It's almost like a group of heroes would benefit from teaming up to fight a monster which is, at face, more powerful than them.

Kind of like Cthulhu in Fate/Zero

It isn't like Pellinore can control it, just like with Cthulhu

If a Master is fighting it, they'll die.

That said, plenty of Servants can beat it. Even some Age of Gods Servants can beat it. Even Servants who "should" be countered by it can beat it too, if they employ a certain method.

Trust me, there are plenty of ways to beat it.

Well, okay. I'm not convinced, but I'll try and go along with this.

When called from the World, the Beast Glatisant acts as the antithesis to Mystery and magic, both falling apart in proximity to the serpentine creature, making it effectively immune to the actions of Servants from the Age of Gods and magic from the same era, although this is not the only requirement. Mystery is ultimately the target of the Beasts presence, any anything which is considered blatantly beyond the Age of Man (even if it is used by a man from the same era) would simply break. The Beast is the Age of Man, and the final death of the Age of Gods. As such, only man - through their own human efforts - can truly defeat this Beast.

Physically, the creature is leagues stronger, faster and more durable than most individual servants, and with its natrual presence it becomes a presence almost inherently lethal to servants.

Okay, re-reading.

Summoned- no apparent time limit, so could be instantaneous.

No apparent cost- how much is comsumed? What does it take to summon it up?

Destroyes Magic- literaly insta-killing/destroying anything done by gods, before the age of man, just with its mere precence. (I think heaven and hell qualify)

Effectivly immune to the actions of heroes from before the age of man

Okay, so...fuck. Herc-level defence.

Only can be defeated by man though human efforts. Oh, looky here. A...weakness? So...uhh a Master with a gun could destroy it? Good news but...

Stronger, faster, more durable then most individual servents, by an order of magnatude. Tell me, when was the last time bullets ever bothered a Servent? When was the last time the Master took out a Servent? They can't. Physicaly can't.

But, hey, if I dropped a nuke on it, it would die? Okay.

No mention of controllability.

No mention of its intelligence, no mention of it's appearance, does it bite? Claw? Spit? ...Poop?

Okay, so in legends, video games. And whatnot, the things created by gods are always the stongest things. They are always pictured as above and beyond the work of man. Why? Becuase they are gods. This beast takes all that and says, "Fuck it, use your peashooters." Then goes and is eqivilant to a god, in strength itself. Lets not forget, he has one more phantasm that puts Rider's personal stats to... A rank strength...and A rank...endurance... Whaaaaaa? Along with a nice big fortress with a Master Hand also...capable of...capturing a servent...for, presumably mister Rider to come by at his leasure and mock before killing them.

....at least the knights are mob troops.

In summary, This Phantasm limits or is outright immune to the the most powerful things in legend, and is so personally powerful, that it cannot be overwhelmed by anything at the human's disposal. If mere humans could fight a servent, then they wouldn't rely on the servents like they do.

Yes, maybe some servants could fight it, but those are laughably few, and those that could, would also have to deal with Rider and his Fortress, too.

Although not mentioned, Corbonek is sealed and its manifestation destroyed for the rest of the war on the use of the Beast, and in turn the benefits of No Sane King are lost.

I don't have to mention its intelligence to you, or how it will look. You'll find out when it's used.

It's controlability is a given, considering Pellinore's riding rank.

It's stronger than you. Figure it out.

Well the Pegasus who Medusa summons is stronger as an individual than most servants. Servants are strong, but compared to most monsters they're not much physically. That's why they have noble phantasms and dirty tricks.

The Bulls Iskander used > Servants, for example. This is the Rider classes hidden strength.

However in the case of this monster, it is rather vanilla itself. It's not fast like Pegasus nor does it have gusts of wind that can flay servants, and it doesn't have Zeus manifested as lightning like Iskanders bulls. So it's kind of easy to deal with if you avoid the debuffs it gives you and the self buffs it gains.

Basically, against a mid ranked or higher Dead Apostle Ancestor, this thing is going to get destroyed.

Aye, but it's still set is soly devoted to combatting servants. It is a self-made anti-PC Phantasm.

Giving it too much credit.

Effectivly immune to the actions of heroes from before the age of man

Okay, so...fuck. Herc-level defence.

Not what that means.

Because Heroic Spirits aren't the collective sum of mankind's imagination, right?

It's not like heroes kill monsters.

No mention of controllability.

It's not controllable.

No mention of its intelligence, no mention of it's appearance, does it bite? Claw? Spit? ...Poop?

Reread.

You're overestimating Rider as a Servant, and the beast as a threat, by far.

I want you to calm down for a second, and think about this.

I haven't allowed Masters as strong as Dead Apostles for balancing.

I banned Nursery Rhyme for balancing.

I have said, several times, that this beast has weaknesses easily exploited by several of the Servants here. Technically speaking, regardless of whether they're fighting Pellinore with the beast or Pellinore with the castle, I can think of ways for every Servant in this war to win, and that's if they don't even do the rational thing and coalition.

Do not let your innate perception skew your decision-making.

Think about what this means. Think about what I've said. Think about what the Servants everyone has can do.

I'm going to be completely honest: When you insist that something is broken when I have explained that it is balanced and that every RPer here has a way of killing it with minimal losses, it is an insult to me as a GM. Please, take a step back and do as you said you would do.

Edit: These are just my opinions. If GM says so, then that is end of story. I wont argue further.

I, like hatakekuro, will play along with it, and hope that the IC will clear it up.

Well I've been paired already, so it is not like i can really do much in that regard. People need to work on their Masters quicker tbh.

Seems like a fun theme to go by. Are you going for something like alchemy then, or are you approaching it in a different lense?
