Nurse Ann jumped a little and put her hand to her heart "Oh my stars! Desmond please don't sneak up on me..." She whispers pacing back and forth in the hall way. Even checking down stairs to see if anyone else saw her. "I was just about to go make the fire and make the desserts"

"Oh, sorry..." Desmond goes to go back down the stairs. "I thought something was wrong..." He kept an eye on her, walking ever so slowly.

Desmond simply smiled back politely as he walked. Inside the boy was screaming. 'NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NOOOOO!' Desmond noticed the other nurse's distress and walked after Nurse Ann, following her. "Nurse Ann?"

Nurse Ann rubs her neck "It's fine Desmond. They won't kill me or anything. I'll be fine. And it would be worth it. So don't worry" she assured him with a small smile. She just wanted to calm him down. She didn't know want him or the kids to worry about her.

He looked at her and smiled back, a small smile. "OK... If you say so..." He replied. He still didn't like the idea, but if she really was sure then he guessed he would leave her alone about it. He was sure she'd rather him have fun and be happy instead of being worried. The kid put his hands in his pockets and walked back towards the kitchen, now not really knowing anything else he could do for now...

Desmond laughs a little himself. "Is that so?" He snickers. "I like it!" But then, after a pause, he looked at her a bit worried. "Won't you get in trouble?" He asked. He didn't want Ann getting in trouble because she did something for them... he actually liked her, a lot. He felt a pang of guilt, at the thought of her being yelled at or something for just trying to be nice to them...

Nurse Ann headed inside and stopped when she saw Desmond "Oh Desmond, did you get the wood?" She smiles softly.Tori thinks "Um....nope.....the only man I saw was the doctor and he left with the nurses before you came in here." Tori mutters wrapping her arms around her stomach.

Desmond smiled a bit and blushed lightly. "Yes ma'am." 'Wow, I think this is the first time I've felt like a kid in a while... All these other nurses treat me like some kind of prisoner or something...' Desmond then smirked. "I scared the crap out of Nurse Garza. I don't think she was expecting me to be there. Is there supposed to be a fire and all that...?" His smirk widened considerably; he liked the idea of doing something that the other nurses might not approve of.

Desmond blinked and just went back to what he was doing. After he finished he went off to find Nurse Ann again, to tell her he'd gotten the wood. He thought Nurse Garza had acted a bit strangely... He smirked. Were they doing something they technically weren't supposed to? He'd have to ask her, though he guessed as much from Garza's reaction... He wondered how Nurse Phil would also react...

Tori ,after a while, heard her dry voice "Come.....in" she said, but it barely came out as whisper. She couldn't make her voice say those two words any louder. Her throat hurt and was dry, she felt so tired.....Nurse Garza walks in the room, jumping back a little "Oh Desmond it's you." She stares at the wood in the chimney "What are you doing....." She stares at Desmond.

Desmond looked at her. "I'm getting wood for the fire..." He said simply, as if it was all the explanation he needed. "Why?"

Even as Kevin took his first sip he knew it'd been a mistake. The smallest taste burned indescribably as it went down, but before he could recoil from the glass he felt something hit it and was unable to stop the liquid going down his throat, and splashing into his face. He didn't even remember what happened after that. All he knew was that it HURT! When he finally gained control of himself again he immediately silenced the cries he'd been making, and shakily got back to his feet. 'God damn it...' He thought, groaning. 'Why am I always the butt of everyone's jokes?'

Creed collapsed with laughter as he watched Kevin, his own friend, in agony. He agreed with Bob, that was quite amusing. It was some time before his laughing halted and even as Kevin glared at him he snickered.
