THE MORE AWESOMEST POTATO:

Let me properly introduce myself. I am Sir Spud the Fourth, and I have been a potato for the longest time ever. I never denied it to be completely honest, but it is only recently that I embraced it. Now I have evolved from a simple couch potato to a fully grown royal potato. A dapper kawaii potato. And I dare say, knowing that you are a spud, makes life a lot easier. Just chill and let everyone else care about all their meaningless things because at the end of the day you'll know: chilling is the way to go.

I try to spend minimal effort on things that I don't care about, and procrastination might as well be my middle name. But that doesn't mean I ONLY rest. Sometimes a 'tato gotta do what a 'tato gotta do. And if that something happens to be things I like, then you cannot find anyone better than me. I am an omnipotent being capable of virtually any task to a limited degree, and I am not shy to admit it. I may not be the MOST AWESOMEST in a thing, but I am sure as hell MORE AWESOMEST than most people are at everything. But hey, I'm not here to brag, even if I am probabaly better at it than you

THE DREAMER:

All those nights laying in my couch, I thought about the cool shit that I cannot do. That I cannot see. But I pictured them in front of myself like they were real, and that infuraited me. Then I found the Guild, and I lived happily after. I have been on the site for 2 years now, and I have seen many RPs, and played with many people. I wish I have found the site earlier, but I am glad that I've even found it. Now all those fantasies can be written down and my mind can rest at ease at night, without being constantly troubled by ideas.

When I RP, I love myself some good Sci-Fi or Fantasy. But hey I am filthy casual, I can go for anything with an interesting setting. I don't trouble myself on small details if the plot is good, but if you get somwthing wrong you can expect me to tell you about it. Some even go as far as to think that I am angry or something, but I am too chill for that. If anything I'm more of the funny type, so you can expect me to try and write some shitty jokes or post memes I found on the internet. Anyways, you'll see what I mean when we RP together.

THE ARTIST:

Used to be something else here, but I'm happy to say that it's replaced because of a positive change. I now work as a full-time 3D artist in the animation industry, churning out shot after shot for some of your favorite game intros and trailers. Can't say anything about them before you even ask, and even though I'm still new to the industry I love it and I already know that this will be my passion for a long time. So hopefully in a few years I'll have a proud portfolio of animations that were done by yours truly that I can show off to all the lovely people of the guild.

THE LOVER OF STUFF:

Now I may have hobbies like the above mentioned, but there are some more things that I love in life. Here is a handy list of things you can always talk about with me:

  • Gaming: This one I am quite proud of, I'm a serious gamer with capital G. Not as much time for it nowadays, but still true.
  • Music: All kinds of electronic music, but I am a sucker for Queen and Powerwolf. Or Breakbot... anything music.
  • Anime: We all have an Otaku in us, but it's bigger for some people. For me it's just big enough.

WORDS OF WISDOM:

Be chill folks, getting fed up about stuff is a recipe for disaster. You gotta learn to be patient and let things go, or you'll end up a wrinkly old man/woman with only bad memories about life. Even if you do fuck-all every day, you can live a content life by taking things easy. With that said, as always, stay safe and stay classy.

@Sophrus I would think that the Gargans at least know about the other races in the area. But if they are sos tubborn, maybe the Mekhar made the wrong decision. (Also you can always jsut wait for Legion to make a post where he finally goes to the homeworld of the Rarians, adn then you can meet them there)
<Snipped quote by 6slyboy6>

Their real purposed is that they are a form of troop transport for the Rarians like the escape method that the Rarians used to escape.

They are oversize cannons designed to launch sky piercer rounds(basically rounds made for boarding ships). though they don't have enough power to hit anything out beyond the stratosphere.

But basically this shells when they hit the ships it will latch onto the ships, giving the Rarians inside enough time to get inside the ships.

As the exact size of the cannons there are three types of this from the portable ones designed to launch an individual to a certain distance, there are the massive ones that can hit something in the stratosphere.

for the Rounds they would be the size of a small house just enough to house a giant and a few animal morphs inside.

A novel concept. As long as the shells don't get shot down with all the Rarians inside them :P

@6slyboy6 Looks like I have some more reading to do. I don't imagine my race is good at running a blockade, but they are phenomenal at surviving a siege; considering what plants and fungi consider "food and supplies" is drastically different than what meat does.

Yeah, no worries man. I never planned on yoi joining the blockade thing, so don't really worry about it. I am drafting up a post for you, but it may take a day or two to get a full post written and posted.

@6slyboy6 I might have to do a 3 part single post to catch up the black sun to current events. Since their whereabouts are not really known I will pretty much be doing before the arrival/invasion and during depending on your new post, I'll get home soon I will read as soon as I arrive from school.

EDIT: After reading I can still do my single post but I won't be engaging just yet, I will however catch up the Black Sun to current events, I will also wait for @Legion02 and his post before I act upon everything. I've laid out my general idea on a piece of paper but I lost it so I'm making another one *Shrug*

We have all the time in the world. As long as you tell me you need time, imma put the IC timer on a halt. If you want to adress any events before the invasion, you can also adopt the same timestamp I am using, so we can clearly see the events and their progression chain.

Now I had a long think about it, and after seeing how you failed to use all the resources avaible for you, granted by the open world and your mind's infinite creativity, I see that I must come to your aid.

When the Mekahr told Sophrus to form the FPA, they didn't mean make a new one, but rather to reform the old. But seeing how the Gargans aren't likely to do that for a while (especially since the location of the old FPA was a few sectors away), I decided to go give you a much needed boost in manpower and fleet strenght. It will come in the form of three options you can choose from.

1: The Srik, a fanatically religious race of winged lizards who inhabit an outer rim planet with a dense jungle. They have been relatively quiet since the fall of the FPA, and obeyed the EOM rules. Back in the old days, they used to be a strong military force that opposed the FPA, as the troops could get to a high altitude and then glide towards their target with their "wings", much like the flying squirrels, but far deadlier. They have little in the sense of fleet power, and instead rely on their superior physical forms and their unbreakable morale.

2: The Follok, a race of pacifist voidborne insectoids, who have inhabited many asteroid clusters long before other races discovered space travel. They avoided the EOM forces during the great war, and have been hiding ever since, making their own fleets to transport their population from asteroid to asteroid. They are excellent shipwrights, but they lack the sufficent military experience needed to make good warships. However, they already have many ships they can spare, and they can easely fabricate new ones in space, as they need no oxygen and can easely cling onto any surface.

3: The Gurkha, a race of slave keeping vampiric aliens who once owned the sectors 18 to 15 and even some of the outer world planets that are unknown to the EOM. They were by far the strongest opponent the EOM had to face, as the races of said sectors were kept under a constant fear of these strong aliens, and were urged to fight the human armadas. Some of them were essentially integrated into this Empire for their strenghts, and the EOM waged a costly war with the Gurkhan Empire before it fell some 70 years into the great war, marking the end of the human's conquest for the Triangulum. They now see a chance to regain their lost lands and once again establish their empire, and could provide manpower and powrful ships for the rebellion.

Whichever race you choose will be added into the game instantly, while the rest of them may or may not join the RP further down the line. For now I will be in control of them, but if I someone asks to gain control of them, I will not hesitate to give it to the players. I trust your sound judgement in the matter, and hope that you choose wisely.
I should make a post later today.

Looking forward to it. I cannot wait to get my not-so-silent protagonists on the set for all to see and interact with. I mean, who doesn't want to know this odd duo of a cute but irritating fairy and her bigger more combat focused, and much more quiet companion.

Seriously, just play Legend of Zelda and you'll see what I mean when Navi can't shut up, but you're still playing the game.
@LegionPothIX No battle yet honestly. The EOM occupied Raria, and are now blockading the planet, knowing that they rebellius cells will come. They desperately need the Rarian manpower. And if they don't come soon, the EOM still reaps the second place prize of starving out and exterminating every single Rarian. There is no battle just yet, but there should be one soon.

As for the rest of you, I will post something tomorrow for you about how to get some more support for this. But I would expect you guys to make contact with each other and finally start doing something about poor Wildman dying. You know how anticlimactic it would be to kill off my playerbase in Chapter 2? Or to even kill them off in the first place. Respect mah RP T_T
@Thecrash20 I could make a planet fall, but I'd need some seriously strong ankles to make it trip over.
@Necroknight it ain't a long post, and I skipped over some of the interloping parts, but you can further explain what happened back at Icarus once you speak with the Praetor and tell him about teh situation.
@Necroknight

High Orbit, Rarian Homeworld
17:25 Galactic Central Time, D+4 Day

After numerous days of travelling the hyperspace and refueling at different outposts, the fleet of the Grandmaster arrived above the orbit of Raria. The fleets stationed above the planet dwarfed the size of the newly arrived task force, but they were still a significant power in battle. Soon after they exited hyperspace and sent their transmitter codes, the Praetor requested the Grandmaster's ship to dock with his own vessel. It wasn't a real request, and the task force swiftly approached the Praetor's location, ready to dock with the flagship.

Meanwhile in the belly of the Shadowgleam, the main hangar of the ship was already preparing for the ceremonial welcome of the Praetor. Jack stood beside the Grandmaster and his bodyguards, explaining the situation to him. "I know this is your first time meeting with a Praetor, especially one which is known to absolutely despise xenos, so I'll help you through this whole unnecessary ceremony so you don't run into any problems. But worry not, he cannot do anything to you as long as you have the blessing of the Emperor, and the fashionable bracelet on your hand." Jack smirked as he looked at the slick item that completely mismatched with the Order's colors. However this was the lifeline of the Grandmaster, and as someone tasked with his protection and guidance, he needed to embed it in his mind. "Most xenos never rise to your ranks. So act humble in front of the Praetor, or he may find a way to demote you and then execute you. Though the facade is that you are on equal ranks as ship captains, he is your superior by quite a lot. Just smile widely and be polite until we get to the Praetor's offices and you'll be spared from any trouble."

Jack then began to tell the formal details of this meeting, but he only managed to usher a few words before the doors of the hangar door started to open up, revealing the inside of the flagship's hangar on the other side. Almost like a mirror, soldiers of the EOM lined up in two large columns on both sides of the hangars, leaving a large avenue in the middle where the Praetor stood opposite of Jack and the Grandmaster. "Well shit. Just follow me and shake hands with the Praetor when we get close. You two may speak when we exit the hangar." That said, Jack began to slowly approach the Praetor. They were all slowly walking towards the middle of this unified hangar, and met at exactly the center. Jack bowed before the Praetor as they got closed, and stood aside to leave place for the Grandmaster.

The Praetor smiled at the Grandmaster as he approached the xeno, and took his position on his side of the hangar. "Grandmaster, glad you could reinforce our forces here. We are always in need of extra hands to crush this xeno rebellion." The bracelet on the hand of the Grandmaster shimmered in the light, and catched the attention of the Praetor. So this Xeno was indded who they said he was. A fringe world xeno getting a promotion from the Emperor is unheard of, not to mention placing one of such underling race under the protection of the SDF. Memories flashed into the Praetor's mind about xeno generals before this "Grandmaster". Those not affiliated with the SDF usually got blown to pieces by other pirates pretty quickly. Mostly because they were given ships not even fit for training purposes. But this Grandmaster ran around with a fleet of spiffy new ships equipped with the newest technologies. Maybe his plans for the future will be justified by this xeno general. Without wasting any more time, he offered his hand for the xeno. "I cannot wait to hear your detailed report on your travels."
If you were wondering why I haven't posted yet, even thought I am active here in the OOC, it is because I am planning on reusing the same post I made in the last RP. I think it was clever and shows the characters all too well to just ditch it, so I'll just correct all the mistakes and then post it when the time is appropriate.
@Wildman13 "just 2 and a half stories tall."

I feel like they are massive still, but please tell me what exactly is their purpose, if not to shoot down ships in the sky.

@Sophrus I am making the post where Necro and my character arrive over Raria. However, your captain should not be able to see this, as the current post will play about 4 days after the invasion, as teh timestamp will tell. I think Liotrent or Legion is your best bet now.
[@Wildman] "Soon the experimental Sky Piercer cannons were finished and were hauled into the underground tunnels placing them in key strategic locations underground and with their crew with them, they are tasked to produce or procure weapons for the time until they were needed again, soon these monstrosities of iron and metal were hauled into the tunnels fading into the darkness by dragged by equally monstrosities the Rarians where able to conjure in their time of isolation."

I have multiple problems with this. For one, you never mentioned such massive guns before, in fact, you barely got into producing your own small arms. Understandably, I don't see how this convenient equipment happened to be convenienty finished on the day of the EOM assault. Second, and this is less of a GM and more of a reader advice, the following sentence is almost 4 lines long, and yet it is a single sentence. Sometimes I struggle to understand what you are writing, because you connect so many and words to make these monsters of a sentence. I am not the best writer either, but I think you should make many small sentences instead of a few of this enormous ones.

Back to then guns, I definetly don't like this ideal turn of events, and guessing by the name and description, you intend them to be capital busters. That is a big no-no. On the other hand, I can see you guys stealing the smaller EOM space guns, and perhaps making similar replicas, but definetly some big ass OP guns. Perhaps if the siege gets prolonged you could make ONE, but not multiple sites spread across the planet.
