Williams and Ty moved with purpose, diligently but quickly clearing their rooms. Their enhanced senses and the state of the art equipment they wore aided them in doing this but frankly it was the human interaction that made the job work. Their gut reaction or sixth sense if you will, is what separated them from the AI and Ty was thankful for it.
@AlphaWolf215
Was hoping you could post before I do so the order stays pretty solid.
@Sleeth
I honestly thought our team was above them, my bad, I can change it.
Ty heard everything through his helmet, it was a difficult thing to hear your comrades in combat and most rookies come running but that in fact would be a mistake. Having confidence in your teams in one of the biggest assets you carry into any mission. Ty and Williams had to push on and continue clearing, especially if there were more enemies waiting to ambush them. He knew that the comms would be flooded soon with their commands so he kept the chatter to a minimum and remained calm, making sure to manage his breathing.
Ty moved with Spartan Williams, they were to clear their own set of floors and it was important that they did it in a timely manor. Everyone knew the consequences of that armor falling into the wrong hands, not to mention their own failure to worry about. Before even stepping foot on the Pelican to link up with Fireteam Quantum, he did as much digging on each of them as his clearance allowed and one thing was very clear. Their mission success rate was quite high, Ty wanted nothing more than to help get the mission done and each one that followed. "Williams and I are almost done with this floor, will radio check upon each completed floor." Ty said on comms as he kicked a door in and looked inside before deeming it clear and moving onto the next one.
Ty pulled up the rear with his shotgun, no way to clear floor by floor in these tight hallways with a sniper rifle but he didn't mind. He was just happy to be moving on with the mission now that the pissing contest was over. They would be clearing floor by floor to insure no nasty surprises though with the squad on edge like this, he almost doubted any surprises would matter.
So....anyone gonna post?
"The civilians have just left, all that stands between us now is internal conflict and god knows how many hostiles that saw the bird land." Ty said as he inspected his rifle while walking a little closer to them. "I'd like to find this armor before they do, so if Parker could just lead, that would be great." he added, his head tilted to the left every so slightly and though they couldn't see it, he had a sarcastic grin on his face. Ty wasn't a very serious person but out in the field, he took things much more seriously and hoped to make it out of here in one piece, as he did from any mission.
After Ty helped the last civilian onto the pelican, he made his way to the squad to fall in. He walked up just as Parker was releasing Eryx. Ty had heard it all unfold on the comms but he was unphased by it. Parker was a passionate man when it came to those events, frankly we was used to it. "We need to move soon, that pelican would have pulled a lot of attention." said Ty as he walked up behind them. Things were getting heated and he worried it might escalate.
