@ActRaiserTheReturned The Flaxans' dimension has a different timestream. One year in was a few hours out. Later, others go for a few months on Earth, and spend over 700 years in their dimension.
Ah, I didn't know. I only know that he killed the GoTG. It should be noted that Merlin's power is probably not enough to take on the GoTG. Omniman, though he took a lot of damage, did quite a bit more than I think Merlin could have.
@ActRaiserTheReturned Yeah that's what I was referring to. Decimating one planet took Nolan a year, and it's something he has a lot of practice doing. He only succeeded because the Flaxans usually bully dimensions with worse technology than theirs, and weren't preapred for a real fight. I don't think that qualifies him as a "galactic" threat.
I might have needed to pay more attention to what was going on, but it looked like Omniman took less than a day to do it.
@ActRaiserTheReturned Not really sure what scale or standards you're using, but in the case of Omniman it took him about year to nearly eradicate the Flaxans, who only had one planet.
@Mintz Well hopefully she doesn't get gimped too much. Unlike your supermans of the world Viltrumites don't do much besides their flying brick deal. Really their only powers are 1. Go fast 2. Punch hard 3. Never die.
Merlin's out lier for his power makes him continental in attack potency. Omniman is Galactic isn't he?
Between Jason and now Conker, I have a true fear for the state of this RP. Although I'm afraid since I'm trying to avoid things that are too mature, Conker might not be able to shine if you can call it that as much as he ought to. Just a fair warning.
As for @ActRaiserTheReturned The sheet itself is fine (although I feel like a few details might've been skimped in that stunningly short bio...), but I'll be placing some limiting factors on Merlin's skillset, which I'll be putting here.
Healing - I'll probably have his ability to heal others weakened just on the fact that things get less interesting if there's someone who can immediately patch up your broken arm or whatnot. He'll still be able to manage things like that, but it'll just take more time and probably be inconvenient for heat-of-the-moment stuff.
Time Manipulation - As will any other entity with time-based powers, they'll find that talent difficult to use and maintain in the Paradox Engine; not saying it'll be impossible, but he'll find using it to come with far more difficulty than normal, and last for quite the short duration.
Summoning/Animal Manipulation - This is a double-up because both bits don't need much. Summoning, well...I'd just like more specifics. What exactly is he summoning? As for the Animal Manipulation, I'll say that while he can pull this trick on most lesser reptiles, they'll now find dragons and similarly massive, intelligent reptiles to be more resilient to the effect. This is really just so I can still have cool incidents with those kinds of creatures that Merlin doesn't immediately turn off by existing lol.
Power Nullification - I think that term might be a bit too broad...It seems more like it'd be Magic Nullification? Er, regardless, while it already requires prep time, I'll say it might take more now, because being able to null any being's abilities, even only those who use Magic or something similar, is very powerful, and typically very lame to deal with lol.
Extremely high resistance to Magic - Not opposed to him being a lot tougher than most when it comes to dealing with magic, but this'll probably be lightened enough that enemy spellcasters and the sort could pose a threat to him.
Alright, limitations done! When you can, prepare a hider for Merlin and feel free to place him in Characters.
All acceptable stuff. Oh, and I doubt he can do much summoning in the role play, except for maybe ghosts, and I've never seen him command them.
Personality: Merlin is very clever and intelligent. He is generally benevolent but he can be overly aggressive if he thinks that someone is a threat to something/someone he loves. When Mordred was prophecied to kill Arthur, Merlin was cruel to him, despite Mordred being an honorable man.
Biography: Merlin arrived in Camelot at the age of eighteen. He was young and, despite having very little of his power by that age, he was still capable of amazing things that were unheard of. After saving the old physician, Gaius'es life, he became his apprentice. Later he saved Prince Arthur's life and became his man servant. Over the years Merlin grew in power and knowledge, and he eventually became the most powerful sorcerer in the history of the Old Religion.
Powers/Skills: Merlin is a physician, alchemist, swordsman and sorcerer. Immortality (He doesn't age and has a moderate healing factor), Expert Swordsman and marksman, Skilled Physician and Alchemist, Enhanced Senses (Could sense powerful magic, such as the Mage Stone and the Cup of Life), Healing(Could cure Morgana from her cranium wound, negated the effects of several poisons and could heal normal wounds), Regeneration (Mid-Low. Comparable to Morgana, who was stabbed in the side of her body, and was constantly wounded fataly, only to sluggishly escape the battle field and return fully healed), Time Manipulation (he can temporarily stop time in a localized area) Telekinesis, Energy Projection (Can throw blasts of raw magical power, through the use of Sophia's Sidhe staff) Magic Shields, Telepathy, Death Manipulation (Through ritual, and if I recall only by accident, Merlin killed a patient when casting a healing spell, which caused the patient's amulet to have a negative reaction) Necromancy, Elemental Manipulation, Fire Manipulation, Air Manipulation, Weather Manipulation, Lightning Strikes, Transmutation, Summoning, Shapeshifting (Transformed briefly into an old woman as Disguise) Animal Manipulation (Can command and bend any dragon, wyvern to his will and also commanded a snake once), Age Manipulation (Knows and regularly uses a spell which turns him into an 80 year-old man) Precognition (With the Crystal of Neahtid and the crystals in the Crystal Cave) Power Nullification with preparation time (Was able to block Morgana's powers), Resistance to Death Manipulation (Survived the Dorocha's touch, which kills on contact) extremely high Resistance to Magic
Other: My favorite super power might just be spellcasting.
While I would love to review this sheet and give my thoughts, you're missing a certain something that you were supposed to add from the rules section...
