Thinking of making another warplanes RP essentially with the same rules and mechanics of the original but with a new cast and story.

Read a little of the original's overview and a bit of the story to familiarize yourself with the world.
I'm thinking you could make a character out of that disturbingly sexy pilot guy pic you posted.

Ace Combat is love, Ace Combat is life. Literally my favorite series ever, I kept my PS2 just to play 4, 5 and Zero.

OK, so I have a few questions. What range of planes can we see? What's the technology level? I read through the entire OP in the OOC of Sky Warriors, and it said in the range of WWII to 1970, about, are we sticking to that?

Perhaps we should have a big event to break off from the original Sky Warriors story, like a super natural disaster (I know, I'm just picking excuses to nick the Ulysses Disaster from Ace Combat ), a major war or battle? Will it take place around the same time?

As well as that, we'll have to choose who to focus on. We could do a prequel or sequel and keep the Albion's Avengers, but I think a Muv-Luv Schwarzesmarken style of deal would be cool as well, focusing on another important squadron in this universe in a different place, time...

I think Sky Warriors has a lot of potential to have a very detailed and cool universe, as a matter of fact. We can do a lot with it, because from what I read, it looks to be a very flexible setting, as well as quite interesting.

Okay so yeah, handwaving aerodynamics and technology you can have planes from the 1910 from 1970 as they have all been fitted with the same technology and can be piloted just as competetively as each other. I made this rule more for asthetics. Some Warplanes just look to damn cool and I want them to be able to be used along more modern fighter jets. Basically choose the plane that looks nice, dont worry about performance too much.

I'm thinking we actually make it a brief prequel, I want it to take place a couple months before the Alibion Avengers seek out Roland for help going to new haven.

If you want to add some sort of large event to the canon thats very doable, I've created a world that has all sorts of wars and catastrophes going on.

I was going to focus this RP on the Red Baroness, and her putting together a team to hunt down powerful targets across the world and offering large bounties to the players who will join her. This contrasts nicely with Roland's more heroic mission.

It'll be like TAKE DOWN THE 6 BOSSES ACROSS THE GLOBE, each nemeisis will be powerful and initimidating in their own way, shadow of the colosuss style accept with scary mechs, military might and rival warplanes.

Obviously Id want to allow personal motivations to play into the story and aims as well but that would be the starting point.

Okay Ms Falke, that's a fair question you asked. Basically to keep a lot of years of war history short, the states in america all became independent of each other sometime in the past, and Texas tried to rule the continent with force, and it nearly succeeded until being fought to a stalemate by Canada and parts of mexico. The entire US is either barren, highly dangerous or currenly at war. The state of Nevade is unique as its the only state to repel texas and not invade anywhere else, they have sealed themselves off from the rest of the land and put all their resources into Las Vegas which is now known as New Haven because of how safe and prosperus it is. Basically New Haven is the biggest city in the world that is completely safe, and the Albion Avengers and other independent groups are looking to migrate a large amount of skilled Europeans over to New Haven to expand the city and build a proper safe zone that will hopefully cover the south west which they will use as a starting point to start fixing the world. As you know Ava western Europe is pretty divided at the moments the WEC I mentioned before is rife with infighting and many Europeans particularly in the UK want to get away before a full scale European civil war breaks out, not too different to the infighting that's going on in Japan as Nishizawa will tell you.

With her father she investigated their family tree when she was only 7, fascinated by all the men and women in her ancestry, they went all the way back to the 1900s and they found someone very interesting Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen Also known as The Red Baron Hilda and her father both became pilot enthusiasts, and she enrolled in junior flight school as early as she could, they had a picture of the Red Baron hung almost everywhere in the house. Hilda's father was working on a present for his daughter a reconstructed version of the Red Baron's famous craft, but built with modern technology and capabilities, it became his obsession and he wanted only the best for his daughter. Sadly he would never get to present it to her, he was killed in an assassination by the west europe coalition for unknown reasons, everyone knew about it, but nothing could be done. No justice could be taken.

But Hilda wouldn't except that, she finished flight school at the top of her class with vicious determination. And on her 16th birthday she investigated her fathers death only to find his secret garage where he hid it, the Red Baron Masterpiece, with her eyes filled with tears she jumped in the craft and took off, angry and wild, she is now known as a demon of skies, one of the best pilots on the planet deadly and unpredictable attacking pilots everywhere, now with a twisted sense of duty to become the Red Baron reincarnated.

The plane also has a 'Warp drive' like ability to escape from any encounter in a blink of an eye, truly a demon worthy of mythology.

It'd be very cool if we could set the stage for the actions of Albion's Avengers later on. As for a large event, we'll have to discuss it, but I'll idea-storm. Ideally, we should try to find something that explains why the Red Baroness is going on this crusade against the six bosses, and perhaps some of these bosses aren't really so bad, and the characters could be lead to question their allegiances. Sounds a bit generic for now, but we'll work on it.

YES tying together Albion's Decision to go to new haven with Hilda's decison to attack these 6 bosses is a great idea, It makes this spin off story very important!

ANNNNND just one little thing

The only thing I cant budge on is the fact that we will be only flying warplanes. None of the player characters will be using mechs, we will occasionally fight a mech (think a star fox boss fight) but they wont be super cool gundamn style mechs more mobile armor if that makes sense.

But yes completely with you on the ambiguity of the 6 bosses morality. Ive just posted Hilda's profile you'll see she has a lot of reasons to be angry and can be somewhat irrational.
