That is quirky, how you named your alts that roll dice and such.
Nice! Hmm your point makes sense too. Seems it is the general concensus that a second account to roleplay in my own games is unethical at worst and rude, at best. @Lady Amalthea
I see! @Odin

Can I ask why @Lucius Cypher is Co-GM? Instead of someone else like maybe @Kalleth who seems more eager to engage with others cooperatively, writes better and has put way more effort into the thread?

I'm just very curious as to your reasons. As Co-GMs usually imply a responsibility over a shared influence with the host over the course of the story as well as to play a minor moderative role in the OOC.

@Zelosse

Edit: Changed this post to ask something else at 6:47pm.
To write up the premise of a roleplay on one account, then join in your own roleplay with another account.

I've always been wary of hosting a roleplay because it always seems more interesting to me, to discover new worlds rather than write up one I am already farmiliar with. I get bored rather readily if I know everything.

...However, I like seeing how others react to a situation I made. A setting. A connundrum. A persona. Whichever of these, it is always full of intrigue to me to see others react. Then proceed with making up the story based on that.

It's a contest of desires when it comes to writing, the pastures are greener on both sides. If I could join my own roleplay with another account - I could sample the benefits of both sides.

Which brings us to my question. Would any of you consider it inappropriate to join in an anonymous accounrt, an own roleplay? Or is it better to be upfront about placing a character within one's own setting, without regards to the 'special treatment' they might recieve due to being the host's character?

I'd like to hear what you think. :>.
Nah, you didn't start anything. :).

I agree there's very little chronological order. If that's what you'd like, I'm totally up for it. Let me know if you need me to make any slight changes to suit your post better.
@2plus2isnot5
No no, guys, plox don't get involved / concerned over this. It's over, I think I explained everything adequately. There should be no more misunderstandings.

I appreciate your concerns though. Really. :).

UPDATE: We all have personalities and I agree with north that this is clogging up the OOC. Hence, why this will stop here. Everything else involving this will be in PMs on my part, I should have brought this to private earlier.

@ManoftheNorth@Spriggs27
I don't mind Elsie and Malkai meeting others, I just didn't expect you to have Elsie move to Vigil. When I saw that post I thought you must have talked to 2plus2 and collaborated or something. Given what you said though, it looks like you moved Elsie without asking anyone else. I'll just have Malkai keep moving and try to meet anyone else along the way, or for someone to find him.

Since when? Vigil moved towards Elsie, not the other way around. The ledge was along her path, I left the location open to intepretation, he just spotted her and then met her. He's the one actively moving about, picking up stuff, searching for people.

I know you really want her to find you but ...do read my post and stop jumping to conclusions. It was a post that took me the better half of the day to write too, you only decided to have her character be with yours like 1 hour before I posted ...and you already posted once.

If we were to be fair, you are actually intercepting my post instead by asking me to change it based on something you haven't even written! How is that fair?

...just ask @2plus2isnot5 what they want, alright? I don't really want to argue about this while you keep saying I 'moved' their character, to make your argument valid, when I never did.

This really isn't a big deal in my opinion, should I be in your exact same shoes I would have no problems. I mean, what the heck's with telling me I am 'wrong' to interact with another player???
It'll give time to meet @Rekaigan's character, if you want.

Had I known you wanted Elsie entirely for yourself earlier, I would have considered waiting for Alya to appear. I really would have enjoyed writing interactions with @Rekaigan too. So I would not mind.

But now it's a bit late.

Your post will imply that Elsie heads towards the cove instead of wander the beach to meet Malkai.

BTW: No, it doesn't imply that. My character just points out the blue light to her and he will go towards it after letting the healer take a pick from his scavenged items. I don't ever conclude other's significant actions unless I PM them first and seek their permission (like I did with my first post and R'ornn). Hence Elsie is free to do and go whatever she wants, do discuss it with her player if you insist on her discovering your character, you still have plenty of options. -_-

@Lucius Cypher
I wasn't intercepting, I was already writing my post while OOC was going on and only saw that after I posted.

Well, R'ornn's beacon is quite visible. (Well done @ManoftheNorth btw.)
I pressume it could be a signal that draws everyone closer, use that to give reason to your character perhaps. This is just my suggestion.

I don't see any problem though. I'm not really into exclusivity in roleplays, I don't "Reserve" other players, ever. It's more of an -Observe, Ponder, React- style I'm adopting to posts. So you're very welcome to join in if you like.
