The moment that she mentioned going to the park, Justin could feel himself begin to smile as he nodded to the idea. He had to admit that he was pretty happy with how things were goig so far, nothing bad had happened yet and Anna didn't seem too bothered (at least not because of him). Following her out of the cafe and down the street, he agreed to her comment about the city's electricity problem with a small nod.

When she asked him as to why he talked to her, he was silent for a moment as they walked. Justin wasn't completely sure himself. With a small chuckle he replied, "You may be blabbering a bit, but hey it's a reasonable question. To be honest I'm not completely sure myself, I mean at first it was merely to say thanks for the elevator. When we bumped into each other at the cafe, I legitimately thought it was my fault, so I wanted to apologize." Looking over at her as they walked he realized the same question applied to her a bit as well. "So I got ask, why did you suggest getting coffee together?"
With a hand clasped over his heart and a pained look on his face Søren looked over at Parker, "Ridiculous? Me? I am deeply offended, and I thought we were friends." Turning to look at Matt as the singer began to explain Søren's face took on a much more serious look. After their singer finished speaking, Søren sat there for a moment his eyes burning with excitment in complete contrast to his still serious face.

"This is a really good oppurtunity, so I have to say yes, even if the circumstances around it aren't great. I hope whatever it is with TNC will be fine," he stated calmly, " If we do take this gig though we need to figure out our set list, which means we need to know our stage time and everything. Also, we might want to try to burn a shit ton of CDs for any possible fans. So like I said I'm in." Tilting his head Søren looked towards Petra and Parker, wwaiting for their opinions. Even if he was pretty sure what it was going to be.
I'll try to post soon, though it may take a while. I have to deal with some family stuff.
It's understandable I know things can get hectic. There is no need to apologize, whenever you can get around to it is fine.
"What ladies? The cute ones of course. After all they can't keep their hands off me," Søren replied with a tone and look on his face that made it basically impossible to tell if he was kidding or not. Slapping on a small grin Søren hopped in the van. Settling in the back of the van he placed Nete next to him and looked at Parker as the vehicle started. With a poor imitation of an aristocrat he called out, "Now onwards to the residence chaffuer,"
Following Parker and Petra in, Søren ignored their conversation and walked to his room, talking quietly to his bass as he did so. "I'm sorry, but no more playing for a while my fingers hurt a bit and Parker and I have company. For now, I'll just leave you in my room, though I hope while I'm in there these break the weird awkward sexual tension thing, I mean come on."

Opening the door to his room he walked in set Nete down on his bed, grabbed a sketch book and a few pencils, then walked out. Joining the rest of the group he sat by the table and began to sketch out a basic design for his business card. Finishing the rough sketch as Matt began to choke he set it down and went to grab a piece of the pizza. "This pizza must be pretty good if you're getting all choked up over it Matt," Søren called out teasingly as he took a bite. Before he could swallow though he heard Matt say the words free and Born of Osiris. "Wait free free? Or free as in opening for the concert, or free as in being on their street crew... or... or," Søren rapidly asked jumping to his feet, before a look of doom fell over his face. "Wait you said this weekend. Oh come on! I just bought a ticket for the show earlier today. What kind of sick joke is this, you bastard?" he lamented as fell to his knees and threw his arms towards the heavens, letting out a long strecthed out, "Why?"

Slowly returning to his previous sitting posistion Søren looked at Matt, "To answer your question I'd say hell yeah free concert, well sort of. Oh well my fault." Shrugging He just took another bite of pizza and leaned back in his seat.
Watching Anna as she spoke, Justin noticed her fiddling with the cross around her neck. It seemed like she was nervous, and the more she talked the tighter she wound the necklace around her fingers. Noting how unsure she looke when she finished speaking, during which she admitted that she wasn't extremely social either. Justin inwardly sighed for a moment he thought her nervousness was caused by him (well in a way it was, but it wasn't entirely his fault). 'Now all I have to do is come up with something to break any tension that might be left, but how?' he pondered.

Taking a drink of his coffee, and looked at her with a slight smile. "Thanks, I don't think I'm too socially awkward. Besides you're right we are talking fine aren't we?" Justin responded. "Anyways as far as not being the most social, who cares? I mean after all I'm sure most of this people have more to worry about then being socially inept." indicating towards the people around them, then continued, "Therefore, I got to say I think we are alright, nothing to get nervous about or anthing," Justin finished with a small (hopefully) reassuring smile.
I'm cool with three gigs and having Matt set up the gigs.
Standing by the side of the van Søren half listend to the conversation around him. At the current moment his mind was focused more on Parker. Søren had taken notice of Parker's drowsiness and though he didn't say anything, he was pretty sure what had caused it. After all he and Parker weren't only roommates they were friends and while Søren wasn't about to confront his friend about his pill habit, he could still watch and make sure Parker didn't go too far. For one they were friends and two Parker was his chauffer as Søren liked to call him.

His attention snapped back to the conversation as Parker spoke. Hearing Parker's excuse for his drowsiness Søren was a bit dissapointed, it appeared that he hadn't completely taken into account that he roomed with one of his bandmates, and while it was true that Parker had left a little early for work today, it wasn't really enough to cause this much exhaustion in Søren's opinion. When Parker offered up their place to eatt at Søren nodded and replied with a serious voice and a contemplative face, "Yes we can all eat and rejoice at our place of residence. By the way I totally need a business card with that on it. On the top it would say Søren Wyclif, Guitar Whisperer and then the next line would the say Bassist for The Harbingers the bottom would then have my number on it, for all the ladies of course." Nodding slowly in agreement with himself he looked at the others. "Any of you guys know a good place to get a bunch of business cards made?"
If a time skip keeps things rolling I'm down for it.
After placing their orders there was an awkward spot of silence. 'What to talk about? I don't want to sound stupid or anything.' Mulling it over in his head Justin let his mind go through possible choices, 'Lets see... ummm music? No. Movies? No. Hobbies. Maybe. Classes? Yes that'll work!' However, before he could ask, Anna spoke.

Taking a moment to respond, he just let the fact that they had both settled on the same topic sit in his head, it was sort of amusing. Answering he replied, "Art and music that's cool, I enjoy the fine arts, it allows for an exploration into the human mind in a blissfull medium. I am double majoring in psychology and criminal justice. I want to be a psych analyst, which according to my friends and family is hilarious, because I apparently can't pick on most social cues." Chuckling awkwardly at the last part Justin cursed himself in his head, 'Really! I just had to let her know how socially odd I am. It may already be apparent, but I didn't have to basically come out and say it.' Opting to try to forget this line of thought he just grabbed his coffee that had arrived at some point during his answer or thinking.
