At the same time, Aedius could be considered lazy, as he rarely uses his own magic for combat, relying on a mass of minions to do his bidding. He sometimes uses an unnamed magic to give himself a threatening, deep, sinister voice which would seem omnipresent throughout his domain as a deterrent, or to create suspense in any intruders. In spite of his magical powers being somewhat powerful, he himself is fairly ignorant and immature due to his age and experiences, and is less likely to take advice from anyone, even if it would better his casting techniques.

Thought to be a form of Living Magic, Aedius is able to summon different forms of undead, and control them to his whim. While most of the summons are not individually powerful, the sheer number of undead capable of being summoned is what makes the magic a threat.
Dark Magic
Due to Aedius' reliance on his Living Magic, he is only able to cast Dark Mass
Raise Undead- A straightforward and versatile ability. Raises undead based upon Aedius' choices of weapon, and type of undead chosen.
Skeletons- Weakest form of undead be raised, but cover the most forms of combat. They are able to use simple fire magic, wield bows, one-handed swords and greatswords. Individually weak, they tend to be summoned in groups for effectiveness.
Zombies- Stronger than Skeletons, but cover less forms of combat. Zombies are slow, but inflict mild diseases and poison effects on targets that they strike. They are also occasionally armoured. Although it lacks much use, Aedius is sometimes able to give zombies a replicated face of other people, albeit a rotted, dying version.
Wights- The strongest form of undead in Aedius' current arsenal. They are extremely slow, to the point where they have to walk towards the enemy. They exclusively wield a sword and shield, and are heavily armoured. Upon reaching the target, Wights unleash a flurry of stabs, slices and parries. Only two can be summoned at any given time, but they have a long channeling time which can be interrupted.

The House of Darkwater was a family of perfection, mastery and destruction. Each member is to master a specific form of magic within a set period of time This is decided by standing stones in the courtyard, which glow in different colours and intensities to decide what form of magic is to be learned. In order to 'encourage' members to learn faster, many are subjected to a punishment known as Temperament, where the member in question would be sealed inside of a magical prison, forced to sit still and endure a variety of arcane shocks from the feet, all the way to the head for varying amounts of time. Furthermore, failure to successfully master the magic in question would result in exile, regardless of whether the magic was mastered later in life or not.
Aedius was a family member in the House of Darkwater. He was tasked with mastery of Living Magic: Necromancy within a span of three years. He was 10 years old when his training finally began. Aedius understood most of what he learned quite easily, but Aedius himself was slow at learning, and it was impossible for Aedius to replicate all the spells he read about on the first try. Because of this, Aedius was subjected to Temperament often, rumours claimed that he had been tempered every two months. At the same time, he was also focusing on a different form of Magic: Dark Magic, using books from Darkwater's library; it was not frowned upon in Darkwater, but the decision of the standing stones always came first, and this simply led to being tempered more.
He was essentially unaware of the consequences of failing to master Living Magic.
At 13 years of age, had not yet fully mastered Living Magic, and was thus disowned and exiled. This enraged Aedius himself, he had only needed to learn a few more spells for him to be recognized as master by Darkwater standards. But there was not a single exception to the standing stones, and thus Aedius was subsequently thrown out of the House of Darkwater, never to be allowed to return. Being exiled at a young age, he now lacked the necessary parental figures to provide guidance, and was now able to do as he pleased. Aedius became chaotic in his actions with no form of authority to tell him otherwise, as he was essentially his own authority.
A year had past, Aedius had located a large burial crypt in which he now uses to better himself in Living Magic, and use travelers and adventurers as subjects for his Living Magic to be tested upon.

Aedius seems to know when someone has entered his crypt, and uses the voice changing magic to deter said intruder.
He has an irrational hatred of magic types that have the ability to heal.

Is it fine if I make a character that is along the lines of an antagonist/anti-hero? I was planning onto making a character that was a living magical weapon

We already have enough antagonists, but you can make an anti-hero if you like. kinda someone like old Laxus right? They're part of Fairy Tail but act really indifferent to the guild.

I have an interest in joining though I was thinking a high rank Class A or B that plays more like Gildartz with a slight mindset of Laxus. He bares the notion that, while Fairy Tail is a great guild, he does not rightfully need friendship or comrades to become stronger and succeed within magic. He'd have that loner mentality, for reasons I won't disclose just yet, and would be humbled by the wizards of Fairy Tail during a mission. He'd show up and talk to others but would bombard certain missions, though i'd speak with the person beforehand to ensure not bad blood and won't mess up their ranking up.

That is fine with me. I'm glad you don't feel inclined to share everything about your character in your CS, since it adds something to look forward to in the later future. However if you have something big in mind involving his backstory, feel free to add me on skype (it's on the first page I believe) and talk me through it. You can be as vague as you want with your characters history, as long as you give me a heads up to what you have planned.

That'd be kind of hard considering Aero has no romantic inclination. He's as likely to seduce a woman as a wet noodle. How bout instead we make them like an unofficial team? Like have them do missions together occasionally?
Edit: I have to work again tonight, so Mary, James, and Aero can head off once I'm home, if that's okay.
