That was fast. I guess carrying your application over from another RP works out in your favor. A quick inspection makes it seem like an all right format, if a bit excessive. I'll give it a read through in a bit.
The Stars Themselves

We are still accepting new players.

Introduction
The Stars Themselves is a sci-fi nation roleplay with a focus on a number of interstellar factions. It takes place in a small section of a single galactic arm, several dozen lightyears across and filled with hundreds upon hundreds of stars. There is no pre-described background history the players must build their factions around, to allow for the most creative freedom. The Stars Themselves is a character-driven nation roleplay, with the plot progressed and told by individuals within the story, rather than played out as an impersonal strategy game of grand scale.

Rules
Do not Metagame: Metagaming is the act of using information derived through out-of-character experience, discussion, or reading to use in-character when said character(s) do not possess such experience or knowledge.
Do not Godmod: Godmodding is the act of treading on another player’s domain through the control of their characters, factions, or other such in-character constructs, whether that be their actions, reactions, or thoughts.
Do not Powergame: Powergaming is the act of abusing the mechanics or rules of a system to gain an advantage, and otherwise treating the roleplay as a competitive game rather than collaborative storytelling.
And above all
Maintain the Verisimilitude and Fun of the roleplay

Here's a simple hexmap. Just tell me what hexes you've claimed, either by posting the numbers or filling in the map yourself. Each hex will roughly represent a parsec, but not every hex has a star, so you may end up with some empty hexes as part of your territory. I'd recommend selecting which hexes have systems you control, first, and then connecting them with empty hexes. You can open the image in a new tab for better zooming. Right-click. Map will be updated as players are accepted.

I'm using an IRC channel on the Mibbit network as a chat for the roleplay. You can connect by joining #tst at this link (http://client00.chat.mibbit.com/).

Or, if you have an IRC client, the server is irc.mibbit.com and the channel is #tst.
Link or post your application in the OOC below. I'll inform you if your application is accepted or if it needs some more work. After you've been accepted, you are free to begin posting in the IC. Remember to post or PM when you've finished a WIP, so I know to go back and review it for acceptance.

Also interested. By any chance, will it be possible to play good ol' humans? Preferably based out of Earth.

Yes, humans will be allowed. However, the RP is set in an unspecific part of an unspecific galaxy, so Earth may or may not be present. I'll think about it.

I'd like it to be known that if only one Human nation is available, I totally called it first. If two are though we should totally have an entwined history.

I think it'll be "first come, first serve" as far as humans are concerned. I'm not putting a hard limit on the number of human factions, but human applicants should probably have a chat with each other. Again, first come, first serve.
I'm glad to see so much interest in this. I'll leave the interest check up for another couple of hours, and then I'll post the OOC thread and start accepting applications. Thanks to everyone for expressing their interest.

Sentient robots :0? Yes or no

Sentient robots are certainly acceptable. I'm interested in seeing how you'll pull it off.

If you're interested in participating, please post. I am willing to answer any questions in this thread regarding the roleplay, as well.

Assuming sufficient interest, the official thread will be posted within a few days. In the mean time, interested posters are free to begin working on their factions.
Wrong thread.
