Name: Amarok Paladus
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Race: Human-Wolf Faunus hybrid
Team: ARGT (pronounced "ARE-gent")
Teammates: Robyn Forrest, Guy Silva, Theia Silva
Appearance: Amarok has white hair and dark blue eyes, as well as pointed ears and prominent canine teeth, and is of average build. His entire right arm is entirely mechanical, and can transform into different modes. He wears ornate, gold and silver armor over a black undersuit, which consists of greaves, tassets, a breastplate, pauldrons, and one gauntlet. His family crest is painted on his left pauldron.
Weapon: Autocon Arm (ax mode resembles Transformers Prime Optimus’ ax; sword mode resembles Transformers Prime Megatron’s sword; MAL resembles ARC-920; ammunition types include HE, anti-armor, flash-bang, sonic, buckshot, and tear gas)
Semblance: Energy Shield (able to create defensive structures from hard light)
Aura color: Bluish-white (fully charged); yellow-orange (after taking damage); red (about to fail)
Skills: Hand-to-hand and close-quarters combat, mechanics
Personality: Amarok tends to be the strong, silent type, and is skilled with technology and machines, partly because he needs to repair the Autocon arm on occasion. Despite his age, Amarok is a skilled and dedicated Huntsman, able to analyze his opponents, find their weak points, and exploit them to the fullest. Despite his demeanor, Amarok has a passion for music, and never goes into combat without his headphones on; he compensates by reading lips and using his Aura. If his headphones are taken off, or the cord is cut, he can become violently angry towards his opponents. He will not stand aside while someone hurts other. Because of his heritage, Amarok judges others equally, regardless of species. He abhors the White Fang, as well as anyone who associates with them. Additionally, Amarok has a tendency to howl at the full moon.
Biography: A lifelong resident of Vale, Amarok was found on the doorstep of an old woman he came to call Mamaw Paladus. She raised him to have a noble, chivalrous heart, and told him stories of Huntsmen and Huntresses; as Amarok grew up he decided that all sentient beings should be treated equally. Despite being poor, Mamaw Paladus bailed out Faunus who had been arrested during peaceful protests. However, she had to borrow money from the White Fang to accomplish this. Eventually she couldn't pay them back, and a group sent by the White Fang's leaders killed her; when then-twelve year-old Amarok fought back, they cut his arm off at the shoulder. Amarok would have died of blood loss if his now-adopted father hadn't found him. After he recovered, Amarok wanted to become a Huntsman, and went directly to Stone Ryu, a weaponsmith and mechanical engineer. With Amarok’s help, Ryu designed the Autocon Arm, which incorporates a normal arm, a sword, an ax, a Magnetic Acceleration Launcher (MAL), and a removable, seven round drum magazine. Amarok attended Signal Academy, where he gained a reputation for “punishing” bullies very harshly. This tradition continued when he enrolled at Beacon, namely with the members of Team CRDL.
