Jett was sick of his room so he decided to go outside for a bit and get some fresh air under a tree. His head still was hurting and he didn’t really understand why, after being healed by the nurse he yet was able to teleport and still had a constant migrane.

He made his way to what seemed like a sucluded spot and sat in the grass under a tree. He had his headphones on and listened to some calming piano music as he tried to ‘relearn’ his quirk. Music had helped him greatly before, thanks to Haruka’s help.

Taking a few long and deep breaths he tried to focus. Closing his eyes and enjoying the warmth of the sun on his face. Rolling up the sleeves of his casual buttondown shirt loosely he rested his elbows on his knees as he leaned against the tree. As much as he tried to focus, his thoughts had turned to Haruka, feeling the necklace on his chest and doing an exercise that she suggested, it was hard not to think about her, and alll the things that happened a few days before. Finding out that she lost her leg, losing her dream, not being able to become a hero with him.

Not long after he was thinking thise thoughts they all seemed to blurr together and he wouldn’t realize that he had fallen asleep.

Jais Looked at Mina and shrugged. A Few things actually if you really look. They don't all revolve around the fight. But your actions and decisions you made leading up to it is something to look at. Perhaps finding something that would have been helpful to use against an armored foe. But most importantly I think is the ability to understand failure. This is your first real loss I'm sure... and there will be others. There will always be a stronger or more dangerous opponent in the future that you will lose many battles with. But its what you do about it that will help you achieve the final victory of the war.

He crouched down so he was eye level with Mina. Though his eyes seemed to just look through hers. We all have our weaknesses, while you are ahead of the curve...you must find out for yourself what you still need to work on. A true hero realizes this, and continually tries to better him/herself. I still learn myself at my old age..." He said with a chuckle...hoping she realized why he is saying this.

I can't give you the answers, but I will be more than happy to help you find them. He raised his hand and patted her head gently.

Adriane didn't move an inch as the taller girl tried to intimidate her. She just stood there, with her arms crossed and bit her tongue. She listened, and grew irritated at the girls outlook of the world. But she took a deep long breath before shaking her head. You just do not understand. Your mother did not hold back at all. Sure she couldn't defeat that swordsman, You think she made the 'weak choice' by holding back and dying? She did what any real mother would and protect her child. Even if that meant her own death. She was a True hero at the end.

She paused for a moment. Her eyes never leaving the girls. You spit on her memory by not living up to be half the woman she was, for what she stood for. Yes what that boy did was uncalled for, and as much as I hate him for what he did to my son and Mina, or what he was planning, I still don't think he should get a bullet in the head. Because yes, YOU ARE CHILDREN. You are here to LEARN. Taking steps to be ready for the outside world. You have Four years to do that. You don't need to go all out from the get go. And CERTAINTLY Don't need to be killing other students. I don't give a shit about your reasoning for what that boy did. You are Wrong for going for the headshot. You want to live with the consequences for that? You can go to prison if you like for attempted murder. See how that fits into your plan for 'revenge'

As the wolves of Hades creation launched at them, he stayed near Michiko and Kaida. He was ready for the sudden attack. He didn’t even both gracing Hades with a reply as he moved forward and slashed with with a single blow, cutting throw one. He had noticed the other was trying to flank him as much as he could in the alley, but turned his attention to the two coming at his sister, pulling his gun with a swift motion, he barely aimed before squeezing the trigger three times. All three shots hitting center mass of the creature.

He then turned back to his second one and raised his arm, the wolves maw was aimed at his throat, but got his forearm instead. The force and weight of the creature knocked Takeshi down and they both rolled a few times before Takeshi managed to slice his blade into the belly of the beast.

Michiko was glad Takeshi shot the second one, she was skilled with a blade, but not as nearly as he. She couldn't take on two of them, but she knew she could handle one. She raised her blade horizontally and lowered her stance, enough to give her enough strength to withstand the force behind this wolf attack.

She wrestled with the wolf for a moment, as its jaws were now clenched around her blade. She tried twisting it back and forth, nearly losing it as the wolf Jerked his head back just like a dog would in a tug of war. She Knew she couldn’t rip her sword out so she used her right knee and gave the wolf a quick hard knee in the chin. Giving her enough time after he released it to cut off it’s head.

She looked over to Takeshi Just as he sliced the belly of the second beast and turned his attention to Hades, Without hesitating he raised his gun and fired three more shots at the older one.

The group was in the shop for a short time, only time to really glance at the menu after settling down. The shop was full and so busy that they would have to wait a minute to even give their order. While Michiko was busy showing Kaida the top 20 favorite Ramen on her list, Takeshi was quiet. He normally kept to himself, but in all honesty he had never been with friends out for food. He was unsure what to say or even do, so he sat visually uncomfortable in his situation, just because he didn’t really know what to do or say, So he just watched Michiko and Kaida as she was engrossed with the list and possible choices for her first bowl of Ramen.

He looked to Reina and was trying to think of what to say to start a conversation...which was odd as he spoke to her many times while training with her...but this was different. He didn’t have much time to think as suddenly from the front of the store there was screaming then an earth shattering crash as the glass and front of the store exploded from a Bus slamming sideways into the building, blocking the exit and causing massive amounts of dust to cover the restaurant. The force was enough to send the group flying to the floor, catching everyone off guard.

By the time they would get up, other customers were screaming and scrambling to get to their feet. Surprisingly, none of them were seriously injured. But What was scaring them was the fact the bus was now somehow on fire, and quickly. The store owner was calling out to everyone to exit the back of the building to get away from the smoke which was quickly filling the room.

Takeshi looked to the bus, but didn’t see much from the fire billowing out from the windows. He froze when he saw a single silhouette that seemed to be staring at him from within the bus. But as quickly as he saw it, it vanished.

The owner then forced them to exit out the back as well, as they were the last of the group inside the restaurant. Only to find themselves in a darkened alley filled with heavy smoke...Despite the ramen shop being full, not a single customer was in the alley, except for one silhouette at one end.

This commotion was far west from where Acion and Aurellia were searching...opposite of their view.

Jais Looked at Mina silently for a bit. He glanced over as he heard another girl speaking. It was quite rude of her to jump into their conversation, and had an already he had an issue with the girl with her view point. Yet again another flawed view. One that will hurt more students than ever needs be. But onto a more urgent issue... As he noticed how Mina was standing, and seeing with his ears the fact that she was crying and angry.

He folded his hands behind his back and waited till he found the right words, after thinking about what had happened to her and how hard she pushed herself up to this point. He's seen this many many times with past students, his own son, and grandson. "So I've been noticing you have been failing...a lot lately." He said calmly and with a relaxed look on his face. He let that sink in for a moment, waiting to see her reaction for a moment before adding. You are also failing at failing... He said in what sounded almost amused.

Surely this would confuse the girl, as it did with everyone he used that phrase on. But he loved to see the reactions and seeing their minds try to make sense of what he said. "Failing is an integral part of success. Small, or Big. All of them are experienced by every successful person, including myself. " He said calmly, tapping his cane once or twice during so he could continue seeing her reaction. It is ok to feel anger though, its inevitable. But allowing it control you is why you are failing at failing.
Calm yourself, and look back at your recent failures...Know there will always be someone stronger than you, someone smarter, faster. You can let that failure remain a failure... or make that failure turn into a future success by learning from it and not allowing it to drag you down.

He tilted his head to the side. Jett didn't have full control of his quirk till he was around 10. He would suddenly teleport for no reason multiple times a day. Despite his mother working with him every day, Jett was a failure for the longest time. But he realized his weakness... while trying to make it better, he looked to other things that would help him become a hero that didn't rely on his quirk.
Not just fighting, but he expanded his knowledge to random things...
He sighed "Like hot wiring a car, or using a chain to knock out power to the building. Or using bleach to escape from Yukari. He learned all these things because he knew his quirk wasn't reliable all the time, or that he would fight people with quirks that he couldn't counter. His fight with Amane, He was fighting a larger opponent, with out his quirk, just to get him away from you. Yet he did a fair job because he learned from past failures in fights at school."

He placed a hand ontop of Mina's head and finally finished, "The point i'm trying to say, is it's OK to fail. As long as you Learn from it, and see it as a springboard to success. You will become an even better hero.

Adriane shrugged her shoulders. Could have fooled me with the lasers and the full force round house punches. She said sarcastically to her when she said she wasn't fighting in Ernest. But before she could add more, another student butted into their conversation. She gave a cold glare even worse than she gave Mina,

To spar is to hold back, to not seriously hurt your partner...its also known as 'practice' God what are they teaching kids these days. What you described as 'training' is a fight, or Duel. Which is required to have a teacher present to make sure things go to far.

She waved her hand with rapid motions before adding "Now get out of here, I need to have a word with Dulga in private. She said with an irritated voice. She then took Dulga by the arm gently and pulled her along away from the awkward girl. "I was asked to come back to talk to you about your attempted head shot in the last exercise. She said in a quiet tone, so the other girl would not hear them, as it this was a private matter. You should have never of done that. NEVER go for a kill shot, even if it is a rubber bullet. That is only for last choice scenario's that never occur in training."

She stopped and looked up at dulga in the eyes. "Your mother never went for the kill, she never really liked even using a gun, and tried to make her shots less lethal as possible...hence her trick shots."

Adriane eyed both the girls with her left brow raised. Mina looked pitiful and Dulga seemed to snap out of it, But she knew the girl was about to deliver a full on punch with her strength. Yet she only apologized for antagonizing the other girl. She seemed to ignore Dulga for a moment when she asked if they could stand up. trying to cover her face which only made Adriane narrow her eyes.

Sighing irritably. "I Suppose... She said, uncrossing her legs and slamming her feet down, standing up. which wasn't much as she stood at 5'2". She then reached out both hands to the girls to help them up. While Looking at Dulga. despite looking like your mother... you sure don't act like her. Put your hands down already will ya? Its awkward to see a strong girl like yourself worried about some burns.

"Not everyone wears each scar like a badge of Honor like you Adriane... Jais said more sympathetically.

Yeah yeah what ever. she said waving her arms in a dismissing action.

"Anyways, Training is fine and dandy. But that wasn't training...that was being stupid. Tell me if I'm wrong...but using your quirk to actually harm your sparing opponent makes it a fight and not a spar anymore correct? She gave a pointed Glare, that despite her size actually looked genuinely threatening. But she looked doubly at Mina. Even though Dulga received the same look.

After they would try and say something or nothing, Jais motioned towards Mina and beckoned her over. Perhaps we should talk separately, Miss Kaskue, if you would follow me over here please. He said motioning towards the far corner of the room.

Takeshi had glanced over to Riena when she spoke up for him. A slight hint of a smile on his face. Thankful and surprised that she would speak up and defend him as well. She made a very valid point as well. Glancing at Sarge once more with a glare that was as sharp as his sword, he waited till the man finally backed down.

Michiko was annoyed and honestly surprised that the head of security was giving them a hard time. Sure the reason they were here was not normal, and their history was not like anyone else's that would have normally attended this school, but Takeshi did everything they asked and required of him so far.

Roy pushed them forward, which pleased both of them. When Kaida asked what ramen was, and Reina explained, Michiko nodded vigorously. “Ramen is the best! How can you not have had Ramen?!” Michiko knew she was from France, But there was sure to be Ramen there as well as well!? Even americans had ramen...though it was crap.

Takeshi glanced at Michko with a raised brow and she shrugged, To her it was a legitimate question. Even their family, the oddest of them all, still ate Ramen pretty regularly.

Adraine and Jais were watching Mina and Dulga while they were sparing. The principle had asked Adriane to come back and speak with Dulga about her actions in the exercise. Jais was also asked to talk to Mina, as she had been exhibiting some negative behavior ever since her run in with Amane.

The spar suddenly escalated quickly into a fight and Adriane sighed in annoyance. She suddenly vanished in a puff of black smoke as Jais slowly made his way towards the two. Dulga and Mina would both see another puff of black smoke between them and before they would realize what was happening, they were both warped and repositioned to where Dulga was on the ground, Mina laying on top of her sideways, and Adriane sitting on top of both of them, her legs crossed and arms folded. ”Alright, Fun is over Ladies.”

She reached down and poked both of them square in the middle of their foreheads. ”Time for both of you to have a little ‘chat’ with us.” Because it was their first time teleporting, they were sure to feel suddenly sick from the disorientation. But not to the point of actually throwing up.

Jais was standing just above them as well. He tilted his head so he was in line with theirs. Sorry about that. But we can't have you guys actually hurting each other...it seems your class likes to take it a bit far too often. He looked directly at Mina. Especially you young lady, you should be resting after what happened a few days ago.

Takeshi stopped when Sarge got in their way, being very antagonistic to him for just being here. He was strongly against Takeshi even being at the school since he first learned of him and his past. Even with all his explaining he still didn’t give him the benefit of the doubt.

“Last time I checked I wasn’t living in a prison.” Takeshi said coldly, back to the bigger man. As many would have gotten nervous around a hulking ‘security guard’, Takeshi was undaunted. He gave a sigh when he mentioned him armed as well, and needing to give him a good explanation. “Need to pick up some supplies. I’m armed because I have a licence to carry them as you already know, and you know well enough that there are many Villians out there." He said raising an eyebrow as if trying to rely a secret message through it.

“I'm certainly not letting my sister to go out there ALONE. With how active the villains are.” He said with a slight irritation in his voice. “So if you like to point out something I actually did wrong, go ahead. If not, go flex your muscles somewhere else to a student who actually deserves it.”

Reina Mori

Roy Kusayanagi

Takeshi glanced over when someone spoke to him, seeing it was Roy he bowed his head slightly in hello. He straightened himself and turned towards Roy, giving him his full attention and respect. ”Hello Kusaynagi, I’m currently waiting on my little sister Michiko. We are going into town. She needs some stuff for school, While I need some new clothes myself…”

He was actually looking to find a hero suit maker and design some more normal casual attire that was similar to his Trench coat. Making kevlar shirts and light jackets.

He glanced at Roy’s attire and asked. “You going to train?” He had noticed Roy leaving the dorms every day now, and it was clear he was training hard. “Perhaps one of these days we can train together? I’ve noticed that our quirks are very similar. We could possibly help each other.”

Roy was thrown off when Takeshi bowed at him, he was expecting him to say something edgy, he felt pretty bad now that he judged the guy. I mean that's pretty much everyone else thinks about him, the guy tried to hide electric burns and act like he was fine. When he brought up clothes Roy thought about how his clothes got ruined when he went out with Acion for a run.

“I know how you feel about the clothes”

The blonde had an idea of what he would buy, since he has met Yashiro he has always wore neutral colors. He asked Roy about what his plans were.

“Yeah I planned on getting my regular sesh in...but when you bring up clothes I actually need some supplies to clean one of my outfits.” Roy began scratching the back of his head nervously, he hoped that Yashiro didn’t ask why because he was not supposed to speak of that day. His clothes were pretty much stained with another person's blood, it’d look strange if he tried cleaning that out with others around.

“If you don’t mind, i’d like to come along with you. I could always just train when I comeback I suppose. Besides I could help you pick out some clothes that isn’t black or white. I’m sure Michiko would be pleased to see you in something with color”

Takeshi glanced down at his clothes as Roy mentioned the colors. There’s something wrong with Black and white?” He asked with a raised eyebrow with a genuine look of confusion. Growing up in his home, one did not wear too much color. Not to bring attention to themselves as much as possible. “I don’t see anything wrong with it.”

Reina paused at Michiko’s question, glancing towards Kaida in something that resembled subdued confusion. No one needed her permission to do anything… and it wasn’t often that her opinion had ever been asked for. The girl shook her head slightly. “Yeah, that’s fine,” she said. It was actually more than fine. Reina liked Kaida well enough from what she had seen of the girl, and the more people around, the less she’d be expected to help carry a conversation. Not a talent of hers.

When Reina agreed, Michiko quickly wrapped her arms around each of the other girls, and pulled them along. ” This is gonna be great! If Takeshi wasn’t coming it would be a girls night!” It didn’t take them long to go down the two flights of stairs and make it outside where Takeshi was waiting for them. Except it wasn’t only Takeshi as Roy was standing there talking to him as well.

Kaida eyes widened at the sight of Roy and looked away, redness in her cheeks as she didn’t know what to say to him. She just grabbed her left wrist with her right hand and waited for them to finish talking.

Roy couldn’t help but chuckle at Takeshi not finding anything wrong with his choice of fashion, “wearing neutral colors isn’t the problem. It's the fact that those are the only two colors you wear. People might start looking at you strangely because of it. Even if its a little, adding some red and blue into the mix can’t hurt right?”

He heard the front door to the boarding house open in which both him and Takeshi turned to see who had come and out the door came Michiko, Reina, and…

Kaida?

Damn...did she look good. Roy watched as she walked out the building without blinking once, before he could notice him looking at her he turned back to Takeshi leaning in a little bit. ”You never told me that Kaida was coming along.” he said with a low whisper. His heart was beating pretty fast and his cheeks turned a light shade of red. ”You know maybe I should rest today. Training hard everyday can cause negative effects” . At this point Takeshi would have got the memo and know the guy was just bullshitting.

You can’t blame a teenage boy though.

Takeshi raised an eyebrow when he noticed Michiko dragging along Reina and Kaida. Sighing inwardly, he knew his sister through and through… she purposely dragged two pretty girls along to get him to talk to them. Michiko had a smug smile on her face, as if she could read her brothers mind. He glanced at Roy when he leaned in closer and whispered. Seeing his face turn red at the mention of Kadia. With the pitiful excuse he cooked up as well, he could have just left it at getting some new clothes and didn’t need to add another reason. But it was clear he liked her.

He wouldn’t say it, but he was glad she convinced Reina to come. He smiled at the group as they approached.

“I honestly didn’t know...Michiko grabbed both of them without telling me. But if you ask them, I’m sure you can tag along?”

His heart began beating a bit faster, now he had to walk up to the group of 3 and ask to come along. With how things been between the two he was sure so much.

Don't be such a chicken just do it. You have nothing to lose!

”I’m sure your sister wouldn’t mind. I’ll be back then”

And with that he turned around once more. He already had what he was going to say planned out. As he walked over to the 3 girls he greeting them by waving his hand.

”Hey, Takeshi told me you all were going into town to day to do some shopping. I was hoping to tag along, I need a couple of things as well… When he first started talking he was looking at Michiko but his eyes slowly trailed off and made its way onto Kaida. She looked even better up close, he could see she was even wearing makeup.

Michiko cocked her head to the side when Roy walked up to her and asked if he could come. She noticed his slow glance over to Kaida and giggled. “I’m ok with it!” She said while glancing over at Kaida, who was just as red as Roy. Reina simply shrugged and gave a small nod.

“Nope! Takeshi is the only boy allowed.” Kaida said as she folded her arms.

He smiled when Michiko said yes, though suddenly Kaida abruptly said nope and said Takeshi was the only boy allowed. His smile stayed on his face, it was always cute seeing a small girl try and be angry. For some reason he wasn’t nervous this time, he was kinda happy actually that she spoke up.

”Why can’t I come then Kaida? A pretty lady needs a man to escort her places, and Takeshi has to take care of his sister.”

“Takeshi looks like he’s a man enough to protect all three of us..” She said glancing at the other boy. Noticing he was wearing his swords on his hip. Wondering why he felt it was needed to go into town with them. But while she was half joking with Roy, she kinda hoped he didn’t come, so he didn’t ask about her quirk again.

“I suppose you’re right...but the more the better. Thanks Michiko! I’ll change my clothes really quick then” He walked through the front door and closed it behind him before running full sprint up the stairs and into his dorm. Once inside he fumbled to take off his black t-shirt to the point where he messed up his hair a bit. Roy threw the piece of clothing onto his bed before taking off sweatpants next and kicking it into the corner of his room. He was ecstatic to have a chance to patch things up with Kaida.

Roy opened up his closet and pulled out a pair of blue jeans and a belt, he quickly put one leg inside the pant holes. He was moving so rapidly that when he tried to put the other leg in he lost balance and began hopping on one foot as he tried to stay on his feet. Eventually he crashed into his wall stopping the fall.

”Dammnit”

He put the other leg in and pulled the pants all the way up to his waist before putting his belt on. Roy then grabbed a blue polo shirt from his closet putting it on quickly and buttoning it up. The boy then put on some black dress shoes before rushing into the bathroom to comb his hair back into place. He gave himself one last look in the mirror to make sure everything was alright before grabbing his wallet, phone, and room key and headed back to the others.

”Sorry for the wait guys but I am ready to go now”

Kaida was taken back that he just went with it and ran off. She got a bit flustered and started fidgeting with her purse. She hoped he didn’t see it as an opportunity to ask about her quirk again…But when he came back, she noticed his change in clothes… into a polo and Jeans. It was odd seeing him in anything else but gym clothes or school clothes. She didn’t say anything but started to walk with Takeshi and Michiko.

When Roy came back the group headed off to the town. Michiko noticed how Kadia was acting but didn’t say anything. “First! Lets go get some food. I’m hungry!” She said trying to lighten the mood.

He noticed Kaida acting weird but decided not to say anything at the moment, he’d rather not put her on the spot like that. Instead he just went along with what Michiko suggested, “Any restaurants you have in mind Michiko?”

“The ones that Make FOOD” She said laughing. Knowing that’s not what he meant. “I don’t know, RAMEN!” She said making an executive decision.
