Emerald nodded in agreement, anyone who didn't like cookies was crazy. When Skyra asked if she was injured she frowned slightly and nodded. Her frown didn't last very long as Skyra proceeded to stick out her tongue and act like a goof. Emerald couldn't help but giggle, even without the paid meds she was rather easy to amuse.
"I like you, you're silly." Emerald grinned briefly, then her expression sobered up a bit. "Yeah I got hurt pretty bad...my whole team did." She gestured to her teammates nearby. "Got some nasty gashes on my arms and back...and I got stabbed in the gut, pretty lame for my first mission ever." Emerald flinched just thinking about when she got stabbed, almost as if she could recall exactly how it felt when it happened.
"I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to sleep properly again, been having these vivid nightmares...which is like really lame cause I love sleeping!"

Ah yes, Uncle Cider. The best chef in Vacuo. You know he was the first, and perhaps currently the only one, who has tamed Grimm using food? His Semblace is "Soul Food" where everything he cooks, even a cup of water or some ice, can restore your aura. His fancier meals can even grant you powers. Some say that his meals can even bring back the dead. Of course these are just rumors... One of them is a rumor anyways.
So he's the soul chef?
Hmm if beacon fell Emerald would try to stick with as many of her friends as she could. Besides if she was all by her lonesome she'd probably die or get kidnapped. XD
