We're almost there! We're almost there!
Ama smiled at Lyra, shaking her head. "No thank you, child. I don't need to eat. She turned her head back to the fae and gave a curt nod. "You may call me Ama. I am a servant to the Summer King. And this is his human child." The dryad walked over to Meredith. "We are also on our way to the court. We can walk together."
Ama kept a close eye on this fae. She never trusted anyone right away.

Saryx looked up at the so called sorcerer. His words made her think. She could use the money, and power wasn't bad either. But she had never dealt with vampires and he said The Order was after him. Saryx was raised not to trust The Order after what they did to the dragons. Maybe helping this Joshua wasn't such a bad idea. Saryx stood from her seat, pointing at the skeleton.
"Let him down and let him talk."
I'm good with that
Saryx smiled slightly and looked over to the smoking girl, then back to Eyja. She wondered if she should get to know her better. She seemed pretty nice and approachable. Saryx decided to take that chance.
"I'm Saryx. I'm... not from around here. New to the city."
She pulled down her hood from her head and took another sip from her drink.
"Um... Do you know if there is anyone hiring around here? I kind of need work..."
I am so excited!
Thanks for pointing it out ^̮^
Saryx looked over at the girl who sat down beside her. She scowled at the bartender for denying her her drink. Maybe she was new to this whole ordeal, but water didn't seem to be a rarity here. So why couldn't she drink water? She looked at the woman's large bag, then back at her. Saryx leaned against the bar top, resting her head on her hand.
"Why would he deny you water? She asked the woman, a slight accent in her voice. "It doesn't seem to be hard to find around here. I've never seen so much water in one place."
I just replied! Sorry I didn't see it before!
@luclovers

Ama looked stopped when she heard the new voice. She looked over at what appeared to be another fae. A little taken back that she was not noticed, her emotions were sent to the trees close by, making them twist and turn.
"She is fine where she is." Ama said, a bit peeved.
Her skin thickened with bark, but swelled back down. She shouldn't be mad. The fae did nothing wrong. Sighing, she looked back at Lyra.
"She is under my protection. So she is safe. I don't believe I have seen you before..."
