Avatar Kirah

&

Ty Pao

The sun had just ascended in the skies above as the people of the Northern Water Tribe were up and getting their day started. Most of the merchants were already shouting out things as people walked by their cart or building. The sun shined itself through the windows of homes especially one in particular - The Avatar's. A soft groan came over the female in the bed as she turned over on her other side, deflecting her face from the sun rays. A soft knock came over her door as the knock was all too familiar. Kirah sat up with her back pressing against the pillows on her bed. She eyed her mother, who had walked into her room with a soft smile and sat down on the side of Kirah's bed.

"I knew the moment I gave birth to you that there was something special about you." She had begun to say as Kirah smiled warmly while her mother continued. "You have to make this world right again, Kirah. Put a stop to those Chi Blocking maniacs." Her mother said while standing up and looking down at her now. "One of your masters are already here and waiting outside. More will come so get ready." Her mother said while walking out of the room and let the first master, one of the ones that were going to travel with Kirah to help save the world, inside of the home. "Welcome. She'll be right out." A smile of welcoming came across the lips of Kirah's mother as she couldn't wait to see the others.

Kirah had gotten ready and adorned her body with the traditional Northern Tribe wear and tied her hair into a ponytail. She let out a small sigh then grabbed her bag while leaving her room and seeing her family and an Earth bender, who stood in her presence. "Avatar Kirah. It is so nice to finally meet you." Ty said as Kirah looked at him with a smile. "Nice to meet you, too." She raised a brow up at him. "Oh, I am Ty. An Earth bender." Ty responded as she then nodded her head as she eyed her family. "So, are the others here or?" Kirah asked as her mother looked at her. "They're on their way. Just sit and wait. Plus, they haven't even brought the ship in yet." Her mother said as Kirah sat down beside Ty as her mother made breakfast for everyone.

Hikari

&

Tashi

Hikari stepped off the Fire Nation ship and onto the frozen ground. The air had a severe bite to it, something she was not used to. The people native to the area had adapted to the cold, while Hikari was used to the warm, welcoming air of the Fire Nation. She waved to the captain of the ship as he took off back into the ocean behind her. The nerves in the pit of her stomach welled up at the sight of the ship leaving her. She had volunteered to help the Avatar in her journey, which, in hindsight, may have been a rash decision. Her life for quite some time was going to be traveling and training. Not to mention the chi blockers, which currently threatened her very existence. Without her Firebending, she was nothing.

She made her way through the icy town. Her traditional Fire Nation clothing stuck out like a sore thumb. Children hung out of their windows to get a glimpse of the outsider. Strangers stared as they passed her in the streets. Surely, they knew of her arrival? One of the children had gathered up enough courage to approach her from behind and tug on her coat.

"Miss, why are you red?"

Hikari chuckled at the child's blatant innocence. "I'm from the Fire Nation; it's how we dress over there."

The child's face lit up at the thought of someone from a completely different part of the world. "Woah! Can you Firebend? I've never seen a Firebender before!" The girl started jumping up and down excitedly.

Hikari rested her hand on the child's head. "I'll show you something really quick, but I've got an important meeting to tend to," she said as she opened her hand to reveal a small fireball.

The girl brought her hands to her mouth and squealed in excitement. Hikari let out another laugh, then continued back on her walk to the Avatar's house. She looked up as a giant shadow crept over her. The body of a flying creature flew overhead, landing several feet in front of her. Hikari braced her feet as the ground rumbled. Aboard the giant beast were several men clad in orange and yellow tunics. One of the men stood up and jumped off the side of the creature, his descent slowed significantly. Hikari approached the Airbender. The beast leapt back into the sky, leaving a single Airbender behind.

"Are you the Avatar's Airbending master? My name is Hikari," she said with a bow.

The Airbender returned the bow. "I am, indeed. My name is Tashi." Tashi gestured towards the building in front of them. "Shall we?"

Hikari nodded. She awkwardly knocked on the side of the door, unsure of the proper etiquette in the Northern Water Tribe.

Avatar Kirah

&

Ty Pao

Kirah and Ty had sat there, eating the breakfast Kirah's had made the family and them. She was really ready to go and get things over with but that was easier said that done. When she finished her breakfast, she walked over to the sink and rinsed the plate off then jumped when a sudden knock came over the door. Kirah dropped the plate on the ground and it shattered as she breathed a bit heavily. "Oh. Sorry, mother." Her mother shook her head as she knelt down and started picking up the pieces of shattered glass. "It's quite alright. Go get the door." Her mother responded in a sincere tone as Kirah nodded and walked past her mother and went over to the door, answering it.

"Hey." She said. By the way both of them were dressed, she automatically knew that they were there for her and ready to fight and stand by her side within this war. Kirah waved for them both to come in and whenever they were inside of her home, she closed the door and led them towards wherever else were. "Oh, I'm Kirah, by the way." She extended her hand out towards Ty, who raised up and walked over to the trio, looking at the newer two of the group. "I'm Ty. By my wear, you can see that I am from the Earth Kingdom." He said as he eyed the firebender especially, having a sort of background with the Fire Nation within his small time there.

Ty cleared his throat and stepped away for a moment. "So, shall we?" Kirah asked while turning heel towards her family and hugged them all individually then grabbed the to-go plates fixed for Hikari and Tashi, handing it to them before grabbing her bags and waited for everyone else before heading over towards the dock with them and turned heel towards them. "You may call me Kirah. I know I've introduced myself before but when I go to these nations again and see what information we gather up, I will be called Avatar Kirah multiple time." She said then breathed a little before continuing. "So, just Kirah. Alright?" She eyed them. "Gotcha, Kirah." Ty said with a nod while already walking onto the dock and up onto the ship.

When Hikari and Tashi responded, she'd nod her head then turn her heel and walk back on the ship, handing her bags off towards Kala. "Thanks. Oh and everyone has their own room on the ship, correct?" Kala nodded before taking her bags to her own private room and Kirah walked over to the deck, straddling her arms over the railing and just inhaling and exhaling, waiting for the others to get settled in as ship horn blew to let them know that the ship was going to sail shortly. "Here we go, Kirah. Reality starts now." Ty said while walking up beside her and standing there, arms folded behind his back.

Kirah looked at him and nodded her head then turned her attention towards Hikari and Tashi. "So, how are your nations doing? Were they attacked, as well?" She asked while sitting on a bench on the deck and waiting for one of them to answer her.

Hikari

&

Tashi

Hikari and Tashi were quickly ushered in and out of the building. They introduced themselves to the Avatar and the Earthbender, Ty Pao. Tashi politely declined the meal he was offered, stating that he was a vegetarian, and that he had packed his own breakfast consisting of Lychee nut tea, and a medley of nuts and fruits. The two followed the Avatar to the docks, where there ship awaited them.

"Fortunately for the Nomads, the Air Temples are quite difficult for outsiders to reach. The Nothern Air Temple has had some attacks attempted, but nothing too major. I hear the Western Air Temple has been less fortunate than us, however. They are among the easiest to breach," Tashi said.

"The Fire Nation has a large population of non-benders, and therefore Chi Blockers as well. Our military is holding strong, though they will not last forever." Hikari set her bags down on the deck of the ship and joined the other two on the railing. "How are you and your sister tribe doing?" She asked the Avatar.

"And, how is the Earth Kingdom faring? I imagine the sheer strength of the Earth Kingdom is enough to deter any attacks," Tashi said as he removed his staff from his belongings and took his place next to Ty Pao.
