Digimon: Cyber Beasts

@DoubleYeah he supposedly evolves into Justicemon, but as I'm not too familiar with him and mainly that he seems to require 3 other Digimon to fully function (he is from after Season 3) I picked another Digimon that would be easier to fit in and not seem too weird for Gazimon to digivolve into. Wasn't sure how you wanted the tree system to work, so I went off into a variation like they do sometimes in the extended universe. But I can change it and work Justicemon in if you prefer! I also thought Beezlemon would add more to the story but I don't honestly care too much one way or the other.

Not sure if you want to approve my Digimon before I post in the character section, so here are my character sheets with some details still in work!

Name: Zakai Hidetsugu

Notable Talents/Skills: B level parkour athlete.
Card Deck: Utilizes a speed and accuracy based deck to boost Gazimon's natural agility, as well as a few defensive cards to raise Gazimon's low defense in critical situations.

Personality: Zakai appears to be the silent and cool type, but in reality he just speaks few words. Unless he's opening his mouth to explain something of interest, Zakai is usually making short sarcastic comments about how a bad a situation or person could end up. It's not that he has ill intention however, but rather that his humor is off and society usually pegs him as an anti-social weirdo. Once you get to know him, you still may not like him, but you might keep him around anyway because he tends to be loyal and willing to commit acts that no one else would. You just have to learn to deal with no compliments and having to decipher Zakai's at times cryptic language.

Background: Born to a Japanese father and American mother, Zakai already appeared to be a stranger in someone else's land. Growing up he was typically alienated not only due to his heritage but his uncanny interests. For example, as a kid, he was always more enthralled with super villains rather than super heroes. It wasn't that he was a bad kid, he just thought they were cooler and had better stories. It could be because he saw the world as it was, not through rose colored lenses like the other children around him. His father was obsessed with work and his mother never stopped dreaming of home. So naturally, his parents didn't have the best relationship and whether they intended it to or not, it got affected the way they treated Zakai. Once he was 17 his parents divorced, his mother returning home and his father continuing to focus on his work. A year later Zakai moved out, having little concern for his parents or any friends. Again, it wasn't that Zakai had ill intention. But he became accustomed to being alone. One thing that really helped him stay happy and entertained throughout his entire life, was his love for Digimon. As a kid he would lose himself to the anime and all the digital figures he could collect. Now he has become quite the Digi gamer, and has an impressive collection of near 1,000 Digimon figures. Perhaps his most colorful and joyful interest, others still look at Zakai strangely for collecting Digimon throughout his adulthood.

Personality: Being a virus Digimon and thus seen as a devious character, Gazimon does not trust nor make relationships easily. Embracing his near criminal image, he will work with others but is always looking to benefit the most from every situation. Despite being prideful Gazimon is not a fool as others mistakenly believe; he has street smarts in the Digital World and will not place himself in harm's way easily.

So definitely interested, though I haven't watched Season 3 in a long while. I'm catching up on Digimon Adventure now before I watch all the movies.

Out in a rural town, on a cold winter night, three children wandered out into the snow. Dressed in costume to celebrate and honor nature and the mythical forces around them, they heard a spine chilling scream out there in the snow. But it was what the children would see that changed their lives forever. What haunted them, forever.

So! Just to get an interest check, I want to see who's interested in a story revolving around three children that . . .
witness a supernatural being known as the infamous Krampus. Usually he only appears to those he is taking/murdering. But the children, hearing the scream and following it, see this horrible act in front of them. And he notices. This causes him to mark them, which in return changes their lives forever. They run and find safety with a local. Only to find out that Krampus will not stop pursuing the children until they are either dead or captured. Even if he takes many other victims before then, he will never forget their scent or their faces. He will eventually track them down and kill them.

Sympathetic to the children's fate, someone intervenes in their fate and sends them on their way to try and have a small feeble chance of surviving. Due their mark of death and experiences with magic, they begin to see and do things they never could have before. They can see, for example, a Domovoi, or house spirit, seen only by those that will soon perish. By running and learning more about magic, the children mature quickly-almost supernaturally-and slowly begin to empower themselves more and more.

Now bond together not only through friendship but a death pact with Krampus himself, the children must endure horrid monsters and demons as they try to escape his reach, as they try to empower themselves.

No matter how far they must run.

No matter how hard they must fight.

They must continue.
Or else . . .

The children will share newfound senses, and each have their own unique abilities based on their personality and costumes. They will will gradually over time become something other than human. And they will face many horrific monsters and demons on their path. We can accelerate time if necessary, but basically I want the characters to get wrapped up in battles and investigations involving Russian and other mythological creatures.

This can be a group roleplay of 3-4 players (a friend could be added in the story, maybe not directly marked).
It can also be a two player roleplay with multiple characters played.

Let me know if you are interested and I can share more info, such as creature and plot ideas!
We can also brainstorm together as well.

I really see the story starting out simple and broad and elaborating more and more on the creatures as the story goes.

I'm new to the site so I'm going to add a few notes as to what I'm looking for requirement wise

-I consider myself a decent writer and although I don't mind writing with various different writing levels, I do expect paragraph (never less than one) responses and proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc.

-Basic roleplay rules apply, such as no god-modding

-Fair player response time; as in, let everyone have a turn before continuing a rotation unless the story or player dictates.

Hello everyone!

I stumbled upon this site after searching through many others, in hopes of finding a multi-genre site that has very active users and outgoing posts. The "Top Roleplay Sites" are often anything but in terms of consistency so I don't really trust sites' claims.

After checking the Advanced Roleplay section here I saw that each topic had been updated in the last 24 hours, which is better than others I've seen, so I'm hoping I can actually get some live roleplays going here o: I've joined a few different roleplay sites over the years trying to find a good group roleplay site but have yet to find a suitable forum. I see this one was established in 2007 and still seems pretty active with stories from a year ago still on page one! My first and best forum experience (years ago) was suddenly and tragically ended with no explanation or warning so I am hoping I can have a good experience here (:

With that being said, it's been almost a year since my last forum join and I'm getting the urge to get some ideas out there again. I've been writing on a book here and there (between producing music), but can use some breaking in again I'm sure. I have been roleplaying for 12 years and writing for as long as I can remember. I enjoy writing various genres but primarily enjoy writing fantasy and sci-fi. I am interested in 1 x 1 roleplays but I really love good group roleplays!

It may be an odd time to want to write, but I have a winter themed idea (ish) and when you get the feeling it takes control.

Anything else you'd like to know, feel free to ask! I'll be posting up a topic soon enough so you can learn more on my writing style and interests!
