The only experience I have with fishing traps is from Age of Empires. So as long as it took 100 wood to make I'd say it's fine.

Let Demund say something back to Zyloria and then you, VV, can write us to Kain. Gren's gonna be stewing over emotions and stuff but there's not really enough there at the moment to make a post about it.

That actually sounds like a pretty awesome plan there. After Des responds, I'll just have her moving out to the farm. The other two boys, assuming they aren't with us, can follow the river to the creek that runs through their fields. I can't remember which of the boys Zy told about the farm DX

No clue, but it makes sense to me so I don't see why it wouldn't work. The only fish traps I've ever seen where nets near the bottom, so I don't have much experience with it either lol

I wanna give you guys some slack to get your characters moved before I post. I think we want them at least at the farm before Gale and Alph move on.

Also, someone should totally weild a scythe picked up from the farm. Cliche as hell but also just so badass.

EDIT: actually it might be Alph. He's going to learn pretty quick that he's not all that great with a sword. I was going to have him switch to either a mace or some kind of pole arm.

Well, there was no word in the ancient languages for ass or butt or anything, so I used Welsh, since it was one of the main inspirations for the language when it was constructed.

Cannot decide if Gren would be better with a scythe or some sort of particularly painful bladed sword-like weapon.

Well at the very least it makes sense for him to pick up something on his way out of town.

Meh, he has a bow. Maybe Kain will have some swords or something.

I think it would be more fun if he didn't, to account for our characters using varied weapons.

We could decide OOC what we mean for our characters to use, and just have that be what is available. Because if there was a sword for everyone it would make the most sense that everyone used that(teaching one weapon to a bunch of people is less work).

But I might be overthinking things.

I mean I can totally picture a character like Gren wielding a fucking scythe into battle and stuff but I'm worried that in a close on fight he would get rekt.
EDIT: I like your idea of deciding who uses what OOC. Less confusion in the RP.

Hmm. Scrying is a thing. A thing a certain someone is good at. Best get a move on peeps. :) It's going to take a substantial amount of luck to keep the dragons secret long enough to protect them from scrying, but we might just manage it.

Well, Kain is going to start with swords. Basic, simple and brings with it the fundamentals of most melee fighting arts. He probably won't have actual weapons with him, since he's a veteran and everything he has would be just his old armor and the short sword he gave to his daughter - a gift from her mother.

But you can only scry something you've seen, no? I would think Galby is kind of gimped by having not been out and about in a while.

It makes sense since she's got the NPC that's helping us escape, and she set up the rendezvous.
