that thing was freaking tough, so some people might have suffered some pretty nasty damage).

But yea, go check on yer pal there.

Ren's observe window while she is dressed as a boy will say boy (maybe once your Observe skill is much, much higher you will be able to see through the disguise, but for now you cannot, you would have read that Ren is a boy in that window)
