[to all] If you ARE randomly conversing with someone via PMs, it is actually really useful for the rest of us to know you're conversing even when the conversation isn't done, so tell us in the OOC that you are talking so we know, so we don't make any posts that clash with your secret conversation by accident. The Tales Games! I remember them well. I've never touched them Myself but I've watched their skits in videos, I like Vesperia the most out of all the tales games. The characters have much synergy in terms of personality, not to mention their incantations make scienTIfIc sense.
Wow, she's from Touhou? I mean, I know what it is, but I haven't played it or been in that fandom generally, so I totally did not realize that that was where that picture came from.

I had that happen to me when making my characters too! Sometimes I just type the description to search, get the image and rejoice. Totally oblivious to where and what I just procured. :>.
I have had the pleasure of being messaged once that my character that I played in a roleplay was fRom an adult movie, I won't name which because my curiousity led me to some very strange places and sharing those places in misled excitement got me a greeting message courtesy of the site community. :/.
Habit went fRom PG-13 to downright RA with archibald's post about arathaya's new stave, might we be expecting such scarring inspirational poetry for the iminent tsundereship between man and horse too? Ret will lend you some of his precious blue mushrooms for that.
To thy request @Harbringer: Ret could be using up his action this turn 'relocating' archibald torwards to a square in range or at an enemy, if skink allows, and we could arrange something eventful (why are we doing this?). :>.
But he, well I imagine anyone really, would be very opposed (see: It's clobbering time!) to the kind of bodily contact you are refering to... especially mid-battle and while archibald still has two very functioning legs.
Btw, the IC has really been fIlled with excellent posts. Well-written, everyone!
@PlatinumSkink I don't know. I don't think Ret was swayed to their side by anyone yet he's clearly helping the Gradians... Maybe just leave him green. :>.

Posted! Ret is moving 4 squares to the left and casting Thunder on the nearest enemy from 2 squares away.
If one has already bit dust before that, then 5 squares to the left instead (using up all his movement this turn) and Thunder the other one.

Through the gates came an individual, a male it seems, clad heavily in armor - as he dislodged a shield from out of nowhere. He was speaking to Ret apparently, who just awkwardly stared back at him for a moment. Having spent most of his life in less civilized areas, Ret got a bit suspicious of strangers the first time he meets them. Yet this one seemed to want to help, not swing something sharp at him. Unsure to nod in acknowledgement or shake in denial, Ret just ...vibrated for moment.
Another pressence, this one somewhat darker, crept up behind him. He almost looked behind till the armored one abruptly turned around and called to his friends, somewhat rudely too. Ret furrowed his brow at him, rather displeased.
But the moment passed. Right now seeing the two enemies ahead engaged yet standing their ground instead of proceeding forward, there was a reckoning at hand.
"They scared! We strike!"
Ret bellowed before taking several long strides forwards, unhinging the lock on the metal book hanging by his side. It's pages fluttered wildly as he ran, as he squeezed past two Gradian soldiers who were at the forefront. When he finally reached the midst of battle where he could see the two fIghters, the book had began humming with an all too farmiliar sound ....
Through the visor of his helmet, Ret looked at the ever distant heavens and nodded like he was responding to someone. Then he closed his eyes and placed his right hand on the book, mummuring what oddly seemed to be complete sentences, only for a second - his hand began to glow a faint yellow.
When Ret opened his eyes, he pulled his step back and swiftly drew patterns in the air as he turned. Light coalesced in trails, symbols of hidden knowledge brought to life.
I am he who stands before the abounding light ...
When all this was all done, Ret clenched his hand.
"RRRRRRRAGGGGHHH!!!"
Bringing one knee down, he violently slammed his fist into the floor - with it a grandious circle of runes erupted. Transforming physical might into a force of nature.
There was but a flash before a spear of lightning erupted from the heavens and crashed into the Jehannan before him!

Well, since I haven't made my character move or anything except talk yet. I think I'll post a short post with said movements to complete my turn before the whole throne room empties completely.
As there is a single letter difference, you'll have the advantage, yes. ... But they'll have an appropriate chance to fight back. As such, when fighting, you're to tell what you're TRYING to do. Yes, even against these NPCs. If you do want to include a whole fight in the post, you'll have to PM exchange with me for a bit.
I didn't actually expect you to leave the room that quickly. I did think that all the people on the outside would be allowed at least one post before you all came thundering out, and past them. Though, yeah, as for those setting up defense, the Fighters were not actually going to attack. They were the ones on the defensive, really, making sure nobody came into the corridor. Of course, that might have been hard to predict, but I'd have ample reason in my own post... but now they're under attack, so that's another matter altogether.
I was very bewildered by that too! I wasn't really expecting automatic 1 hit Ko either. Made me reread the whole OOC to be sure something was amiss. I'm glad you clarified this for us! :>.
Yep, I knew the fIghters weren't going to attack as said in your post, but my character thought they were going to. Guess that's out the window now. XD
