Galaxy Wars: A Science Fiction Roleplay

..........The world as we know it has changed....
It is the year 2130 and our solar system has advanced so much from now. Our generation wouldn't even recognize it anymore. The world has united and due to this feat many things have sprung from it. A futuristic world that you would only see in the movies. The earth has advanced itself into a world of technology. Technology we would have believed to be the most powerful in the galaxy, we would later find out we are not alone in the universe but that will be explained earlier. The earth as we know it now looks like this:
The cars you see today only exist in museums as if it was ancient history. At this point they might as well be. Oil and gas is a thing in the past and energy has come full circle. We don't just use it for lights or our phones anymore. Vehicles have become fully mechanized and now run on power created from plasma technology. Something created by a company called USD, United Science Division. With the greatest minds around the world put together to form it. The developed everything we now see. Artificial intelligence isn't just some rare sight in the works. It is real and not just one but many. Each one have a certain task different from the others. One is in charge of traffic control, the other controls entertainment, and another controls productions of food, vehicles, or other such creations. Another thing has also become a reality though. Space Colonization. With this the human race has expanded and grown across our solar system. It started with the moon:

Right now the process of adding Jupiter to the human race's territory but the USD is having a much harder time with it due to Jupiter's massive size and it's gravity. For now it has been skipped until the tech can be found. However, there next stop would be much much bigger. Today mankind has grown to believe it is the only and most dominant beings of the universe. Even now in the future they still believed that. There were focus groups trying to breathe light into the idea that we are not alone but they were only seen as fanatics and people who should belong on prison colonies away from civilization. However, in secret,... something the USD and the governments have been keeping from the public. They have come across a problem,... When the USD decided to abandon projects towards Jupiter's future they moved to Saturn. Only Saturn had already been claimed by someone else. At first we meet these beings under peaceful interactions and then after we were denied the chance to colonize Saturn war began. A war we have been fighting for a couple years. A war kept out of the reach of the other planets..... Until now. Attacks have occurred behind the lines. Attacks the USD has been blaming on mishaps or uprisings from the poor populations.
This is where your story begins. The setting is on Mars. How the story moves or advances will depend on the actions of the players.
Occupations have not changed only the technology used. To help imagine the worlds. Think Ghost in the shell but on a much more massive level.
