Personally I like 3 better. But they're both great games. Neither is a waste of money.

I thought I had a good relationship with my mom. But the way she's been treating me today makes me think otherwise.

I'll be 20 in a little over a month and know exactly what I want to do with my life. Guess I'm one of the lucky ones.

I'll post again tomorrow. I would have today, but I've been really tired.
Abel sat leaned forward at the table in the meeting room. One arm rested flat on said table, the other he was using to rest his chin in. A smirk painted his lips as he very obviously stared at the two new girls in the room. Unfortunately, for him at least, they were underage. Which meant he could look all he wanted, but touching wasn't allowed. Even he had his boundaries. They were just much harder to reach than that of a normal person. Either that or, he was much more in touch with his perverted side that other people were. He could never tell. One day somebody would ignore his advances, then the next they'd be making advances on him.

The clinking of chains could be heard as Abel shifted positions. As usual he had his chain whips wrapped around his arms, with the darts at the end safely in their place so nobody got hurt. Though most people would dislike constantly having chains on them, he had learned to like it. It was constant comfort in a world that was ever changing. And he liked it in more ways than one, if his provocative shirt had anything to say about the matter. "She's late..." He muttered mostly to himself. Their esteemed leader seemed to be taking more time that she thought. But there was nothing that could be done about it, but wait.

Finally she appeared and as usual, turned on some music. As she did, Abel leaned back in his chair, and crossed one leg over the other. Listening as she explained to them that the next few weeks were going to be busy. Then she laid down the missions. Abel leaned in once again to get a closer look, chains clacking against the table once more. Abel caught a glimpse of the words on the paper from underneath his glasses, and frowned at the squiggles. Deep blue eyes swept across the missions as he looked for one that suited him. He spotted several with the title Witch hunt, and picked one at random.

Abel didn't care what type of Witch he got to hunt down, as long as it was something he needed to kill and not bring back alive. He wasn't very good at that. Of course he had picked out the most annoying one. "Ooh, this Witch specializes in poisons." He said, getting the feeling that everybody was happy that he had gotten this one. It wasn't exactly a secret that he wasn't well liked because of his provocative personality. If he got poisoned and died, he didn't have anybody who would miss him. In fact, if he wasn't a human with a Strong Soul, he probably wouldn't have been asked to join AID.
I've been busy. Should be getting a post up tonight.
@Bright_Ops

Still here, I was going to wait for a few more people to post before I did. Since I wanted to see how people would react to the demon that had just appeared. But since that's not happening I'll probably post again later today.
Went a little nuts with my post. I ended up writing over 5,000 words. O-o
The clash of steel sang out all around him, while the stench of sweat filled his nostrils. The large room was hot, due to both the number of bodies working out in it, and the fact that there were Firebenders practicing as well. Yue's wooden staff connected with his opponent's shoulder. Hard enough to warn the man he had gotten hit, but gentle enough not to cause him injury. The two backed up a bit, resetting their match, and after a moment began again. As their sparring continued, Yue's face remained as blank as it had been when they first started over an hour ago. Though he was tiring, as evident by the sweat causing his hair to stick to him, and by his heavier breathing, his expression showed no signs of it. Unlike his opponent, who was much more visibly tired.

They went on for a while longer, before Yue's opponent bent over with his hands on his knees. The younger soldier let up his attacks and instantly made sure his ally and training partner was okay. Though he may have been serious, he wasn't uncaring. The two agreed to call it a day and went their separate ways. It was Yue's day off, so naturally he planned on spending it training, or reading, as usual. As he left the training hall he retrieved his other weapons from the wall. The jian he strapped to his waist, while the tessen was tucked into the long sleeve of his top. The staff stayed in his left hand, tucked up against his body respectfully.

As Yue was heading to his room to clean up after training, he was stopped by another soldier. Apparently his father, General Wudao, wanted to see him. After thanking the soldier, Yue changed directions and began the walk to his father's office. He couldn't help but wonder just what his father wanted from him. It must have been a new assignment of some kind, that was the only time the man ever talked to him. He prayed to whatever higher power was out there that this new assignment would be more fun than the last ones. Guard duty and border skirmishes were hellishly boring.

Yue approached his father's office and rapped sharply on the door. Entering at his father's command. "You wanted to see me sir?" Yue said, his expression calm as ever.

General Wudao's usually stern expression softened. 'Boy, I may be your commanding officer, but I'm also your father. When we're alone, you're allowed to refer to me as such." The man stated, just as calmly as his son had.

Yue bowed respectfully. "Of course, father." Though the way he said father was exactly the same as he would have said sir.

General Wudao rose from his desk and beckoned his son to come towards him. The man turned around and looked out the large window behind his desk, watching the people go about their day, most none the wiser about what would happen next. "As you probably already know, the Water Tribe seems to be set on world domination." The man explained after Yue went to stand next to him. "And as you also already know, the Avatar is from the Fire Nation this time. We have located him, a boy just a few years younger than yourself."

Yue listened in silence, but at this he perked up. "I assume the Avatar is the key to stopping the Water Tribe." He stated, not asked.

General Wudao nodded. "Right now, he is only capable of Firebending. He will need teachers if he is to master the other elements and keep the peace. That is where you come in." The man paused, making Yue think this entire thing was a cruel joke. He was incapable of teaching the Avatar any bending style. "Your new assignment is simple. Protect the Avatar at all costs. If you fail this mission, your life is forfeit."

Though he didn't show it, Yue was frightened by the prospect, but also excited by it. "I understand father, and I will not fail."

General Wudao smiled. "Atta boy. You will find the boy on Ember Island, I suggest you pack your things and move quickly, he'll be moving soon."

With that, Yue was dismissed, and left his father's office after giving the man a bow. Yue walked through the halls towards his room, his pace faster than normal and a bit of a spring in his step. His new mission most certainly wasn't going to be boring, that's for sure. His heart fluttered with excitement and his usual blank expression was slightly less blank and leaning towards a smile. He returned to his room and quickly packed a bag. Something light that wouldn't slow him down, but also contained very useful objects. The least useful thing he had was a book, but that was one thing he couldn't go without in his eyes.

Packing took him less than ten minutes, and after it was done, he set off. The only person he would even consider saying goodbye to was his mother, and likely his father had already told her, so that would have just been a waste of time. Instead he set off right away toward Ember Island. Keeping his new mission fresh in his mind. Find and protect the Avatar, no matter the cost.
While Blaze was excited and didn't seem to be affected by their earlier failure anymore, Tsubaki was feeling worse after hearing the news. It didn't matter who the souls if they beat this mission, either way it felt like Blaze wanted to get rid of her as quickly as possible. Tsubaki let out a quiet sigh, hoping that her partner didn't notice. She managed a weak smile when Blaze reached up to pat her head, but it was one that was much easier to see through that the last one had been. Thankfully though, Blaze didn't seem to notice a thing. When her partner mentioned getting an energy drink, she didn't agree with it, but went along anyway. If he drank one now, he'd never sleep tonight.

Tsubaki stayed turned away from Blaze the entire ride back to Death City, pretending like she was staring out the window. But in reality, she was trying not to let him see that she was unhappy. If he was happy about the whole thing, she would just let him be happy. Just like she had done with her brother all those years ago. She'd say she wanted to play ball, while she really wanted to play house. While she was a bit tired, and the graze on her arm stung a little bit, she didn't sleep in the car. It didn't seem fair to fall asleep when Blaze couldn't and he was just as tired, if not more so.

Finally they arrived at the apartments, where Tsubaki would now be staying. She had packed up her dorm this morning before they had gone out for their mission. One of the teachers, Sid, who was apparently Blaze's legal guardian, was kind enough to move her stuff over while they did their work. So when they got up there, they should find her stuff in the apartment somewhere. If not she'd just have to go get it. She wouldn't be mad at Sid if that happened though. He wasn't obligated to do it, and teachers were busy after all. "Right..." Was all she said to Blaze's comment of home sweet home.

Tsubaki got out of the jeep and stretched her sore muscles. As part of her ninja training, she had pretty much walked everywhere her entire life. Even if it was several hours away by car like this had been. She wasn't used to sitting in a vehicle for long periods of time like that. She most certainly couldn't drive a car either. Maybe it would be a good thing to learn? But to honest she wasn't that interested in learning it.
I guess I'll add in my piece. Yue will tolerate everyone as long as they don't get between him and his orders of protecting the Avatar. Except maybe for Tenkai due to her dislike of none-benders. Even then he'll simply regard her a bit more coldly than the others.

Due to Yue's more serious nature, he'd probably be most annoyed by Masaru, despite his orders to protect him.
Tsubaki didn't like the idea of being able to make one of them a Death Weapon in one go. Because then they'd argue about it and fight over who got to be the Death Weapon. She really didn't want to fight with her partner over things. They were supposed to work together, and that's what she was trying to do. But now both Lord Death and Blaze were sort of leaving her out of the conversation. It was a little annoying actually. Sure she was quiet and peaceful, but she didn't like to be pushed aside. No one did. But instead of pushing her way in, she just stayed quiet. Fiddling with her long, dark, locks, as she did.

A human with a Strong Soul and a Witch in one place? It would be dangerous, but if they pulled it off, one of them could be a Death Weapon. Personally, Tsubaki wanted to leave the mission for Maka and Soul. They had just failed their Witch hunt and lost all 99 of their souls. They could use a chance like this. A soft sigh escaped her lips. Her partner looked really excited about the whole thing. It was pretty obvious who he wanted to become a Death Weapon. Maybe she should just go along with it and let him? Her wavelengths were really adaptable. She could partner with just about anyone.

Involuntary tears sprang into her eyes as she thought about Blaze becoming a Death Weapon and just leaving her. She quickly scrubbed them away and put a fake smile on her face. "It sounds like a good idea." She said, sounding convincingly excited. She had been faking happy since she was little, only those who knew her really well could tell when she was faking it. Blaze was not one of those people yet. And if they accepted this and beat it, probably never would be.
