So, I see that Servants still alive today are on the banned list. The Servant I have in mind can be interpreted as still being alive, but its very ambiguous and the land he refers to going to may be a metaphor for the afterlife. Since its ambiguous in his own legend may I choose to interpret it as him having passed on?

As long as you've got one version of the legend where they died, I'll allow it. Someone like Hanuman is banned because no legitimate Hindu source will say that he died on account of the boon with Yama, and someone like Merlin's banned because we know for a fact he's alive and well in canon. So yeah, as long as they're not definitively going to still be around by their mythos's logic, it's fine. I'd recommend PMing me about the particular individual just to be safe, though.

That's fine. I have been doing this for a good few years now, so I have more character profiles than I know what to do with squirreled away here and there. There is always another Heroic Spirit. I never really understood people who are scraped for Servant ideas, when there are so many of them if you just know where to look :)

Indeed, there are quite a few ideas to choose from outside of what has been used in canon. For example, several wielders of the sword Tyrfing are easily qualified for the Berserker class alone.

I will have to get around to reading whichever saga the Tryfling sword is from. I have a passing familiarity with it just from reading Badass of the Week, but the trouble with Norse Saga's is that they are rather a lot of them. Not like the polite little packages that a lot of mythological cycles come in. (Comparatively, what with 100 difrent versions and translations I mean)

(I just discussed this with my family, because we all like the idea of my dad storing Frisbees that way. My brother said he would have washing machines for their sheer destructive potential)
