This account is pretty inactive now. But I pop on from time to time to see if anything of interest pops up. I tend to drop out of things with writers block if I find myself lacking in interest, but do try to keep things long=term. Been offline for most of the last 12 months but hoping I might soon find something to get me back in that RP saddle.

Irvine just barely managed to dodge the flung fireball after the creature had teleported away from yet another of his attacks. As he was about to launch another attack a flame spout shot up in front of him. Irvine turned to watch as he got encircled by a cell of flames. As the heat rose the psychotic crack wavered as Irvine turned to look at the creature. "Inconvenient.." he muttered as he sat down in the cell. Whipping sweat from his forehead Irvine looked around through the small breaks in the flames for any changes to his surroundings that he could exploit. "Let's try something different..." Irvine looked back to the creature. "Surely if you wanted me dead, this wouldn't be necessary. So..." Irvine whipped further sweat away from his face as the heat intensified further. "What the hell do you want?"@The One
Irvine's eyes went wide as the creature went to counter his attack reversing his momentum, kicking against the ground to push himself back. He raised his left arm to shield his eyes from to fierce blast. His decision lead to him quickly flinging off his scruffy jacket as the arm caught an am ember and quickly went ablaze. Acting as fast he could he flung an orb, crafted from the burning smoke at the creature.@The One
Irvine struggled to keep his balance as the quake started. "Get back here!" he barked as he charged, or more rather stumbled with haste after his opponent. The blade of shadows continuously failed to form "Fine!" Irvine flipped the hilt in his hand so that the metal pommel extruded outwards. The he saw it it, the fire ball plummeting towards him. Irvine picked up his pace as he gained composure on the shaking ground heading for the safest place, his opponent. As he closed the gap a laugh escaped him as he swung the hilt for the creatures face. "It's now or never!" He yelled trying to encroach himself on his enemies footing.@The One
Irvine watched as the fox disappeared. He turned to his mimic with a smile. "See I told you! Trap!" He then watched as his mimic was scorched nothingness. Irvine looked up as the sun bared down on him. "Wow... that's... that's kinda warm" He then gazed around noticing not a single shadow was being cast in the clearing. He shook his head at himself before casting his eyes on the creature that had taken the wolf's place. A slow clap of congratulations were in order. "Now that's impressive. So..." Irvine spoke as he muffled back laughing at his own predicament. "What kind of trap are you? Oh mighty light bringer, surely even you know. That in light, there will always be darkness." Irvine adjusted his top as he stared back at the mighty creature. "Now are you going to play fair? Or no?"

Irvine had not waited for an answer as he freed the Shadow Hilt from his belt. "You see..." Irvine chuckled softly. "Your magic can kill the darkness on the outside." The boy at this point was practically finding it impossible not to burst into complete hysterics. "But you cannot kill the darkness that's within!" As Irvine spoke dark energy began to seep to the hilt from his hand as it began too form a small blade.@The One
"Urgh... sly creature" Irvine mumbled as he rested his hand on Shadow Hilt. The mimic in the clearing did the same, those its shadow hilt was merely a replica it could still craft basic weapons at Irvine's will. With a sigh Irvine stepped into the clearing expecting the worst.@The One
I'll just keep my posts short while I start to catch up ^_^ hope that's ok? @The One
Irvine and the mimic watched as the fox walked into a large open space. The mimic and Irvine looked at each other then both motioned with their heads toward the opening. They both began to walk forward towards the opening but Irvine stopped short, watch as the mimic then stepped forward into the open space to investigate what was within. Was this place to be the trap that the guiding wolf reeked of?@The One
I'm just going to scout from here atop the hedges and see if I can see anything, or just more maze.
Irvine decided to take a moment whilst at higher ground gazing out over the maze to try and decipher where the fox was trying to lead him. His shadow mimic, merely copied Irvine's movements this was all a deliberate ruse as the two constantly switched places to deceive their guide into not knowing which of them was the mimic and which was the real person. They both occasionally glance at the fox to see if it has moved.
