I have been busy preparing myself for my new school such as getting my housing, shopping, and placement exams finished. I think I need to take one more though I still have a lot of more stuff to do in RL. The last section of Saint J, which is the noble phantasm is not finished as I have been stuck on it since July. I cannot seem to get past writing out the noble phantasm and honestly I found that trying to finish the sheet when its almost completed to be frustrating.

Saint John the Apostle. I just need to finish the noble phantasm which is based on the Book of Revelations which is two of them but I don't have much time for it as I think that re-studying the Bible and Saint John tired me out in the process of writing and two I'm preparing for RL stuff.

Wow, well, that is a pretty broad NP with a lot of possibilities. I would imagine that you are trying to weed out ideas as to what it does, rather than struggling to come up with one. :P

So, since we are having a bit of a lull, and it seems like several people eligible to take a Servant have decided against Mastering for Sinfjotli I am thinking of possibly presenting a different Hero option that might appeal little more.

I have been at this for a good couple years now and I have a lot of Servants I have made over time, I could port one of them in/ rebuild them if I cant find them. If one of these ideas interests you and you would be interested in Mastering for them, or would just want to take a closer look at them I will message Unoedipal and see if I can make a preview for them, and possibly replace Sinfjotli if I can get someone interested.

If its not objectionable I will even take recommendations if you want a certain flavor of Hero, though there is a limit to this.

A brief list of Servants I have created in the past and could post here very quickly if anyone is interested. This is not comprehensive, as I also have other Servant ideas that I have yet to make but would be open to trying, I will include some here as well.

Some of these Servants vary wildly in strength, I will note those that are pitched as especially strong (And may not get approval to be as strong as I envision them) and those that are weak and will probably have difficulty keeping up with other Servants.

I will include Servants I have not made, but might consider making at the bottom. They will take longer though.

Lawful Good
Wong Fei Hung - martial arts master with knowledge of medicine. (Weak)

Etana - ancient Sumerian King of similar age to Gilgamesh, rides a giant divine eagle (Strong)

Chaotic Good
Rhydderch Hael - a welsh Hero with a powerful flaming sword and an utter immunity to fear.

Makoma - a powerful giant slaying demigod of Hercules like strength. (Strong)

Chaotic Good
Vasilisa the Beautiful - a fairy tail princess with powerful Noble Phantasms and strong luck.

Lawful Neutral

King Naresuan - a powerful gunslinger, martial arts master and elephant rider known for his mastery of a wide range of weapons.

Ramesses II - a powerful king and chariot archer

Neutral
Vainamoinen - an immensely powerful wizard with a potent magical voice and many ability's. Flexible, could be any class save Lancer and Assassin. (Strong)

Starkad - A giant with endurance beyond any other Norse hero and a plethora of curses and blessings from two opposing gods.

Chaotic Neutral
Gwydion - a welsh warrior and sorcerer who summons army's of trees.

Lawfull Evil
Yuknoom Che'en II - a Mayan Priest King who sacrifices his enemy's and then devours them to gain power and special ability's.

Enguerrand IV, De Coucy - Lord of Château de Coucy, one of the strongest and most magnificent castle of the Middle ages. (Weak)

Neutral Evil
Koschei the deathless - a semi immortal sorcerer with a wide range of supplementary ability's

Orochimaru - a legendary ninja, bandit and sorcerer with power over snakes.

Chaotic Evil
Skuld - a Norse princess and powerful sorceress who controls the weather, curses people and summons an endless army of undead vikings and Norse monsters. Antagonist from the Saga of Hrolf Kraki

Fafnir - a demented dwarf who transforms himself into an enormous (wingless) dragon and casts various other spells. (Strong)

Considering making -

Qin Shi Huang - Emperor of China, alchemist and master of the terracotta army. (Strong)

Grutte Pier - Massive Frisian pirate who wielded a 7 foot long sword.

King Solomun - legendary King with an Artifact throne (Strong)

Yes sort of it that part right now though I kind of know what it will do, I just can't complete it though as researching for entire month tired me out. I am considering picking another servant on the wiki or make another one I have more knowledge and drive to finish. Then finish Saint John the Apostle later on in the future for another fate rp.

Wow. That is quite the list of servants you have made and/or are considering making, Beloss. Might list some of those ideas down, if you don't mind me doing so of course, to help give me some OC servant ideas in the future. Have personally had some writer's block in the past at times in the past when it comes to making servants for a Fate Roleplay!

On a side note, however, have you managed to make contact with @Unoedipal or any of the others? No rush to anyone if real life is keeping them busy, but it has been quite the while since anyone posted in the RP or such.

@Raijinslayer Im going to either try and raise some people again or grind out a responce myself even if it is out of turn pretty soon, try and get things moving again.

@Holy Grail It's sort of a checkered list. Back in the day when Fate Zero was coming out we had a board where we made them but didn't play them, which is what a lot of these are. The others like Skuld and Naresuan have been my general standbys over the years.

Yeah feel free to grab any idea you want. I have researched all of these, though I have not read all of their legends original documents, and if you are interested I can give you some background on them. Yuknoom and Makoma especially, since you are not going to find them on wikipedia.

I forgot to put in Bodvar Bijarki, but since he's so similar to Sinfjolti he's sort of redundant in powers, though his character is difrent.

I havent made contact with Un in a while now, but I haven't really tried that hard either, so hopefully they are not that far off. :P

@Beloss Ah. I have seen a few of those sorts of places, at least when searching for servant ideas via Google at some points in the past. Those sorts of boards can be interesting and have some solid ideas, though can also produce some odd and albeit fun or even silly apps as well. For example, i once found an app where someone made Sakura Matou as a Counter guardian who was summoned as a Caster-class servant into the 5th Grail War.

Thank you for letting me jot down those ideas though. If you ever felt like PM'ing me information about Yuknoom and Makoma either here or on fanfiction.net (if you are on that site) as well, then i wouldn't mind. Having information on hand is helpfful if i want to possibly go and use one of those ideas in the future.

As for my own standby's when it has come to the Fate Roleplays i have been able to be a part of, this is actually the first one where i have used a canon servant. I usually try to come up with a new servant in each one i join, though if i ever need to fall back on something i have already made i have a Saber/Berserker "Chi You" app, most of a Jason (leader of the Argonauts) app, and have definitely enough information from Wikipedia and other sites along with part of an app to work with already in order to make either Hunahpu or perhaps Xbalanque (either one of the Maya Hero Twins basically) as a servant.

Ah, Bodvar Bijarki! Saw a little about him when i was researching Skuld once. Isn't he the individual that, when he is sleeping, can project his spirit away from his body and have it fight in the form of a bear? It has been a while since i saw his name last, so i could perhaps be wrong! XD

A quick question to everyone here though: Does anyone know of a currently living and/or new Fate Roleplay that needs members either here or on fanfiction.net? If this roleplay stays alive i will go ahead and stay, but i just ask this because i want to look at other possible options in the future in the case this roleplay officially dies.

Huh... yeah a lot of those places seem to quickly loose the point of the setting and quickly devolve into people trying to make random human characters into Servants or else their own OC's Servants who they completely made up. Not all of them though.

Cool, would you mind if I saw him? Jason's a good Servant, and I don't see him done very much. Besides people trying to invent completely new Servants out of nothing another thing you see a lot in these places are the same Heroic Spirits over and over. Vlad the Impaler, Joan of Arc and Elizabeth Bathory all seem to have crazy appeal for people, and this was even before they became Canon Servants apparently.

Yeah, Bodvar is a complete badass. He can project a giant spirit bear that's big enough to bite horses in half and is immune to sword blows. He himself is also a top notch fighter, and he can make other people stronger by having them eat a bear heart and then rubbing them in its fat with a magic ritual.

For a still living RP out there, I will look around. I have been sort of lazy about this recently. Moreover, I know a some people in dead RP's who are not happy that they are dead and may be open to joining this one. Should have called on them a long time ago. I will look around for one thats more active though I should warn you that I think part of what kills RP's like this is the tendency to migrate from one to another as the first goes through a slow point.

Sure, you can see Jason's app. I just have to find the information for the app, but i will send you what i have via a PM for you to take a look over. I was actually making Jason for a past Fate Roleplay i was a part of, with the assistance of a moderator from said roleplay, though the roleplay itself died and was deleted by the admin before i could complete and submit his app officially. Could you PM me the information for Yuknoom and Makoma as well?

I do agree that a lot of people seem to make the same servants over and over though. Among others, i have seen quite the many servant apps made for the more infamous members of the Knights of the Round Table in my browsing. Personally, though, i love to see the more "unique" apps that are made on occasion, using ideas that are uncommon or rather rare among the servant apps that seem to be a standard in many other places. For example, i once came across an app someone had made for the Australian outlaw "Ned Kelly", and in another place i found an app someone had made for "Odette" from Swan Lake. I usually enjoying finding interesting things like those on occasion.

Wow. Surprised i have not seen more Bodvar apps with that sort of thing in mind. Then again, depending on where the Grail War he could participate in would be, i would be unsure of just where he would or could get the bear heart for his master or someone else to eat in order to strengthen them! I think i read on Wikipedia, or it could be from somewhere else i do not currently remember, that Beowulf was possibly inspired and/or based on Bodvar in some sense. Then again, i wonder if anyone has made Hrolfr Kraki himself as a servant now that i think about it...

Thank you. I have been trying to look around for something, albeit that search of has been limited to fanfiction.net and this site. I don't intend to instantly abandon this place or go over to the living forum right away if i am able to find another living Fate Roleplay. I just want to try to have a "Plan B" just in case things go south, as in my own past experiences i have had forums i was involved with die and sit there for a time before anyone realizes they are actually dead. Still, if this is a slow period for this roleplay i do not know how long it will last, or if this place will eventually die to be honest about the matter. Hopefully this place does not die.

I should note though that Heroic Spirits are not typically classified with Ghosts or Wraiths, and things that work against them typically don't work nearly as well against Servants. Their body is very close to that of a living being, as in it has blood and the heart beats, they are not mere phantoms even though they are technicaly something that should not be alive and the world is trying to reject. If you were hoping to use Exorcism against them as some sort of Trump Card, you should at least add something like " Zhōng Kuí is such a powerful exorcist that even Servants can be affected by him."

I actually interpret from one of my links (books.google.com/books?id=iyvBvYoIZmsC..) (pg 122) that Zhōng Kuí can transform both into Spirit and Human form which I find perplexing for my servant since servants are summoned spirits and mine can transform into a Spirit yet is summoned as a spirit. :/

I am still trying to figure out the personal skills and reluctant making this character as I am starting school soon and this RP has not seen much activity for a while...to which I feel partially responsible for not getting up Saint Johns CS.
