Arisha heavily relies on Strength and Intelligence to increase her swordsmanship and magic attacks, respectively. Her most defining characteristic is the addition of a blue mana bar beneath her SP bar. Arisha is a heavily skill reliant character, and in the hands of an experience player, has the potential to compete with the likes of Lann and Hurk in terms of DPS. With a vast array of invulnerability frames, dodges and blocks, Arisha has no need to ever retreat from the fray. Able to constantly stay right in the action, the Silver Witch is an engaging and rewarding character in every aspect. Arisha is unique, in that she has no smash combination attacks; instead she has a five hit 'normal' combo, with her fourth and fifth strikes counting as smash attacks. The Mana Crystal she throws with the smash key acts as an extension of her arsenal, and is used for long range attacks, large explosions and area of effects, or allowing Arisha to trade places with it. She can also enchant her sword with Mana Blade, replacing her normal attacks with Arcane Flurry, a six string combo of frenzied smashes. The Silver Witch's survivability consists of her dodge, Diffusion Shift, which is a straight dash with small invulnerability frames, Diffusion Warp, which allows Arisha to trade places with her Mana Crystal and deal damage in the line created between it and her, Mana Drain, which blocks incoming attacks similar to Fiona's Guard, and Active: Ruin Blade, which, when activated successfully, gives her a decent duration of invulnerability frames. Finally, Arisha is capable of controlling time and space, completely stopping the enemy and allowing her allies to deal damage uncontested with Temporal Shift.
From someone like Hulk or Thor? In that regard then you're going to want your shield to be able to withstand 100 tons. That being said it's going to take a lot to break it and activate Escape. Guns won't be a problem at all.
Well, at max I would guess. SH13FT is a very useful source for energy, and if you used adrenaline shots and SH13FT she would be able to withstand Hulks and Thor's punch in one hit without focus.
@AiyvaGuard At 20 you can eat bullets and rockets all day. Do you want your shield to be able to stand up against someone like Thor or Hulk and take continuous strikes from them before breaking? Do you want it to be on par with Sue Storm? Do you want your shield to be able to stand up to Spider-Man punches?
Yes, something that can withstand multiple attacks. XD
@AiyvaGuard Well they are strong compared to our real world standards. Like those two could punch our heads off, but even in the real world, your shield with that limit wouldn't be able to take a piano or car falling on it. If you want the durability of your shield to grow as the story goes on and you get stronger then I'd start it around somewhere from being able to take the total amount of 3-5 tons of damage over a period of time. If you're going to be facing things like explosives, lightning and energy based attacks then I'd increase it a bit more. But making it to where it doesn't need to be overpowered in one single blow would probably be the best option. For example: Shield can tank the total amount of 10 tons of force before breaking. Mr A punches with the force of two tons. It would take Mr. A at least 5 rapid full force punches to break the shield. That way she is able to tank damage, move or hold a line, while not having to just take one blow or only worrying about people who are stronger than her shield. I don't know what kind of enemies you're going to face, so the GMs would be better to help scale it's durability to be more rounded with the opposition. Just read one of Ruby's last posts, so yeah, it should be upped greatly from 435 lbs of force if you're going to be blocking bullets with it.
So...what weight should it be at? I mean, I want it to be a shield that can be enough to protect someone from multiple rockets, bullets, beams, etc.
@AiyvaGuardI'm not a GM or anything but I read the op and your character. Not sure if you meant it to be this way but your shield is very weak in comparison to things that you may want to shield against. Like it would break if Wolverine or Captain America punched it. I know that it triggers another effect when broke. Not criticizing your character or anything. If you planned on the shield not being very durable then I apologize for bringing this up. I also apologize if I read your sheet wrong.
@RubyLikewise I don't mean or intend to tell anyone what to do with a character for your RP. I was just making a friendly suggestion in case they meant for it to be a moderately durable shield. No disrespect intended to anyone.
Really o-o I didn't know they were that powerful. My last idea of the shield is, that it was so durable it can hold two trucks and can save ones live from a 4 story fall XD. If you mind, can you you or the GM help me increase its power?
feels more like magic than a mutation, but i mean one guys blood has turned into gasoline so what do I know
Shield isn't like magic, it just creates am invisible force that forms into a shield, but Escape is mostly based on magical powers, I would like to think mutations have some sort of effect on the brain and so it uses some of the knowledge from your brain to gain what it will look like, etc. Just my theory XD
" Trust is simply hope in another form. As it gives us hope, hoping that this someone will keep your secrets. " | Height] 5ft | Weight] 123lb | Build] Atheltic |
Name| Kyn Ohn Yung ( Kin/Kim Yung )
Age| 21 (Baby-faced, yup check out Jang Na Ra, she's 31.)
Nationality| Korean
Three random facts about your character| She is good at baking. Is very inaccurate when it comes to math. The atmosphere awkwardly shifts when she reveals her age, and then has to show her I.D to prove it.
Mutant Power| "Shield and Escape" Shield is a invisible force that contracts around her, powerful enough to shield one from a two story fall, the shield is able to carry only 435.3 pounds of force until it were to shatter, thus an escape route is built. Escape is a dodge maneuver in which the user is able to teleport from a short-distance to escape an impelling death or maybe an attack. The escape emits blue particles, bright enough to shun the opponent so the user is allowed to escape. Another ability used within 'escape' is the escape-route it forms a 'arcane' (or magic) circle thus the circle rapidly spins, quickly a blue circle forms around the user (or your allies) thus seemingly collapsing from within as they travel far away from the danger zone, 1 yard away. ( Distance and strength can both be manipulated if you gave Kyn enough energy to increase it. An energy source known as ' SH13FT ' The particles appear when she activates 'escape-route', SH13FT can be gathered if you were to give Kyn adrenaline shots. Adrenaline shots effect escape rapidly and instead of escaping it deflects other objects with the bubble when it is formed and also increasing the speed of the arcane circle, so fast that it is able to generate small amounts of SH13FT, SH1FT is like eletricty but instead of all types of metals it can only be conducted by platinum. Both abilities require her mind to work, focusing increases the strength of the shield and escape-route to its full potential
